35, Edmonton, CAI love life's simple pleasures: time spent with family and friends, time spent in prayer and helping others, sunrise and sunset, and the beach. It does not take much to make me laugh. I'm an optimist and like to see the best in everyone and every situation. I'm shy at first, but open up quickly.

24, Mundare, CAAs of October 11th, 2015, I am retiring from Catholic Match, and not returning in the foreseeable future. Hello, I am Stephen, and I am a young Catholic man in search of a wife. I am fond of reading, particularly from classic literature, but also from history, early Twentieth Century thrillers, and mysteries. I also like films, if they are well made (or, if I feel like a laugh, if they are badly made). Among films I particularly like BBC and competitors' adaptions of the classics, high detail cartoons, and character-driven television series. For active leisure, my principle activities are walks (typically with much talking), and ballroom dance (note that this includes swing dancing, also known as jive). I am rather a shy man, with a tendency to be stiff on first acquaintance. However, once I really know a person, I will often make near continuous jokes throughout the conversation. Although I am essentially an introvert, getting my energy from time alone, I easily grow lonely and have a great need for conversation, to the degree that, if I have nothing else to talk about, I will approach my brother and confront him with a question as to how he should act in a given improbable situation. These conversations are very rarely long, but they have encouraged him to develop a dry wit of which brevity is the soul. I am also very affectionate, anxious for peace with those I love and giving so many hugs as to sometimes make my mother and sisters tire of them.
50, Red Deer, CAHello. New to the site. I thought I would begin with a simple message. I would love to met that special lady to be part of my life. Someone to share the days we are granted on this earth
25, Calgary, CAHi, I am new to this thing called online dating. I really do not know what to say or do. I enjoy reading, watching tv and movies, hanging out with friends, family, and Jesus, playing board games.
26, Mundare, CAChrist first in all things! (But since there's specific field for talking about the faith, I guess I'll wait to talk about that further along.) St Iranaeus said, "The glory of God is man fully alive!" I believe that maxim with my whole heart. To start with, I'm a voracious reader. Great literature, philosophy, mysteries, history, theology, children's literature, spiritual - I'll welcome it with open arms into my already bursting bookshelf. My love of ink doesn't stop with reading books, however - I love writing novels, poetry, and plays. Although I really struggle with shyness when I am getting to know someone, I'm an extrovert behind it all, and love long conversations about anything everything. I love a good debate or Socratic discussion, but also love joking around or comparing notes on a good movie. I enjoy going on long, rambling walks with others. I love working with youth. Theatre is a passion of mine, on either side of the footlights. I'm also fond of dancing (ballroom, swing, English and Irish country dancing) and you can sometimes find me informally DJing at dances thrown by my family or friends. Singing makes me happy. I like getting together with other Catholics for prayer, and am one of the organizers for a Catholic singles/young adults group. I do like watching a good show from time to time, and I must admit I enjoy reading articles on the Internet, though I try to make sure I'm balanced about it. I like boardgames as well.
23, Edmonton, CAI am a culinary arts student at NAIT who came from a small town called Behchoko, Northwest Territories. At the moment I have some vague ideas of either joining the militarily to become a cook or going back to my hometown and find employment. As of right now I am currently happy with my present situation meanwhile studying the Wayne Gisslen "Professional Cooking for Canadian Chefs". As I add some volunteering work to my resume and small time adventures as I currently reside in Edmonton. If you're wondering why I chose this path for my future career is because I thought I would do decently well as a nursing student back at another campus, however, I decided it wasn't for me. After my program was finished. I found employment as a detention guard for the local RCMP detachment including various work as substitute teacher and archivist for at least for nine-ish months. I realize I want to something else than hopping around jobs and take a program that I may like. What I love to do is relax back at home or go off to an adventure around the city. However, with my strict time schedule (sleeping/napping. I have to wake up early for my morning classes) I mostly stay back at home and read up articles or watch some videos.
