Well hello there, single Catholic onlooker. "Allow myself to introduce... ...Myself." I was born and raised in the Chicago area, pursued 8 long years of higher education in Indiana and ultimately ended up living in what is otherwise known as the Valley of the Sun. I'm slightly less pale than I used to be (only slightly), but I've kept my midwestern sensibilities and my Chicagoan appreciation for good food. I love trying new restaurants. I've discovered a number of local favorites in my meandering expeditions for food, but I can also be counted on to be ready for a movie, concert, bar trivia or a night on the karaoke stage. When the weather is nice I like to grab a drink on a nice patio, enjoy the sun and have some intelligent conversation. Speaking of drinks, I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about beer and scotch (I like porters and Islay/Highland scotches, if you must know). Beyond venturing out to procure food and drink and be social, I am quite content to spend some relaxing time at home. I have a condo near Fashion Square and enjoy having visitors. I like to play guitar and sing. Every once in a while a nice elderly person sitting in front of me at Mass will tell me I have a good singing voice so clearly that makes me some kind of rock star. I like just about anything I can sing to, and I will use that line to defend my fondness for Katy Perry's music should you ever call me out on it (yeah, I know, don't judge me). I do my fair share of "guy stuff" like watch sports or play video games, but I'd welcome the chance to go hang out with a special lady if she's not into those things and get a change of scenery. There are all sorts of things that I don't necessarily do alone (e.g. cooking) that I would enjoy doing with the right company. Of course, life can't always be fun and games. When the time comes, I can be hardworking and ambitious too. I earned a PhD in electrical engineering at age 25. It is an achievement I'm quite proud of and I couldn't have done it without genuinely enjoying what I do. (science is awesome!) I figure on a dating profile it's better to share a demonstrable sign of intellect than to give the standard cliche: "I'm smart, funny, etc." In person though, I'm pretty modest and often self-deprecating. In short I like to have fun and don't take myself too seriously.

Hi, I enjoy the simple things in life like reading a book and hiking. I also like trying out new restaurants and visiting new places. I"m the father of two young ladies, one out on her own, the youngest still home but definitely doing her own thing. I'm close to my family, though most are out of state.

I am looking for someone to spend my life with. Someone that some day will be my best friend. I like the outdoors camping and fishing. I like traveling, going to dinner and a movie, or just staying home and cooking and watching Netflix. I like going up north in the summer where it is a lot cooler and fishing the mountain lakes. I look forward to going to Mass and sharing that with someone.

I wake up with a happy cheerful mood. Full of gratitude for another beautiful day to enjoy. I am grateful for a website to meet new friends that share the foundation of our Catholic faith. I work in the Interior Design field, love long walks, especially when possible near water. Enjoy good books, movies, theater, listening to music and quiet prayer time.

I am a positive and romantic woman who is looking to meet that special someone to keep up with my outgoing personality. I am interested in developing a relationship with a handsome, kind, considerate, and professional man who is also committed to developing a relationship that is Catholic, practices his faith and attends church regularly. Most importantly, I do have pets so if you are allergic to pets that will not work for me. I like traveling and since I have spent a great deal of my adult life in California, I tend to go to California regularly. I do like to take trips and other day trips. I like to be active by playing tennis, dancing, going to the beach, and enjoying other activities and would like to meet someone who is interested in doing similar types of things that I enjoy. I like dancing for fun, country western, jazz, hard rock, salsa and west coast. I am not your typical type of person. I have a lot of different interests. I am also very open to learning new things, such as playing golf (if you can teach me or provide some tips, send them my way). I enjoy listening to many types of music to include the top 40's, light jazz, techno, some country and rock. I like to cook up different flavors in the kitchen, but also can truly enjoy a good quality restaurant. Some of my hobbies in my spare time include attending festivals, perusing art shows, and learning to paint and draw. I like to be out and about, whether it be at sporting events, concerts, movies, museums, or traveling, so no couch potatoes allowed. Life has too much to offer to stay at home all the time and not experience things that are out there. If you're interested in enjoying what life has to offer with me, just let me know.

I love my home. I like to cook and bake. Enjoy my great grandchildren. Play games on my computer. Have 2 American Eskimo dogs (excellent watch dogs) Like seeing some good movies. I have gotten away from the things I used to do. Roller skate, Ice skate and dancing because my life partners were not into that. However I am a very versatile person. Do some of my handyman jobs around the house. I would like to meet someone who likes to meet a few times a week to enjoy some entertainment.

I love dancing (still hoping they'll make a sequel to You Got Served so I can audition this time). I love to cook and bake. I would prefer having people over for a home cooked meal, than spending the night at a club. Although, the night usually ends in a dance party, so if you're the clubbing type, then it's kind of a win-win. Life is all about balance and moderation, so I eat a ton of vegetables and then balance them out with homemade sweets. I have 45 first cousins, and the only family drama involves who plays the Angel Gabriel at our family Nativity reenactment. I think I'm finally up for the role this year--fingers crossed!...jk I am the granddaughter of a 101 year-old (who can probably still kick his leg higher than me.) I love shows like The Colbert Report [shed tear here for his old show], Parks and Rec, SNL, The Office, Brooklyn 99, and Blue Bloods (mainly because it is a great way to practice my Brooklyn accent...and detective skills). I made a personal goal to read 52 books this year (at this rate, I think I need to turn to AudioBooks for a little help, or at least count each story in James Joyce's "Dubliners" as a book.) I love finding a great coffee shop and bugging the baristas when I order a green tea. By the way, the coffee shop is considered great in my book if they have delicious chocolate chip cookies. Fewer things bring me more peace and comfort than daily mass or a beautiful faith reflection. I am a faithful Catholic because of the example of my family. My parents are the ultimate role models for how I want to love, live in God, and build a family. They brought us to mass weekly and made sure we knew what our faith meant, but far more importantly than that, they lived out their Catholicism. They always had an open house for people who needed a good meal, a laugh, and lots of love. They taught my sisters and me to have fun, focus on the family, dance (a lot), and that no matter what you were worried about, in God's hands it would be blessed. The arrival of my first nephew has taught me so much about trusting in God and letting go of what I cannot control. My faith makes me ask, "Should I worry about this issue in front of me, or should I place it in God's hands and figure out how to help others in this moment? Maybe the person in front of me needs me to drop my fear and give them a kind smile." I feel like I have been called to bring joy to others and I know that this desire is not my own, but God working through me.
