56, Monterey, CAI believe their is a formula to obtain the keys to a successful relationship. Yes, it must begin with friendship, I think we are all agreed on that, but when the time comes to bump it up a notch, the commitment are not just words. I've recently read that two people must have the other in thoughts, words and actions. That means in everything you do, say, and think--with your partner in mind!! Now that's commitment. I first thought it to be extreme at first, but the more I thought about it, the more sense it made. Just one more ingredient to that and your ready--Think, say, and do with God and Jesus Christ in mind also. I am an easy-going gentleman that values honesty and integrity and is a bit old fashioned. You'lI get fresh flowers every week. The door will always be opened for you.You will always walk next to me on the opposite side of the traffic down the street. (Remember that one??). No drama here, just what you need in a great partner and friend. I am mostly an outdoors and active person and can make Henry Kissinger laugh. (how old do you have to be to remember him?) Im a passionate and caring person who can never turn down a request for help or anyone asking for money on a street corner. I also give to local food banks and try to be directly involved in charities rather than just sending money.I'm diversified---can go to the opera or the ballgame. From camping at Big Sur one day to Pebble Beach the next, its all on the menu.I thank God for all the blessings he has given me including my two grown daughters. Both being in college, I have time on my hands now that I haven't had for a while. Couldn't have gotten through life's challenges without the catholic church. I have many good things to offer the right person including companionship and that commitment I was talking about.
29, San Luis Obispo, CAI am an aspiring sports broadcaster, and i also substitute teach k-12. I absolutely love kids, i love seeing them have a smile on their face by the end of the school day and helping them to succeed. I love to travel with my family, i love the outdoors: going to the beach, camping, fishing, hiking, jet skiing, kayaking and finding new things to do. I also love country music as well as line dancing on Thursday nights. I love covering all types of sports, this past year I won a Regional Emmy for Best Newscast for the coverage of a fire in San Luis Obispo. I also being able to sit down to relax to watch a game, movies, or read a book. 67, Pacific Grove, CAHello! If you are a gentleman who is loving, humorous and curious, I hope to meet you! For me, everything else falls into place after that - with compromise and sharing. I was adopted by wonderful parents into a large busy family. My career stunned my parents and me. I always wrote, but I became a political researcher/speech writer State, Federal - both houses and a VP. Then I met an accident which changed my experience. Today I tudor and write mostly biographies for families. It is fun and keeps me busy while I study how duc tape and bailing wire can be used to keep things together. Stunning ideas! Women totally miss out in this area! Carol Ann
43, Grover Beach, CAI love life! The most fun times I have in life are often the simplest - time at church, laughing till you cry, fun dinner and wine with friends, eating tomatoes just picked from the garden, going hiking and smelling the crisp fall air, dancing, and so much more! I have been very blessed with a warm and loving family and a career teaching and doing research that I love. Teaching is a great job. There's nothing like having 60 twenty-year old students waiting for you teach them to get the adrenaline flowing; its a little like getting paid to do performance art. I love a wide mix of things - I love to go dancing, but I also love college football and basketball. I love gourmet food, but when the mood strikes, there's nothing like a fast food cheeseburger. I love geeking out over my job, but I also love doing things that make me completely forget about work. I'd love to meet someone who loves life and loves to laugh, who loves God, and is excited and passionate about their own work and hobbies!
32, Santa Cruz, CAGreeting to you all, My name is JC. I work full time about 55 hours week as a boiler mechanic/ metal fabricator. My goal is to someday have my own condo or house. I attend mass every Sunday and try to volunteer in our local Christian community. My priorities in life are: family, religion, health, and my career. 77, Pacific Grove, CAI enjoy traveling with friends and relatives most of the times. I also spend a lot of times visiting my grandchildren, brothers and sisters here and abroad. 32, Arroyo Grande, CAIf you are looking for a nice guy that you can settle down with... that's not me. If you are looking for a good man who will lead his family and actively work to raise a large family of saints with you, then I just might be what you are looking for. A nice guy is someone who bows to the whims of others. He is agreeable just for the sake of being agreeable. He never corrects someone, even when the situation calls for it. A nice guy never makes a scene. When the time comes, he will buckle rather than defend what is right and just. He is dependable... except when you need him the most. Most of all, a nice guy is just that, a nice guy. He is not a man at all, much less one confident in his masculinity. A good man is someone who stands up for what is right. He is unafraid to speak his mind, and will do what needs to be done. The good man will rebuke others when it is called for, and sticks up for them when they need him the most. He is someone who will upend the carts of the money lenders and drive away the animal peddlers. He is strong, confident, and assertive. Most of all, a good man is a man. He is comfortable in his masculinity and unapologetic about it. If you want someone whom you can boss around and look down on, or someone who will bend over backwards to try and make you happy, even at the cost of aiding or abetting sin, or someone who will always try and placate your feelings and bow to their every whim, then I am not the man for you. On the other hand, if you want someone who will lead your family with strength, confidence and love, someone who cares about your spiritual well-being as much as your physical or emotional well-being, and someone who will be a rock to whom you can cling to weather the storms of life, then I am the man for you. I am a man striving towards holiness; one who aims to emulate the righteous men of sacred scripture and tradition. I am a leader, someone who will lead his family in a firm but fair way. I am kind and compassionate, but also strong and driven. With me you can endure the trials of life, secure in the knowledge that I will always be there for you. I'm a serious person, and I recognize that marriage is a lot of work- and raising children even more so. But I also believe that it can and should be fun. St. Paul said that we should rejoice always, and so I intend to seek as much joy in marriage as there is to be found. Speaking of joy, I should mention that I finding good natured teasing to be especially enjoyable.
