  • Ariane, 29 from BRUSSELS, BE
    29, BRUSSELS, BE
I'm a traditional Catholic who attends the Latin mass. I would describe myself as intellectual, passionate, conservative, sometimes quirky :-) I'm firmly attached to my Catholic principles, which guide as a Compas needle points to the true North. In my leisure time I enjoy reading (mostly non-fiction; philosophy, history, biographies, travel), listening to music (I can't play, sadly, but I'd love to take up the violin again, or else the piano), visiting museums and attending concerts, and spending time with friends, especially engrossed in a thought-provoking discussion about literature or current affairs or "Life". I love nature and really enjoy taking long walks in the forest or a park (although it's more fun with a walking companion, I think ;-) It's important to me to have an active and healthy lifestyle. And I don't watch TV :-) I'm not one for small talk.
  • Agne, 34 from Brussels, BE
    34, Brussels, BE
I am practising catholic so I would like to meet the man who shares the same values. I am ready to go with someone hand in hand and in common prayer while trying to understand God's plan to me and the person next to me and willing as much as possible to accomplish that plan. I'm dreaming so much about creating a catholic family; for me it's something sacred and I know it's my way to sanctity. I'm very sincere and honest person; down-to-earth but seeking for high objectives; believing in eternal love - not naively but while putting trust to God and knowing that with His help everything is possible. I'm working in one of EU institutions and enjoy living in Brussels. In recent years I was travelling a lot, from which the pilgrimages to IsreaeI, Turkey and Santjago de Compostela were the post memorable and changing my heart. I also used to dance and play the piano/guitar in the past so might be nice to share those hobbies with my would-be husband as well.

I'm from Spain, but I'm living in Belgium already two years because I work here. I'm imperfect. I'm a dreamer, I'm in love with the life. I'm not a complicate person and I think that I have a good heart. I'm a cheerful person, happy, I love to steal a smile of the people around me. I have lots of passions. I love travelling, reading, writting, cooking... But the best thing is that you dare to know me!

    36, Brussels, BE
I am a passionate person in general. I enjoy spending free time with my friends and family, listening to music, reading. I love nature, especially the mountains, I love playing tennis and discovering new places. Not a fan of internet dating, but I hope this site could be different than the others. Sure, I am looking for love, but even just making new friends would be great.
  • Rik, 47 from Liège, BE
    47, Liège, BE
I am a catholic in my intellect, soul, and heart who is eclectic in his activities and his interests. The harmonious integration of faith and science is a source of joy. Christ is the center of my life and I want to cooperate with His Grace. Love for neighbour flows from love for Christ. The two main but certainly not exclusive sports that I practice are cycling and mountain-biking. Both are complementary sports. Mountain-biking is highly technical and can entail extreme interval training. I like to search my limits but I have never put too much strain on my body in order to preserve my strength. Although these sports constitute for me basically playing with bikes, training is also self-discipline and helps to build mental and spiritual strength. The book that had the greatest impact on me at a very young age (about 10) was 'Brave New World'. More or less, it corresponds to a secular messianism. This is the radical antithesis of Catholic Faith. Because the promises of secular messianism are false, this leads to a society with extreme despair. Another book that had an impact on me later on was The Greatest Generation by Tom Brokaw because it is in essence the simple narrative of ordinary people who lived a decent life, a generation that still understood the meaning of sacrifice. What happened afterwards, has been very well exposed in 'The dream and the nightmare' by Myron Magnet. More recently, I was influenced by the book 'The rise and fall of modern medicine' by James Le Fanu. It is an excellent overview of the history of medicine and the author puts forward the hypothesis that the future of medicine is uncertain. What is true is that it is impossible to realise breakthroughs similarly as between 1945-1995. Progress is asymptotic. Which brings us to the fact that without God we are nothing as said already in the Old Testament Ecclesiastes 1:2: 'Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher; vanity of vanities, and everything is vanity'. We should see all our efforts in relation to God and in relation to the objective of this life, which is reach to heaven. My political view is: Christ is King of kings. I fully accept divine law and natural law. Positive law (this is a technical legal term, in reality negation of truth) with regard to same sex marriage, assisted suicide, abortion, indoctrination of children with the secularist agenda (UN, EU): to hell with it!! Gender ideology: to hell with it!! Economic views: subsidiarity principle, G.K. Chesterton.

I am from the United Kingdom, and have been living in Brussels for just over two years. I'm also a member of Rotaract, an international charity organisation which is involved in many different projects in the community and internationally. Otherwise I like meeting up with friends for drinks/meals/parties, watching films, reading books, going travelling...
