57, Bakersfield, CALived in various parts of the US: Hawaii, California, Florida, Montana, and Wyoming. Traveled to Thailand, Turkey, Egypt, Kuwait, and Colombia. I like to cycle, play bridge, water sports, travel, bird hunt, and hike. I like to read and specially enjoy conversation with friends in a social setting of a home or over a cup of coffee. At this point in my life, I have done enough wining and dining in restaurants that I really do not consider it a special venue. I cherish conversations with my long term friends, parents, and sibilings. I am always willing to give a hand up and not a hand out. I would like some one to share in these activities and with a balanced perspective of short and deferred gratification in life.
77, Tehachapi, CAAm a windaholic and hug wind turbines via the Internet. It keeps me young. My business website and its humor are seen everywhere. Being tied closely to someone would be fun. Nec amor nec tussis celatur. Neither love nor a cough can be hidden. Lord, our Rock, our Fortress, our Deliverer! Exercise daily by bicycling with God! Two kids on the East Coast. Bless whoever you are reading this(!).
34, Bakersfield, CAI'll keep this simple: I moved back to my hometown about a year ago, had been living in Columbus, OH since 2003, and deployed to Afghanistan in Fall 2010. (Still in the Marines) I enjoy being with my friends, especially the ones who challenge me in my daily life to live life embracing God's love, whether in good times or bad... and to appreciate the bad times even more because those are the times you walk closest with God. I love C.S. Lewis's writings, and share daily with my friends positive messages, some being from him... To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable. C.S. Lewis, The Four LovesI guess that's enough for now.
32, Los Banos, CAHello everyone! My name is Jacey, an optimistic special ed school teacher who is looking to do God's will. I tend to have a playful sense of humor and usually look for the good in those that I encounter on this road to eternity. Activities I enjoy are listening to music, going to museums, seeing art, jumping in mud puddles, hiking (although a little out of practice), the beach, outdoors in general and anything in which I learn something new. My goal in life is to nurture the human spirit in every child that I teach, leading them to find their own path to Heaven. I would like to teach for a few more years and then have a family of my own (God willing ( : ). I grew up praying the family rosary every night and would like to continue some sort of daily prayer with my own future family. I would be open to teaching after the children have reached school age, however, I make plans and God laughs: ) My ideal first date can be something as simple as a walk through the park or as adventurous as indoor skydiving (a goal for this summer, it is only 15 feet off the ground, look it up?). On this website I hope to find someone that will help me on our journey to heaven, whether as a friend or as a spouse. Feel free to shoot me a message and I hope all of you have a truly wonderfully blessed day!

36, Fresno, CAI teach kindergarten through sixth grade special education. I work with some incredible students and enjoy what I do very much. I feel like I was called to special education; each day is an adventure. I am currently in the Masters program and working on my thesis. I am hoping to earn my administrative credential as well in order to go into the program specialist position My Grandfather was the most influential person in my life he taught me to look for the good in others, to forgive those that hurt me, and to pursue my education. 27, Bakersfield, CAMy family and friends would say I'm goofy, funny, compassionate, loving, and have a huge heart. I love to laugh, dance, sing (although I'm by no means good, I still enjoy making up my own lyrics now and then) playing sports, traveling, reading, learning to play guitar, and just relaxing... I love having a faith filled life (church on Sundays and volunteering with youth ministry) and so I am seeking someone who enjoys to give of his time and talents as well. I admit that I'd never ever thought I'd be someone to go on a site like this to meet someone but hey what if it works? I'm just ready to meet a down to earth man, who believes that chivalry is not dead, loves God, his family and friends, and who is ready to share his life with someone special.
26, Bishop, CAI am most passionate about following Christ's footsteps as far as being humble. And I look forward to following His will among other things even if that means to carry my cross and to embrace suffering to achieve it. But also, I LOVE History American, World, and others. Though, I haven't pursued it yet...I have a passion for wanting to have a family and being married most importantly. I like to write poems when I have free time. Acrostics, Ballads, Haikus, Sonnets, and others...And I like to play the drums .
