I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, reading, sports and learning new things. I went to college in Illinois where I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and my Graduate degree in Special Education. I am looking to share my Catholic faith with someone who has similar beliefs and values! I hope to find someone who enjoys going to movies, spending time exercising and trying new adventures.

From past experiences, I will say that most people need a helping hand in understanding me, so I will use this to best translate that and give those that are interested a leg up. I am an INTJ, a very rare personality that is not easy for others to fully understand. Here are the cliff notes: I am imaginative yet decisive, ambitious yet private, amazingly curious, but only if my interest is piqued. "Anyone who doesn't have the talent to keep up with INTJ's processes, or worse yet, doesn't see the point of them, is likely to immediately and permanently lose their respect" "Everything should be open to questioning and reevaluation..." "will strive to remain rational no matter." Strengths: high self confidence, quick and versatile mind, jack-of-all-trades, independent and decisive, hard-working and determined, imaginative and strategic, honest and direct, open-minded... Weaknesses: perfectionist, over-analyze, judgmental, and often clueless when it comes to romantic relationships. This is me in a psychological nut shell. Not exactly, but you get the gist. My faith humbles me and it is a constant battle to not be outwardly arrogant or judgmental. I am very open-minded, but I do not open up to my emotions and my vulnerabilities very easily, so I am looking for someone with patience, someone who understands and can communicate rather than assume or "read into" things that are not there. If you are looking for a brutally honest person who cares deeply for being a gentleman, a good Catholic, a strong provider, and are willing to work through the difficult challenge I personally face with emotional connectivity (trust me, it is there, it just is buried deep) then let's meet up. The worse that can happen is we don't click.

I believe that a person's wealth should be measured by the quality of his or her friends, and from that perspective, I feel wealthy indeed. My recent conversion is most important to me, and I have joined this site because I would like to be close with someone who shares my faith and my values . . . and my sense of humor, because that is definitely a key part of my personality. My character has been shaped by events that have challenged me both academically and physically. As a result, I have become a solid citizen, with a strong sense of right and wrong. And a sense of humor (think Gary Cooper in High Noon . . . but with wisecracks). Given a choice between Most Likely to Succeed and Wittiest I would (and did) choose the latter. There is an excerpt of a poem that I think describes me: "All that is gold does not glitter,/Not all those who wander are lost;/The old that is strong does not wither, /Deep roots are not reached by the frost." Not that I am old or anything . . . . . . . . .

First and foremost, I live by the "Golden Rule" and treat others the way I'd like to be treated. I'm a good man and have strong ethics. I'm sensitive and able to express how I feel. I'm a strong man, a fighter. I'm looking for a kind, affectionate woman that wants to go slowly and develop a strong friendship first. If romance, isn't in the cards, then a new friend is always welcomed. I love to meet people, because we're all one of a kind and all have something to offer!

I am a outgoing, spontaneous, multifaceted, honest person with a sense of humor whose profile is current with no touchups on age or pictures. I am void of skeletons, have no baggage and am definitely not a help me save me person. I believe in finding the good in all things. Sometimes a stretch, but I would rather deal in the positive versus getting caught up in "drama" that is really not relevant in the long run. I enjoy exploring the less traveled roads. Hiking, boating, sailing, walking beaches and discovery new places is a major part of my DNA. On the business front I have had a small consulting company which I am still active in. I enjoy discovering those tiny restaurants that turn out to be amazing, having long conversations on a variety of topics, spending time with my family and friends.
