54, Long Beach, CAI laugh easily and I am easy to engage in conversation. I enjoy smaller groups of twos and threes rather than large crowds. It is important for me to live the best life that I can so that I can be a strong role model for my son. I am a lector at my church and I teach a Religious Ed Class to eighth graders. I love that age because I can communicate more complex spiritual concepts than I could, say, to a fifth grader. Being a catechist forces me look at my own beliefs so I learn a great deal from my classes – more than they learn from me I expect. I try to keep myself open to God’s direction during the day and not get all bogged down in the worldly clamors that can come with just a normal day at work. I don’t want to miss the little miracles in life and I know from experience that God’s voice is quiet. I take my time getting to know people. I am observant without being judgemental. I have read most of Dr. Laura's books including The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands. I like to visit family and friends. Love good movies. I like to cook a good meal occasionally. Would love to get back into horseback riding. I am financially responsible. I have no credit card debt or student loan debt. I adopted my son after fostering him for two years.
33, Long Beach, CAI am a well rounded guy who does not have much time to get out and meet people. I have many interests, just ask. Not much to say thats not already in my profile, just seeing who's out there. I am looking for a good, well rounded catholic women that is fun to spend time with.
36, Long Beach, CAChristian life is not incompatible with adventure, wonder, and some of the best experiences in life. Seek first a friend; upon the foundation of true friendship all else can grow, a growth founded upon a durable rock.
40, Long Beach, CAI'm a down to earth guy who has a unique sense of humor, tries to live life to the fullest, and doesn't sweat the small stuff. I was born and raised in Southern California and really don't see myself living anywhere else. I've been active my whole life so I enjoy competing in marathons and triathlons, biking, swimming, hiking, cross training, and everything in between. I also like to read, travel (near or far), wine taste, meet up with friends for happy hour, listen to a wide range of music, nap, eat ice cream, and dance to anything 80's! Okay, I'll end it hear.
62, Long Beach, CAIm fortunate that what I do for work is my passion. I am blessed and enjoy spending time with my family at all of our gatherings.I only have one grandchild, but I adore him, he is the light of my life. I am thankful to my parents that I had a positive experience having been educated in Catholic school. Also while raising my kids I always took the opportunity to continue my education, I was always taking classes, my most memorable time was when I went to culinary school.I had the best time of my life, I finally knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. In my free time, I first and foremost spend time with my grandson, my hobbies vary from gardening, to theme parks, movies, concerts, comedy clubs, live theater, museums, baking, cooking, being a foodie just to name a few. I love to dance, but can't do it without a partner.Having worked for Disney as a pastry chef was a dream come true, I also enjoyed the perks and went to the park often with my son and grandson.I have a wide variety of interest and also enjoy some sports, I love going to baseball games, especially the angles.I prefer to see a live game as opposed to watching it on tv. There's nothing like a live game. Since my husband passed away this has been the one thing that I stopped doing for lack of someone loving baseball as much as I do. I'm hoping to find someone who has similar interests also combined with theirs to have great fun.I would like to meet someone that I have a good connection with on various levels, looking for my new best friend..I'm always open to new adventures that a partner likes to do, the important thing is to have fun together in any activity.I believe in honesty, respect and compromise, which I belive are key In any relationship. I was married for twenty years, I learned so much and evolved as a person, I enjoyed being married to a good man and my best friend. It would be nice to know someone who understands being a Catholic, regardless of being practicing or not. Everyone has their own personal beliefs and practice them in different ways, there should never be any judgment. I currently live in cypress, accidentally put my old zip code for long beach also not currently a member , but I'm always looking at the profiles to see if I find someone who might be compatible, I wish you luck in your search....Margaret

41, Long Beach, CAHello there! My name is Melanie. Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a elementary school teacher. I am passionate about advocating and educating children. I also love having the "teacher breaks", so my job is just plain perfect :). I really enjoy spending time with people, throwing parties, being out in nature, including riding my bike by the beach 4-6 times a week. I have a 21 year old son who I raised as a sole parent. He is pretty much on his own, as he is busy with school, work and working on and driving his 69' Ford to different "American Muscle" car meets. He is also conservative, has excellent character and responsible. For the last 22 years, I was busy going to school, working and raising him; now it's time for me and to focus on my future.

29, Long Beach, CAHey there! Let's start with the obvious, I am Catholic. My favorite past times (after going to mass and spending time with God ;) are snowboarding, reading, trying new restaurants, traveling, hiking/camping/kayaking, and spending time with family/friends. This year I started organizing events for a local Meetup group. I enjoy spending time with my Little (BBBS). Most importantly, I love the Tridentine Mass.
53, Long Beach, CAAs far back as I can remember, I always knew that I would find someone special to share my life with. I was almost certain that being a parent would be the joy of my life. Fast forward, life happens and here I am at 52 never married and no children. Honestly, I don't look at my life experiences as any failure, but rather the Lord's plan for me. I turned to the Lord to take away my anguish and disappointment and he never failed me. Don't know what is in store with me and can't wait to walk that path. Best wished to all and God Bless.
