64, Cupertino, CAI am a secure, independent woman living alone with my devoted yellow lab. I enjoy spending time with friends, Giants baseball, reading, gardening and spending time at Tahoe. I have forgotten how to dream and am working on that right now. I would like to have a companion to share my thoughts and good times with. My faith is important to me.
29, Cupertino, CAIn my spare time, I like to read and cook, and sometimes play music. I like spending time outdoors except when I forget sunscreen. My beard varies according to the seasons, shorter in the summer and longer in the winter, and my sense of humor tends to be dry and subtle with the occasional pun. Over time, I've gone back and forth between reading, audiobooks, and TV shows, but I especially like fantasy and sci-fi with richly-developed characters. Some recent favorites are Jim Butcher, Patrick Rothfuss, and Patricia Briggs -- Robert Jordan, Robin Hobb, and Garth Nix's Abhorsen trilogy are some old favorites. If I'm in the kitchen, I'm probably making bread or stew. A dark, dense, sourdough rye is one of my favorites, as is soup made from whatever needs to be used up from the fridge. It's fun to take something simple like flour or fruit or cabbage, and give it some time and love and attention to end up with bread or wine or sauerkraut.
75, Cupertino, CAMy parents, sister, aunts and uncles, cousins, grandparents were Catholic. I was married to a non-Catholic, divorced. We have three grown sons, three grandchildren. My sons were raised Catholic but are non-practicing Catholics. After graduating from high school I attended a private women's two yr. college and received an AA in Communication. After 10 years of marriage I returned to college earning a BS in Interior Design. I found my passion. I taught at San Jose State University for four years, until the government funding stopped for the BS program which became a BA. At that time the part time instructors did not return to teach. I have been in private practice working for W&J Sloane and Ethan Allen, including my own business for many years! I was in a non-Catholic long term relationship and am ready for another long term relationship, hopefully with a Catholic who is a ballroom dancer. Ballroom dancing is not a requirement for my sweetie.I prefer men with a clean shaved face, slender, college educated, professional, who enjoy travelling and seeing historical sights. My requirement is trust, fidelity, warm, loving, handholding and definitely communicative and a like and appreciation for similar things. I do not like camping or travellling in an RV. If the Lord choses distance for us, so be it. He knows best!
54, Cupertino, CAI have been divorced for over 19 years and busy raising three children by myself without any help from my ex-husband. With my last child in college, I now have time to meet new people and re-discover who I am and what I like to do. I am looking to date and have some fun. I like going to the movies, going to dinner, hiking, cooking, country music, concerts, dancing, working out, drinking beer, girls night out and being with friends and family. My grown children are wonderful, hardworking, educated and spiritual adults and I love them very much. I have done my job and they are well on their way to leading their own lives. My faith is very important to me. I attend mass weekly, teach CCD to second graders, want to join a bible study group, trust God in all areas of my life and know the value of prayer. I am looking for someone who is faith filled and a practicing Catholic. I want to date on the weekends (so if you only have Wed & Thurs open...don't send me an emotiongram). I am not into long distance relationships...sorry for those not in California. I am looking for a man who is honest (if you have lied on your profile about your age, occupation or height, please don't contact me), easy-going (no drama), fun-loving (if you want to stay home and watch TV every weekend...I am not the right woman for you), adventurous (I am not going to ever go bungee jumping or sky diving but there are places and things I want to see and explore), and kind. I am excited about the next phase of my life and I am looking for someone to share it with. Thanks for reading my profile. -Mary
