25, Stony Plain, CAHmmm... what to say... Well I guess to start I am an unwavering Catholic lady with a love for my faith and the call to live it. I believe in giving what I can to the Church in both time and energy, so my social life mostly revolves around the people and events that have come into my life because of the parish I attend. If God comes first, then family definitely comes second. I come from a large family of mostly boys, and as such I grew up knowing how to run for my life. :) The years of our childhood antics have been in our past now for quite some time, but the closeness we shared (even in our fights to the death) has continued into our adult lives. We share a bond with each other to support and love one another as a family should. However, we are introverts (well, mostly anyway), so though you may expect us to see each other everyday from the way I talk about them, it just isn't so. We see each other when we can, but won't overdo it. Speaking of introversion; that is a good word to describe me. I may not be the most introverted individual I have ever met, but I do enjoy my solitude and the hobbies that fill it. Like reading. I read a lot. This is not an exaggeration. I own many books, mostly fantasy, that fill multiple shelves in my home. The list doesn't shrink either. I also enjoy artistic abilities like singing, sewing, knitting, and art mediums, though I do not excel at any one no matter how good people seem to think my talents are. I am varied, but not perfect. I am not an outdoorsy or sporty person, though I really enjoy camping. I am not much of a traveler though I would be willing to go some places. I am slightly sarcastic, serious, and loyal to a fault. All rolled into one. :) Oh, and I am a nerd. Or a geek depending on your definition. I don't know computers worth jack, nor do I play video games (not that I couldn't see myself doing that, just that I never grew up with them and now am sadly lacking in any skills to even begin contemplating trying it out), rather I am familiar with many nerdy themes from Star Trek/Wars/Gate to Doctor Who to Lord of the Rings to some anime works/manga. I do enjoy a good nerdy conversation and have spent some time with certain siblings discussing the outcome of various different scenarios, like whether or not Superman would be affected by the Force. Anyway, that is a bit about me. Gives you a glimpse into my life.

28, Calgary, CAMy faith is very important to me and recently I have felt a yearning to do what I can to strengthen my knowledge of Catholicism. I grew up in a very large, close, Catholic family where our faith was always a significant aspect. My family, as a whole, has definitely been the most influential force in my life. For leisure I enjoy listening to all genres of music or reading a good book. I also love watching movies and travelling.
21, Calgary, CAHi I'm Desiree. We move here in Canada about 5 years ago. I'm a middle child I like to be independent, I'm very understanding, caring and kind. Family is everything to me.I love spending time with my family and friends. I work as a Dental Assistant which I really love, but still planning to go back to school soon, I love to sing.
26, Mundare, CAChrist first in all things! (But since there's specific field for talking about the faith, I guess I'll wait to talk about that further along.) St Iranaeus said, "The glory of God is man fully alive!" I believe that maxim with my whole heart. To start with, I'm a voracious reader. Great literature, philosophy, mysteries, history, theology, children's literature, spiritual - I'll welcome it with open arms into my already bursting bookshelf. My love of ink doesn't stop with reading books, however - I love writing novels, poetry, and plays. Although I really struggle with shyness when I am getting to know someone, I'm an extrovert behind it all, and love long conversations about anything everything. I love a good debate or Socratic discussion, but also love joking around or comparing notes on a good movie. I enjoy going on long, rambling walks with others. I love working with youth. Theatre is a passion of mine, on either side of the footlights. I'm also fond of dancing (ballroom, swing, English and Irish country dancing) and you can sometimes find me informally DJing at dances thrown by my family or friends. Singing makes me happy. I like getting together with other Catholics for prayer, and am one of the organizers for a Catholic singles/young adults group. I do like watching a good show from time to time, and I must admit I enjoy reading articles on the Internet, though I try to make sure I'm balanced about it. I like boardgames as well.
25, Edmonton, CAYou found me. Here I am, just testing the waters to see who is out there. I really enjoy meeting people in the real world but am giving online a try. I'd like to find that beautiful type of relationship where life can be shared on a deeper level. I'm looking for someone who is genuine, intelligent and has a good sense of humor - being genuine is very important for me. An ideal long-term relationship is easy to maintain, involves lively discussions, engages our friends and family around us, contains laughter and a mutual pursuit of our passions. I am smart, fun, authentic, affectionate, and love to try new things. You could say that I am a true "man's man", with my priorities in order and I know how to treat a lady. I balance professionalism and fun in all of life's adventures. I work hard and am very close with my family and friends. If you want to know more about me you should message me.
