This is the first time I'm trying this per my student's suggestion. Sometimes I'm shy and usually when I get to know the person I'm more outgoing and fun. I like to spend time with family and friends. I like to try different kinds of foods, watch TV shows, movies, exercise, dance, travel, go to workshops, conferences, shopping, going out to new places even if it's just a small picturesque place, take pictures, I love to see the sunset, flowers, nature, walk on the beach. I like to learn new things, places, people, learn to take care of the environment, and improve every day. The most influential people in my life are my mother, a few teachers, friends, family members, Pope John Paul II.

I really enjoy what I do for a living and find it extremely gratifying when I'm able to make a positive impact in someone else's life (whether it be at work or outside of work). I looked into several other careers before ending up in Psychiatry including the Roman Catholic priesthood (no one had told me ahead of time that you couldn't get married . . . : ), teaching high school math, and selling used cars. Trying to find my dream career has had me living in Mexico, Boston, New York City, Washington, DC, Miami, Tampa, and Ohio. I would like to see the world before this life ends. I've been fortunate enough so far to have travelled through parts of the US, Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Hawaii, and Europe. As far as searching for my other half goes, I was raised to appreciate women and to treat them well. A wife and mother's role in a family in an extremely important one and she should be cherished. What I have to offer in a relationship includes that I am giving, honest, open-minded, reliable, faithful, hard-working, good-hearted, family-oriented, outgoing, and I have a sense of humor (a good one most of the time, or at least I think so). My ideal partner would be intelligent, sensibile, resilient, independent, good hearted, family oriented, physically active, and being adventurous wouldn't hurt either. I enjoy kayaking, biking, rollerblading, running, and travelling. Some of my most memorable adventures include hiking up Mt Whitney (highest point in the lower 48 states, 14,500 feet) and biking up the highest point in Maui (10,000 feet).I have 1 cat and I adhere to a strict 1 cat limit for myself. I have had a dog and would really like to have a dog (or dogs) in the future.

Hi. Thank you for reading my profile. I do believe that What we are is God's gift to us. And what we become is our gift to God. Im a devout Catholic. I believe that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6) . Im shy when im with new people but feels comfortable as I know them more. I consider myself simple but conservative. I love outdoor activities like walking in the park, watch sunset at the beach , watch baseball game ( Im a Padres fan), play bowling, and sometimes, I just love to drive around. Most of the time, I spend my free time reading books and inspiring verses. I love to listen to love songs, gospel songs, worship songs, jazz music , and instrumentals. My favorite christian singers are the Maranatha singers ,Hillsong and the CFC Music Ministry choir.. I too love the Josh Groban version of "You Raise Me Up" song. It's a very inspiring song that every lyric of it lifts my spirit to the max. Weekends goes by quickly for me as I am occupied with certain activities. I spend Saturday doing my personal errands, shopping, chores, spend time with fam and friends, walking and its my movie day. On Sundays, I do my religious obligation to God, attend mass and offer my singing voice to God as member of the church choir. I really love to sing. Having been a member of a religious Community that spread the words of God and do evangelization work to help bring others to God, I attend prayer group meetings with a group of women on Sunday afternoon. Once in a while, do community service to help the needy. On weekdays, I focus on my livelihood , and do church choir practice after work on Monday evenings.

Everyone needs time to reset. Ive reset. I have two amazing children and that is where my life begins - That is where I find my center. I have room in my life for someone other than my sweet children. But, she would have to have their angelic spirit - not that I expect anyone to be perfect. But - like John Legend writes - perfect imperfection - is a nice contradiction to live with. I do a lot in my life. I teach, coach, parent, write, lead, create, innovate, and dream and act to construct a better world - a world that doesnt live in fear and low expectations, but is, by nature, optimistic, kind, and powerful. I have a lot of empathy for others, and although that may be challenging from time to time, I know it is a gift. We need more empathy. I want my children to know and experience the world from an empathetic perspective. I care deeply about experience. I dont like spending money on materialistic possessions, but I will charter a boat for my daughters first fishing experience and not remember to ask how much it costs. I feel like this perspective about the value of experiences is like a special secret (or life hack) I have about life that brings a smile to my face :) I notice the world around me, especially people and the ones I care about. I see hidden laughter and subtle smiles. I see humble dispositions. I see the opposite too. I see learning; and like kindness, it takes my breath away. Im a romantic. I enjoy knowing what makes a woman smile, blush, and more. Its not a formula or a technique - its understanding what she is feeling, thinking, wanting - knowing what she enjoys and what makes her laugh. I know that relationships are not easy. I also know that they should not be that hard either. Whatever happens, it will take time. Answers will not come overnight. I believe in the words of my native friends who say that you must know a woman for all seasons before you really know her. Is is not my intention to impress you. Im simply writing these words to say a little bit about who I am. And, if my words strike a chord, perhaps we will have the opportunity to get to know each other. Wishing you a good life; one with lots of love.

I love theater, reading at mass, walks or bike rides ending in a coffee or breakfast, traveling around Europe and North America. I look forward to winning my civil suit in federal court. (Long story). Okay, influential people in my life? Absolutely my parents and grandparents (God rest their souls), my late priest back in Minnesota, my best and dearest friends - even an ex- fiance! But, to be truthful, probably my late husband. In my leisure time I like to go up to my cabin in the mountains and hike around the lake, make a fire in the fireplace and watch a good classic movie like "Dr. Zhivago". It's best if snow is gently falling
