72, Pleasant Hill, CAAfter moving to California from New Jersey in 1974 my life became very productive and enjoyable. My husband traveled a lot and raising our two daughters became my responsibility. After our children became full time students I sought my teaching credential. I began by teaching part-time and eventually became a full-time English as a Second Language teacher. I also worked on special projects and became a mentor teacher. I began my administrative career after completing my Masters degree at St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA and subsequently was appointed as a vice principal at a continuation high school for 5 years. Upon retirement I became involved in golf, book groups, different ministries at my parish and especially spending time with my 4 grandchildren. After my husband's death in 2007 I became more involved in the grief ministry at Christ the King Church. I also volunteer at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.
51, Pleasant Hill, CAHello, and thank you for reading my profile. A little about me...I enjoy many activities and derive a great deal of pleasure from the simple to the sophisticated. I'm in love with the Church and the faith is central to my life. Placing my gifts and talents at the service of others is an important aspect of my life and, as a result, I have been rewarded and deeply blessed with a rich, abundant life that has led to many wonderful people, places, and things. I enjoy a balance of activity and contemplation. I like being with people but also relish in quiet, reflective time. My goal is, most importantly, to become the person God has called me to be and to use all of my gifts for His greater glory and honor. Id love to share my life with the man who will be my compliment and companion in life as we journey toward heaven. Who are you? Well, I couldn't presume to know exactly what you look like; however, some of the characteristics you possess are spiritual, genuine, and holistically healthy. You enjoy life and challenge but aren't completely possessed by it. You are balanced and seek excellence. Above all, you know the value and fun of life and encounters with people, places, and things. And, the Catholic faith inspires and informs your daily life. I look forward to getting to know you! PS Gentlemen, please send a short note or email if you're interested. I don't respond to emotograms only. Thank you:)
62, Pleasant Hill, CAI'm an athletically built guy in great health who is always on the go. Any sport will do, and I do consider dancing a sport. I am out of the home most of the time, except when weather keeps me away from the outdoors. I'm passionate about life, sensitive and prone to tears over sad and happy events, and like various types of movies. Since I enjoy seeing God's creation, I love being in places that exhibit His handiwork. Backpacking is great for both excercise and experiencing nature. I love to cook and enjoy most all types of food. I'm in great health, which I attribute to my all-organic diet. If I travel I usually take the opportunity to do something besides site seeing, like golf, tennis, swimming, dancing, ATV's, billiards, concerts, movies, hiking, or any other event. Since I take my faith seriously I often plan my life around matters of faith and church. I have found that life has a lot more meaning when I live this way. I am a 3rd Order Dominican, go to daily Mass, and read the Litugy of the Hours daily. I have taught Bible Studies and other topics in parishes.

35, Pleasant Hill, CAThe simple things in life make me happy. I like to be outside on a nice day, eat good food, and spend quality time with family and friends. I grew up in a big Italian family here in the Bay Area. I've seen most of California, but I never grow tired of exploring this area. It's always nice to travel outside of California once in a while, too. One of my fondest memories is when I first set foot in Italy. Seeing the little villages where my family is from is something I had wanted to do since I was a child.

82, Pleasant Hill, CAI am social, have a large group of friends. Have been married twice and lost both husbands to cancer. I very much liked being married and miss having a partner. My second marriage was only ten years but it was ten years I would not trade for the world. It made me realize that you can certainly love more than once in your life and I would settle for a relationship that was less.
