I'm too blessed to be stressed!..Easy going, fun-loving, pretty much happy with everything in life..I'm spontaneous, slightly ambitious, can be quiet or very mischevious (depending on the company) I can participate in an interesting conversation or get bored and doze off at a boring one, practical most times.... I'm blessed being born and raised Catholic..I love my faith,.. I come from a very close knit & a large n loud family of 8 kids, sometimes we disagree with each other & argue;p..we respect other's values and principles...I have some of my own too. Well....On CM, to find a Catholic husband who's Mr.Lovable-Mr.Right-Soulmate! & Life's best friend.. I like reading, singing, dancing, cooking, baking, sleeping, walking, just being myself is what I'm mostly...Pies, cakes, cookies, sweet-treats, spicy foods are what I love.. i do enjoy nice wine, listening to soft rock or 106.7 litefm, KLove & I heart radio....eating out, taking long walks, spending time with family & friends ....there's more to me...If you'd want to know more write to me..;-) All the best! Stay blessed...not stressed.. p.s.: I was born and brought up in Bombay
  • Samara, 33 from Oceanside, CA
    33, Oceanside, CA
My name is Samara and I'm most passionate about my Catholic faith and my family. The most influential person in my life is my Mom, because she worked two jobs, raised four girls and always made time to be there to support us. I enjoy hiking, writing, reading, going to church, volunteering, listening to music, and going to dinner with my friends.
  • Lynn, 56 from San Diego, CA
    56, San Diego, CA
    > I was born in Vietnam but moved to the U.S. in 1975. San Diego, California is my home and Washington DC is my home away from home, where my daughter lives and I spend several months out of a year with her. I travel as often as the opportunity arises. I am down to earth, and always am looking at things with the glass half full. I am very patient and even tempered. Tennis is my passion and dancing is a stress release for me. I am a God fearing woman and prefer to marry a Catholic man. I treasure my family and friendships; I expect a lot from myself and appreciate what others have done for me. I took an early retirement from the Defense Contract Audit Agency after 28 years in service as an Auditor. Retirement at a young age allows me to have the resources and the health to travel. Life is good, I like what I have and want to share it with that special someone.

I worked for quite a while trying to come up with the perfect 'Introduction' for this thing. When I finished, I went back and re-read it and figured I had some 'pretty good stuff' written here. So I saved it, logged off and went to bed. I found myself in the craziest dream I've ever had. It was so startling in fact that it actually woke me up! And as I was sitting there on the bed shaking my head, the thought occurred to me that if my subconscious was so screwed up, that I couldn't even have a dream that made any sense, my awake life must be equally messed up too. So I got back up, in the middle of the night, logged back on the site here, and re-read my introduction... only this time I didn't see any 'pretty good stuff'. What I saw was a bunch of arrogant BS that said little, if anything about the real me. So I deleted it, et al. (That's lawyer-speak for "totally".) I'm your basic mess. Not "totally", but a good 85%s worth, at least right now anyway. Go figure... I'm thousands of miles away from everything I ever really knew, alone in a new city where I don't really know anyone, essentially on a 'fixed low-income', almost "old", and for medical reasons... I don't drive or own a vehicle. That alone will mess up anybodys mind a bit. Top it off with- although I think I'm a fun person to be with, I have zero social life (probably due to the car thing) and the whole mess adds up to mild depression. But again, lets be real here... In person, to some, I might seem an alluring catch - but I don't condone jumping over fences in the dark. One might find themself landing in a briar patch. It can be a real pain in the 'you-know-what' getting out of the thing! Sure, I'd like to have my life back, start over again here in the land of sun and fun, but at my age and with my health issues I would imagine that I'd have about the same odds of finding true love and starting over again I would for winning the Publishers Sweepstake prize. But being relentless, I came up with this brilliant plan... (drum roll) ta-dah - Catholic Match! The rest we can figure out along the way and you know what... you just might like what you find afterall. {:~) Hi, my name is Bill

  • Chris, 30 from Carlsbad, CA
    30, Carlsbad, CA
Hi there! My name is Chris. I guess you could say I am passionate about people; I am preparing to take the GRE's and enter a masters program in social work, where I eventually want to either be a family counselor or marriage counselor. I guess you could say I am more 'alive' when I am helping people through difficult times in their lives or just need someone to listen to. In the mean time though, I'm currently an auditor working in medical billing.

  • Jana, 60 from San Marcos, CA
    60, San Marcos, CA
This late baby boomer is looking for a relationship and someone to share my life; and chemistry, who makes me laugh, and I, him, is important. Looking for someone with financial security, as I must work to keep food on the table, but do, thank goodness, enjoy my career! I am practical, but at the same time will splurge on personalized license plates. Lately, I've learned the art of fermentation; and to brew Kombucha and Water Kefir. I enjoy the California sun and going on camping adventures. At the same time, I enjoy art museums. One of my favorite places is staying at Hilton Checkers in downtown LA and seeing a play at the Music Center; or visiting the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. If what I have to say peaks your interest, let me know about you. . .
  • Jeffrey, 27 from San Diego, CA
    27, San Diego, CA
Born and raised in San Diego. Went away to the Midwest for College. Had the time of my life there, but San Diego's always been home and it's hard to say no to this great weather. Ended up coming back a few years ago and now working in Finance. I grew up with sports so football and lacrosse are always something I try to keep tabs on. I like to travel, golf, try new things, and just explore different cities that I haven't been to.

  • Patrick, 24 from San Diego, CA
    24, San Diego, CA
I'm a JD/MBA student at the University of San Diego, focusing on International Law and Business. While this comes across as studious (and perhaps a bit boring!) I've lived a full life trying out different paths before I ended up here. I originally planned to move to NYC from San Diego to pursue theater professionally. I ended up in New York, but at a Jesuit University (Fordham) studying Classics (Greco-Roman languages, literature, and history) and next thought I wanted to be an archaeologist after two summers spent abroad in Rome. After undergrad I moved back to my hometown of San Diego, took a gap year, and ended up applying to law school because I had determined that what I wanted most in this life was the freedom and opportunity to travel for work and for pleasure. I've since added an MBA, and have made it to Great Britain, Mexico, and China in the past 9 months. Mission accomplished! Still, my love for experiencing new cultures, languages, and food has me working on my next travel opportunity already. Meaningful life experiences obviously include all the countries I've been to (9 and counting), living and going to school in Manhattan, and having the experience of living in San Diego both as a child and as an adult. My mother has been the most influential person in my life, but my group of friends (5) from high school take a close second. I've been friends with them since 7th grade, and although we're somewhat dispersed across the country, one of them is actually a current roommate. While I don't have all that much free time as a full time grad student, I do enjoy reading, Netflix, driving around and exploring San Diego, and meeting up at a bar or microbrewery in my free time. Love the beach, but I don't go enough, and I would definitely like a match that could motivate me to be out and active more often (camping, hiking, etc.)
