The whole online profile is a little awkward/intimidating for me, not really my style, but if I can meet likeminded people that shares the same beliefs and values then it's worth it. I joined Catholic Match to find someone that I can connect with in many different levels. To develop a chemistry and share experiences, similar ideologies, mutual interests and an appreciation for those subtle differences of one another. I recognize that honesty, integrity, communication, and becoming best friends is the foundation for building a solid relationship.

One of the things that makes me smile above all else, is the time I spend alone in the early mornings, saying my prayers, and then going outside and feed the vast array of little wild birds that come up to my patio and feed on the seeds and water I serve them. As I'm doing this, I mainly enjoy watching the sun come up in the mornings. I guess I'm a bit of an old fashioned romantic. But, I think that's a good trait to describe me. I've asked many of my friends to try to describe me in one or a few words? and here's the list; They said that I'm a loyal, tenacious, friend who would simply go to any extreme to help anyone. They also said that they enjoy it when I open a door, or hold a chair for them, as they are about to share a meal with me. As for myself, it has always been a pleasure to help and share when ever I can, (especially with a perfect stranger). Be it someone who is homeless, or just an elderly person who might just need some help crossing a street. My friends always seem to ask me, why I continue to do acts of kindness with no reward? I just laugh and respond by saying that, for me the reward of it all, is the look of compassion and thankfulness in there eyes. And finally, I try to tell them the story of when Jesus was giving his apostles one last commandment, during the last supper and he said "To love one another as you have loved me". I love to look at the expression in their faces when I finish that story, and they have that "Ah ha I get it!"! look on their faces....priceless!

Hello! I'm here to meet a sweet, like-minded woman to form a friendship which will, hopefully with God's help, bloom into a loving, life-long marriage. First and foremost, I am a conservative, traditional Roman Catholic. My faith is very important in my daily life. It contextualizes how I view myself and mankind's relationship to God. It anchors my sense of morality as modern society seems to rapidly decay around us. I always try to view situations from a Catholic perspective before anything else. Through constant prayer and study I try to improve myself to become a better Catholic. I attend Mass regularly every Sunday and on holy days of obligation. Personality-wise, I'm fairly reserved and polite, but playful and friendly after getting to know someone better. Most of the time I'm mellow and prefer to live simply. I seldom use smartphones and never use social media like Facebook. In my leisure time I enjoy relaxing at home, just being with my family, playing with my pets, reading history and collecting books. Another hobby of mine is historical reenactment as I'm a member of 2 groups who are dedicated to reenacting life from the period of ancient Rome. Basically, as a single man, I'm a homebody and generally dislike large crowds and noisy places, but I like going to restaurants, beaches, museums, and amusement parks. I enjoy kayaking and horseback riding, too. In regard to US American politics, my political views are very conservative and I vote Republican, because their party's platform aligns with Catholic teaching on the most important issues, such as, supporting traditional marriage and the pro-life movement. I believe the Democratic party's platform is manifestly satanic in that it marginalizes Christianity, advocates abortion rights, seeks to mainstream all types of deviant sexual behavior, perverts the institution of marriage, espouses socialism and secularism, and fosters interracial and social strife. Needless to say, I'd rather not consort with American Catholics who identify as Democrats, liberals or moderates since their views are diametrically opposed to my values which are firmly rooted in the Catholic faith. Catholics who support Democrats are deeply malformed in their faith and need to realize the gravity of their error, because "No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other: or he will sustain the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." (Matthew 6:24)

Hi I'm Liz. I'd describe myself as a traditional, loyal, and genuine person. I'm a huge SF Giants fan and I enjoy watching and going to games. I'm looking to connect with like minded people and to gain wisdom to help me on my journey through life. My faith and maintaining a good relationship with God are important to me, but I've found that it's hard to come by people who share the same values and priorities. That's really what led me to this site.
