55, Chandler, AZIn case you are wondering why I am this old and still single, it's got a lot to do with being a single mom, I found it hard to date while raising my daughter as it was difficult to find someone to accept us, my daughter and me, as a package. Once she was grown and gone off on her own, it seems harder to meet people the older I get... About me - I am someone who loves life, having fun, I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. I love to try new things and explore new places. My friends have said I am someone who does not let life pass me by. I like to live according to a quote by Mother Teresa, "everyone we meet should become a better or changed person, because of having met us". I love to serve in ministry, am currently volunteering in prison ministry with youth and the women, and really enjoy working with them! I like to work hard, but I also like to play hard. I have a great community of friends and love to spend time enjoying each others company when we get together, but would love to have someone to share my life and friends with.

In my leisure time I enjoy talk radio and reading a good book.
30, Mesa, AZAllow me to share a story with you. Some years ago, my dad and I decided to go to Ireland for St. Patrick's Day. We landed in Dublin on a cold, damp, misty Sunday morning. It looked and felt exactly like you think Ireland would. Of course it being a Sunday and landing at 6:30 in the morning, nothing was open. We had thought to arrive early and get a jump on our trip, but unfortunately the rental car didn't open until 8am. In time we got our car but the hotel wasn't ready for us and so we drove around a bit looking for a church. As fate would have it, we found one. And even better we were just in time for Mass! The service is a blur in my mind but I remember a feeling quite content. And jetlagged. Afterward, my stomach was eating my spine. I was starving, bleary-eyed, and cold. But God must have been smiling on us for lo and behold! Right behind the church was the old Jameson distillery. Being good Irish Catholics, we headed in. And would you believe it, they served breakfast! After tucking away a delicious meal, we decided to take the tour. When the call went out for taste-testers I eagerly volunteered. At the end of the tour, I was presented with mini-shots of whiskeys from Ireland, Scotland and the US. Pretending to have a discerning pallet, I happily sipped down all my mini-shots and then enjoyed a proper glass of my favorite one. Being on a roll, my dad and I headed to Guinness. We pulled up to the brewery with its thick black gate and golden sign. Arriving there felt like reaching the end of a pilgrimage. I can't say it was a *holy* experience but it was certainly mystical. Or at least misty. But inside was the mecca of all Irish beers, and my dad and I were ready to pay homage to our roots. After a number of free samples a proper pint, we meandered our way back to the hotel to sleep off the first day of our adventure. Traveling and storytelling are in my blood. Perhaps it's my Irish heritage, or maybe it's my innate curiosity, but I love to explore and try new things. Even if it's something as ridiculous as stumbling into a distillery after Mass. I'm a passionate person and when I find something I love, I pursue it with steadfast dedication. Experiencing history is one such passion. When it comes to my Irish heritage, the love affair began when I was very small and has continued through to this day. But this is just one facet of who I am. I would be delighted to tell you more about myself. Just ask away!
66, Scottsdale, AZAlthough I retired earlier this year, I still enjoy working in reservations and customer service for a large hotel organization. Having just recently moved to the Phoenix area from Denver, I am enjoying exploring my new home city! I love sports to watch and I walk 3 miles almost daily or swim and who doesn't love hanging out in a hot tub? I'm still looking for a home parish to land in. Until then I have attended mass at many of the Phoenix area churches. I would live outside if I could and the weather is one reason I moved to the desert. Family is important, but not overwhelming. My kids have grown up to be awesome, productive adults and I love to spend time with them and my very first grandchild! Service to others is a priority in my life and I am looking for that "encore" project. I am open to new ideas and love to dialogue about anything....including all the taboo subjects.....like religion, politics, comedy, drama, the state of life in general......talk to me and tell me about you!
36, Phoenix, AZI am passionate about music! I look forward to attending mass and getting together with my choir - that has saved my sanity after a devastating divorce process. I am looking forward to finally learning to play the guitar so that I can incorporate that in my choir practices. I have been divorced for almost 10 years now, and have been out of the dating scene for about 9 of them. I promised myself two things - never again believe in men, and especially think of re-marriage. Time heals, and even though I have slowly changed my views... I still struggle with the first one occasionally. It takes constant reminder to myself that life is a learning journey and that my mom is right - someone else, someday will be there for me again. The people that have been most influential in my life have most definitely been my parents - each in their own special way. My mothers' faith is something that amazes me each day, and my fathers' determination to provide for his family. What I enjoy doing most in my leisure time is helping others in need, and singing.
47, Scottsdale, AZI believe in God, Family and work in that order. I work hard and love to enjoy time with family and friends. I love my 3 young boys who are my true blessings in my life and thank God everyday for them. I believe in trust, faith and honesty in a relationship. I look forward to gaining new friendships and hopefully that someone to share the rest of my life with that has the same values that I hold dear.
46, Mesa, AZI love the outdoors. I enjoy riding bicycle with Saturday group, swimming laps, and to the gym. I do however spend my time in career establishment of over 12 years. I enjoy hearing and sharing experiences. Competed in many triathlons when I was in my 20's. I participated in ASU masters swimming for a while. Ultra runs and marathons were my favorite until I did a 5k. But then I am talking 15 years ago. I am well established in career! A go getter.
42, Phoenix, AZI have been so blessed in my life to have experienced so many adventures. From the start, growing up in the Midwest (suburbs of Chicago) enjoying endless summers with friends - swimming, playing "kick the can", and riding bikes throughout the neighborhood. I was one of the first in my family to go to college, earning my Mechanical Engineering degree. Then I moved to Phoenix, AZ for my first job - where 20 years later I am still working. Outside of work, I always have loved the outdoors and spend as much time as possible doing various activities, including: hiking, swimming, running, mountain biking, road biking, cross country skiing, water skiing and volleyball. I also have been bowling since I was 9 years old - love the sport, friends and the beer. Most recently I have traveled to amazing places - Greece, Israel, Peru, Italy, Croatia, Poland, Belgium, Amsterdam, France, England and Costa Rica. I am a devout Catholic - despite hating CCD as a kid, I have always had the Church as my home. Immediately after college I began volunteering in youth ministry in any parish I was attending. I learned so much about the Catholic Church and began truly growing spiritually. For the past 10 years I have been serving at my church with the high school teens. I have received so much from this community including growing deeper in my faith (not to mention all the fun/laughs with these amazing teens). In fact, the current youth minister was a freshman in the program the first year I joined - now I am working on his "core" team - so proud to serve with him.
33, Phoenix, AZI'm an honest, optimistic and loyal person, l like to go out to eat, to the movies, listening to music and enjoy outdoors.
