The photo is with my daughter and son-in-law's dog, Willy. I like dogs and cats, but don't have any pets of my own. We all have a story that brought us here, dont we? Mine includes a 50+ marriage to a wonderful man who died of cancer, two children with kids of their own and a wide range of interests. Fortunately for me, my family enjoys my company; I make them laugh, usually because I mispronounce or misunderstand something, and my self-effacing sense of humor makes them smile.
Still, I miss the comforts of a relationship. Im usually up for anything new: Opera, ballet, fishing, poker, theater, you name it, Ill try it! I keep myself fit, healthy and attractive and I enjoy making sure that my partner is well fed and taken care of.
Life is better with chocolate, pasta, Korean and Vietnamese food, prime rib at the Whaling Station in Monterey, coffee, jazz, classic rock, soul, Tony Bennett (I saw him from the first rowhe was incredible!) and time spent outdoors. I like to sit outside and read. I enjoy the beautiful flowers at my daughters house, and think its very tranquil. I also like spin class, hiking and walking, window shopping and cooking. I love to dance, swim and deep sea fish. Going to concerts, baseball games, an Opera - I've enjoyed all the opportunities to discover or rediscover experiences to enjoy.
I am a romantic, and I make the effort to bring romance into a relationship. I am generous, nurturing, energetic and happy, though at first glance I often seem to be quiet and shy. I am curious, playful, devoted to family and spend as much time in the Bay Area and Atherton as I do in Marina.
