44, Santa Barbara, CAThis is hard, feel like I am going skinny dipping for the first time. And here goes... Very fortunate to grow up in Santa Barbara, CA USA. My parents have been married for over 45 years and are the most influential people in my life. Proud Uncle to 5 wonderful nieces. The outdoors, school, travel, work and sports have been influential as well. The outdoors are where I like to be outside of work. This will sound odd but I am passionate about hunting. A healthy lifestyle has been and always will be important to me. I am an Ironman Triathlon finisher. I am a certified sommelier but above all an aspiring gentleman that knows how to treat a lady. If you have questions, please ask. P.S. I taught the most interesting man in the world everything he knows!
55, Santa Barbara, CALiving here in Santa Barbara is truly living in a bubble of beauty, with the mountains and ocean it is truly a magical place to live! I enjoy the outdoors, I am have just begun playing golf, a sport that is very frustrating but when you are able to hit a great shot, it is an amazing feeling, seeing that mine are few and far between. I love to travel and my job allows me to travel to Asia and Europe with is rather fantastic, Florence is one of my favorite cities and I haven't been in a few years, hoping to get there soonI love sports, I am a Chicago Cubs fan, seeing I lived there for almost 20 years.
25, Santa Barbara, CAI'm passionate about my faith and looking for someone to share it with. In my free time I enjoy working out (Crossfit!), hanging out with friends, reading, and watching movies.
27, Santa Barbara, CAIf you won't listen to the National Book Foundation, which recently awarded The Underground Railroad its 2016 Fiction Award, listen to us: Read this book. Colson Whitehead weaves together a sordid history of white American violence toward black Americans, during and after slavery, into one steam-punked, sci-fied escape adventure about a woman named Cora. The writing: electrifying. The scenes: often horrifying. The book: unmissable. - CF
61, Santa Barbara, CAI am a cheerful, energetic, athletic woman, type A personality who loves the Lord and the Church passionately. Family and friends and doing activities together are what I truly relish; that closeness of sharing talk or sweating it out on a hike, or loving a good meal or laughing so hard at a movie, that's living!! It's not my desire to live life alone, for me it's about sharing life and love.. I am active in conservative politics, very much into education and learning new things. Going to the gym and playing my favorite sport, tennis, is how I relax and burn up the extra energy. I like the "cool", the "modern", being "up to date", being in the culture to transform the culture by good example and Christian evangelism. Guess that makes me the activist! In the past have done (and still love) hiking across the country, marathons, cycling, surfing, just NO golf for me! Lastly, love to travel, and be with my man to support him and make his life wonderful!
27, Santa Barbara, CA- family girl - introverted-extrovert - sports fanatic - third grade teacher - sweet but a little sassy - live music is my favorite - a night out or a night in are both fine by me!
26, Santa Barbara, CAHey!Hey! I'm a California girl who's been all over the place. I just moved back to Santa Barbara after several years away, and am now contentedly settling back into the good old hometown. I'd love to invest more time into the great outdoors with someone. If you want to get to know more message me, ask me out, but, please, no emotigrams.
53, Santa Barbara, CAI experienced a conversion four years ago on the Feast of the Transfiguration, which radically changed my life. Hallelujah! Being Catholic means everything to me now. Love being Catholic! I am grateful to our Lord for His gift of faith and unconditional love despite my littleness, when I haven't done a stellar job of loving Him in return. I want to do His will, trusting in Him....which is not always easy. I am a seeker of truth. As a designer, I enjoy anything artsy-fartsy, architecture, lighting, sacred art, interiors, exteriors, treasure hunting/flea marketing, good food, bad food, spicy food, road trips, music that moves my soul, making new friends, stimulating conversations, being of service to others, jumping out of planes, connecting to nature, hiking, campfires, chasing rainbows, kayaking, collecting sea glass and heart rocks, laughing and crying simultaneously, discovering something new every day, star gazing and tent camping (not necessarily in that order). Love love love getting my hands dirty in the garden which grounds me (excuse the pun). Foot massages are up there, too.
29, Santa Barbara, CAI never thought I'd be joining a dating service but after my last relationship I've realized more and more how important it is to find someone of the same faith as me. A major common problem in the last 2 relationships I had was a difference in religion or core values and beliefs, especially since I feel so strongly about mine. So I figured I would be able to rule out one of the common major issues in my last relationships by just finding someone of the same faith. I'm an active Catholic and feel strongly about the faith. I don't believe the church is perfect, but I believe they have it the closest to what God intended it to be. I am always willing to keep an open mind and listen or learn more. I am the most passionate about God, his word and the truth. I have been touched by the wisdom of God's word so deeply, as well as experienced some amazing revelations through out my journey in discovering God's truth and where the Catholic Church lies therein. I have the goal of becoming a deacon one day. A lot of my own life experiences, my oldest sister and my mother as well as all those God has put in my path have been the most influential in my life. Also, someone like Scott Hahn who has one of the greatest conversion testimonies I have ever heard. I usually stay busy working a lot but during my free time I do I enjoy training martial arts such Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, kickboxing etc. Which I've been doing for the last 7 years. I enjoy playing video games every now and then but it has definitely moved down the list of my priorities currently. I also enjoy going out and doing fun things like shooting pool or bowling, watching a movie etc. I love the outdoors and love hiking and camping. I love dancing and have learned a few fundamentals to different dancing styles such as; waltz, tango, cha-cha-cha etc. (Currently working on bachata and salsa) And am open to learning more!
37, Santa Barbara, CAI'm passionate about creativity, travel, a culturally rich life, laughter. Spending high school in Europe and traveling within Europe; my German literature teacher, reading, exploring. Spending time with other people/friends, especially in creative endeavors.
47, Santa Barbara, CAWhen people say, "How is it possible you haven't been married?" I answer, "I guess I'm one of the professional 'later-bloomers' out there." ;-) Like myself, I'm looking forward to meeting someone who is loving the journey and the destination, in life and in love. A foodie through and through. My earliest memories was watching PBS cooking shows jotting recipes on napkins. So I love cooking and entertaining! I'll stay up late to bake your favorite chocolate chips cookies, as I'm planning to sneak them into your lunch bag--just because I know you have an important meeting. Enjoy volunteering at film screenings for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, 2017 will be my 9th year. Years ago was pouring wine in the funk zone in Santa Barbara (before wine tasting was a hot thing to do), so I enjoy checking out tasting rooms and breweries. Also nicer restaurants and little hole in the walls. I love the beach as well.. where do you like to go? Physically active and enjoy movement outdoors, esp: road cycling; recovering from an injury so getting back by cycling inside & getting into swimming + learning to surf. Love to cook and have people over, do you? While I enjoy going out, can be quite the home body. Nice to "meet" you. ;-) While I was raised Catholic (years ago lived in Catholic community, and know the teachings relatively well) I'm not dogmatic about religion. I know uber-religious, agnostics and atheists alike. For me it all comes back to the L-word. One of my favorite quotes is: "Faith, Hope, Love and Charity. And the greatest of these is LOVE." By the way... Dare you to tell me what two breeds make a "cavapoo"? The first time I met one, fell instantly in love. Now have a mini picture of one on my dash board and she's named "Coco." I don't have one... yet...
