34, San Jose, CAHi! I'm Liz. I'm an RN and I work in the Pediatric ICU. I'm generally a very joyful, easy-going person. I love my family. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate the gift of God's grace, mercy and love. I have a highly developed sense of the ridiculous, so I have a tendency to find the humor or the upside of almost any situation. I also have a tendency to quote random movies, and finish long rambling stories with, "And then I found 5 dollars."
31, San Jose, CAI am goofy, sarcastic, weird, random. I enjoy eating good food and drinking red wine. I like reading, R&B music, and most of the time hanging back at home watching TV (haha). I currently work full time in a retail store, I work like crazy, sometimes working six days a week. I went to community college and a CSU both getting my AA and BA degrees. I did liberal arts in community college with an emphasis on social & behavioral sciences/criminal justice. At the CSU I minored in sociology/criminology and majored in Humanities with an emphasis on American Studies. I love learning about our world and society. I am really into social science. My plan is to keep doing internships/volunteer work while working the retail job to build up experience and a track record.
33, Palo Alto, CASeeking wife to limit my tax liability and generate deductions (i.e. have children). Of course, I'm (mostly) joking. I often spend my free time doing DIY projects (I like fixing things), reading, or relaxing to a good TV show or film. I've been looking to get outdoors more often, so I recently began surfing. I also like to golf and play tennis. I'm blessed to come from a large, loving Catholic family. I hope to have my own large, loud family someday.
29, Mountain View, CATraditional catholic looking for a partner in crime of live. Spent years taking care of liturgy (both new and TLM) but now retired. In free time reads books, watch TV series and take photos.
33, Los Gatos, CAHi, I'm Gabriel. I'd say that my qualities are that I am thoughtful, intelligent, and considerate. I moved to the bay area to attend Stanford and get my degree in Electrical Engineering (which is sort of like computer science but more math-y), and since then I've been working here in tech in research and development for improving cameras. Right now I am working at Apple in their technology development group (i.e., again, cameras). I grew up not far from here, in Grass Valley, CA, which is a small town, where people are pretty nice. It was a fairly rural upbringing, and so I can appreciate peace and quiet, and wide open spaces. I'd say I've accomplished a lot so far in terms of school and work, so I am generally pretty content with life. My main hobbies are soccer, and salsa/mambo dancing. I actually somehow found my way into a salsa/mambo dance group at some point in my twenties, and have kept that up for a few years, so I am actually pretty good at it. My bachata is a bit questionable, but I would like to learn more about it : ). So, if you like to dance, that is a plus, but not really necessary in my book. Besides athletic hobbies, I like reading novels, watching movies (currently catching up on the show Game of Thrones... I already read all the books, but still haven't watched the show), and also general self-improvement. For example, I am taking some certifications on Coursera to round out my knowledge of machine learning and data science. I am also part of a "39 day abs challenge" which promises to "turn my love handles into lust handles". I played soccer in high school for all four years, and through much of my youth. Lately I've been fixing my own car instead of taking it to the mechanic. So I have always been pretty athletic and interested in staying active, but I have a lot of intellectual pursuits as well, and try to pick up new skills all the time. I'd say I'm a pretty well-rounded individual, or at least working towards being one.
32, San Jose, CAHello Everybody! I live in San Jose, CA. I work as a mechanical engineer. For leisure I like to read(science fiction mainly), watch movies, and occasionally go bowling. I've attended Mass every Sunday since I was a baby (I'm 32 years old now). I'd say I have a dry sense of humor.
34, Santa Clara, CAI spent a week with twenty 20-30 somethings from around the world in Iceland recently. It changed my perspective on life through the conversations I had with others there, and I'd like to give you some original advice you will not hear anywhere... Want to live a charmed life? I have news...You. Are. Already. Living. It. Open the floodgates of your life. Offline. In vivid descriptive fashion. You'll be surprised to learn how remarkable you are. Can we build a remarkable life together? Through my work and ongoing charmed life I have grown into to an excellent public speaker, vivid storyteller, and quirky slapstick family friendly comedian. I'd love to drink French whiskey served straight up (not on the rocks or neat) with you and truly listen to who you are. So, about me, and why you should date me. I work in a quantitative field, so quantitative I will be: 1. Originally a southern gentleman from Nashville, I've lived in Silicon Valley for 8 years as the face of computational math tools. However, I still have southern sensibilities - I put women on a pedestal. I also work on a 50 50 partnership with relationship give and take. I make a terrific mint julep and bar-tend a Kentucky derby party every year in full seersucker. 2. My love language is acts. I show people I care with cool gestures of genuine thanks. 3. I will be a good spiritual leader of the family having a scholarly background in the faith, going to top private catholic schools K-12. I'm fascinated by Vatican lore and mystique. 4. I make each day an adventure and come up with fantastic unforgettable dates. I have the pulse of arts, music, and culture in my area, and I'm plugged into all the best events. 5. I will be a family provider. I'm extremely well established for my age with investment properties, cars, businesses, side projects, and I'm on track to being a house+land owner in Silicon Valley (you have to make that distinction around here) with my future wife. 6. I bring much to the table for future children to learn from. I went to the best schools in the country with a top math background. I've also played basketball for 20 years and would love to coach. I'll also coach science fairs if need be!
24, San Jose, CAI love all things outdoors and country music. Passions include a good book, great coffee and somewhere outside. Currently, thinking about getting a dog. I am a chronic morning person, a traffic jam singer and a lover of all things bacon. I have two half brothers who are 7 and 2 and live back in Michigan. I try to see them as much as possible. (They are the two little ones in one of my pictures.)
24, San Jose, CAI love hiking, the outdoors, traveling, and am a huge sports fan. While in college, I got into the craft beer scene and, as a result, enjoy visiting local breweries and trying a good stout, porter or brown ale. In addition, I love reading - for professional development, spiritual development, and just for fun. I appreciate all types of literature and love some good prose! I really enjoy documentaries, biographies, investigative works, and those exploring the natural world. Work-wise, I currently work in consulting and travel regularly for work. I pour a lot of time and effort into my personal and professional development. I'm very motivated to perform high quality work and am very collaborative with my coworkers, many of whom I learn from daily. In this fast-paced atmosphere, I thrive yet value quiet time and time in solitude on the weekends. My Catholic faith is a large part of my life. I'm at mass weekly and, when able/in town, attend Adoration on Fridays at my local parish.
23, San Jose, CAHello, I love being Catholic and knowing that we are the ONLY true followers of Christ. In my daily life I strive hard to make sure every decision I make is inline with Jesus' teachings. I have an open flow of communication with the Lord and meditate daily (No not in the name of Yoga! NEVER haha).. I'm a singer and a self employed special fx makeup artist for movies, TV, commercials, major Silicon Valley tech company videos, & weddings etc. My life is very exciting and I am pretty adventurous and expect the same of my future husband. I love to fly in airplanes, take day trips to places in California, and love to dress up for cocktail events. I have 2 sides to me. One side loves to look glamorous and dolled up for you, and the other side of me loves to be in chill clothing or my nike workout attire and get dirty hiking, learning how to garden, taking my dog to big parks with creeks etc. I'm not afraid of much, and very confident in my direction in life. I am close with my family although our relationship is far from perfect. Over this past year I have dedicated 24 hours a day towards self improvement. I became VEGAN, and opening my eyes to the extremely negative side effects that animal agriculture has made and is making on our environment and including our atmosphere! Respect goes a long ways and I like to be around warm and welcoming people who give bear hugs! Haha! I know who I'm looking for is our there, you just have to stand up and take the lead from there.
