Life is for loving and adventure! I'm basically dedicated and loyal to family, friends, faith and profession. My favorite activities are hiking, gardening, travel, reading, movies, dancing, touring historical sites, camping, board and card games, and just hanging out with friends and family cooking favorite foods. I enjoy both rolling up my sleeves to take on projects as well as fun and formal times out on the town. My faith is very important. For me, it is the source of the spirit of life, it's a joy and freedom. Serving on committees and volunteering in my church and community are just a natural extention of myself and also provides me with a well rounded life. My profession is in has taken me near and far over the years. I like to prepare healthy foods, this along with regular walking and Jazzercise for exercise have kept me in good shape in both body and mind. I'm basically a spontanious, generous, financially secure, educated person who enjoys both the simple things of life: evenings at home, laughter, friends; and some special events as well. I enjoy people, so go ahead and message me!

There are 2 directions in my life. As a child I loved to dream of the direction my life would head. Then the other direction is reality and the direction my life has really gone. Nowhere do these 2 directions intersect or even proceed in parallel. I was a spoiled overprotective little kid that only had a firm grip of my Catholic faith. Was I street wise? No! As I grew up I ran into every pot hole, fell for every trick and believed every lie. As I grew up so did the extent of life's complications that were thrown my way. My parents who know me the best really can't believe the adversity I have survived. I realize that my shoulders are expandable and have not reached their full size. The one constant is I still believe in God and am a practicing Catholic. For the last 10-12 years I have concentrated on making my life simple and quiet. I make myself available to my parents whenever they need me, ( my father just died). I make myself available to people in my life who are in need. I love to help people whose need is honest hoping that my positive impact will make them better Christians. Enough of the heavy. I have owned my own pizza shop for 5 years now. The part of the business I enjoy most is working with the staff. They are all young, smart, intelligent and full of energy. They make work exciting. Than God because I work 8 days a week. All my life I have been involved in sports. Sailboat racing, snow skiing, ballroom dancing, roller hockey, baseball, football, dirt bike racing are the sports where I have logged in the most time. Although my body is still quite capable of this kind of activity, personal finances and good practical sense keep me in the pizza shop. I am interested in seeking friendship and with church sanctification, possible a more serious relationship.

I have lived in Templeton for 28 years and love it. I am a retired Civil Engineer. I enjoy traveling in my RV. The important thing about traveling is spending quality time with my mate. The small walnut orchard that I have helps keep me in physical shape as I do most of the labor myself. I feel all of these things would be much better with someone special to share them with.. The important things that I am looking for is a active catholic and as a couple we can develop meaningful prayer time and deep communication.

My faith in God and in His Word joyfully govern my life. I was happily married for 27 yrs. to my best friend who I lost to Cancer 9 yrs ago. It took me a while to get over that loss and was a time of deep sadness, but I have come out stronger and am happy now with my life and know who I am. I do not need a man to complete me or to make me happy but I am open to having someone to do things with. I am an introvert but can rise to the occasion of being outgoing when situations call for it. I love to learn and am curious about so many things such as science, geology, physics, art, music, how things work, and on and on. I really enjoy TED talks, Nova, History, etc. I love music and enjoy a wide variety of genre's. Do not like hard rock or noisy jazz. Some favorites are Folk, classical, light opera, 30's - 70's. I am on my 4th rescue dog and have a beautiful 11 yr old Collie/Shepherd mix. My favorite place to be is on the coast, preferably where there are rocks for the crashing waves. I enjoy traveling in the U.S. as long as it does not involve hot climates. My favorite coastal area is The Monterey Bay. I think the West Coast from Cambria up to Vancouver, Canada is the most beautiful and contemplative areas. I may add more later....
