68, Medicine Hat, CAMy life is wonderful and full, but I would love to find a special person to share it with. I am now teaching adults part-time, after more than 20 years of teaching elementary students. I've lived in Manitoba, BC, Ontario and Oregon, but have called southern Alberta home for many years. In 1995 I converted to Catholicism after much thought and prayer; it felt like coming home. My faith is central to my life. I enjoy close friendships with a number of wonderful people. I am also close to my siblings and their children. We live some distance away from one another, but talk and get together as often as we can. In my free time, I enjoy attending plays/movies/live music events, writing, reading, photography, gardening, yoga and hiking. I like to stay active! I love to travel; Italy is a favorite destination, but I'm open to traveling just about anywhere. I love to experience different cultures.
60, Airdrie, CAI was raised in the catholic faith, I am Native Canadian and I think I am down to earth. I love to golf when I can, watch sports on tv, probably not as much now as my team, the Flames might not make the playoffs! I am new to this on-line "dating" but I would like to meet that :certain someone. I want to enjoy life and believe a healthy mind and body make that more enjoyable. I am a bit on the shy side until I feel comfortable, like a book it's what inside that matters. Hmm didn't think I could say more than 250 words!
60, Calgary, CAA vey sincere and loyal individual who lives life to the fullest and enjoys the gift of life. I am grounded and rooted in God's love and mercy. I am friendly, loving, caring and an extreme lover of nature. I love hiking, going to the mountains or even strolls in the park. I also enjoy the company of family and friends.
66, Calgary, CAI am most passionate about reflecting my love and concern for others in my daily life. I have had the opportunity to have several experiences and to know more than one influential person throughout my life to date . For me the most faith filled experience in my life was the conception and birth of my two sons. In my leisure time, I enjoy dancing, listening to music- rock n roll, easy listening and classical and singing or playing the piano or organ.
66, Calgary, CAHello ! Although my family always called me David (Stephen), because my Dad's name was David (Charles) as well. This was started by my Mom, who when she would yell for one of us would never get an answer because each of us thought that it must be the other David test was in trouble, lol! I never thought that at my age I would still be seeking that life long friend and soul mate, but here I am, a proud Canadian of Irish / English descent, just trying to make my way in this life, making whatever contribution that God wills me to do. Born, raised and educated in Toronto (yes, the Centre of the Universe, just ask us, lol!), I spent a lot of my post university years trying to get out of the place, lol. Having recognized my true nature as a cowboy at heart you can imagine my delight when I found my way to Calgary! I get very passionate about my "button pushers" which rotate around any kind of abuse of the downtrodden and oppressed, whether they are human or animal. Sometimes the abuse of children, the aged and animals is most important because these are those who cannot necessarily speak / fend for themselves.
61, Fort Macleod, CAI am a very even dispositioned person. I rarely get angry and when I do it passes quickly and I usually regret that it happened. I enjoy fine dining, wine, and sports. I enjoy walking, weight lifting, tennis and other sports. I look forward to summers every year. My sons are very important to me. I am active in the Church and have been a long time member of the Knights of Columbus. I am passionate about my faith, cooking and wine. I try to be as active as possible and recently rededicated myself to getting in shape. I played competitive tennis and volleyball into my thirties when I saw my sons come into the world. Who has been influential in my life? A parish priest when I was 6 to 10 years old. He greeted everyone he met. I grew up in a small town where the Anglicans and Presbyterians did not speak to Catholics. This Priest spoke to everyone eventhough he never received a pleasant rely from some. He always said do the best you can and ask for God's help. He will never give you a trial you cannot handle with his help. I have acted on that all my life and he has been right. I love music. All kinds (rap is not music) for classical to country. I particularly love jazz especially the standards. I enjoy smooth jazz of all kinds. Vinyl sounds better than digital. My prejudices are showing. I enjoy talking about the issues of the day and I do like to know more than the 30 second clip. Issues are too complicated to solve by blowing up someone who disagrees with you.

61, Calgary, CAI have been widowed for four years and am now ready to see if there is a like minded gentleman who would like to share my life. I am fit and active and enjoy a healthy social life. And I have had a rewarding and successful career. I'm very passionate about the issues of the day and love a lively discussion. My ideal partner would be a kind and caring gentleman who looks forward to living a full life and who loves dogs. The idea of meeting a new man is very unfamiliar territory for me ... I spent a wonderful 40 years with my late husband and I have to be honest when I say it's taken me some time to realize that I don't want to be alone. I have a great life, but as many of you will understand, it's a couples world out there. I want a relationship based on honesty and trust. I cannot abide dishonesty in any way. You would be my best friend and I would be yours.
