49, Thousand Oaks, CAI enjoy great restaurants, going to the movies, concerts(a lot!), quiet time, soccer, baseball, the outdoors and beautiful views. I especially enjoy traveling. I have seen some wonderful places but my wishlist of places to visit is never-ending. Now that two of my children are off to college and have their own lives and my youngest will be soon, I am looking forward to checking a few more things off my bucket list. I would love to find someone who has the same passion for exploring new places as I do, someone kind, honest and who has a relationship with God. My faith in God is an important part of my life, the eternal optimist in me believes that God has wonderful plan for me.
28, Thousand Oaks, CAI'm an old-soul. :) There isn't much I can't enjoy. I'm very real, open and a direct communicator. I appreciate when people don't "beat around the bush." I like to joke around, and consider my sense of humor to be sarcastic. On the other hand--my heart is very sincere, and deeper conversations come easy to me. I make fantastic chocolate chip cookies, just so you know. :) Here are some random facts about me to liven things up: (For some reason, my neatly laid out facts are being jumbled into a mess. I've contacted someone from this site to help me fix it. Thanks for understanding that I'm not a messy writer!) I Love Lucy is my go-to show. The best bbq sauce is warm bbq sauce. When I want to be cozy, I throw on a huge shirt. My favorite piece of clothing is my "rag sweatshirt." And I say that affectionately. My toe nails are red the majority of the time, as a tribute to my grandpa who loved red. Plus, it's classy as heck. Men who wear plaid are extremely attractive to me. I tried blonde streaks once, it wasn't for me. I have a shrine of sorts in my bedroom, with multiple statues of Our Lady, Jesus and Joseph, and other saints. My first car was a red 1990 Jeep Cherokee. Oh, how I miss it! I love camping, dirt doesn't scare me. Learning to shoot is on my bucket list. I own a taser and pepper spray, so be nice. Meat is life. High heels are for special occasions only. Hey, they hurt sometimes! Prepping food relaxes me. My favorite dog I ever had was a Siberian Husky named Misty. There is always Holy Water in my purse, and a Rosary in my pocket. My least favorite thing to do is clean bathrooms, and I'll happily trade you anything to do it for me! Never ask me to cut my hair or go blonde, because NO. I happily pray for the day God blows my mind with His Plan.

49, Thousand Oaks, CAHey you! Moved here from Oregon about a year ago (Grew up down here but moved away long ago) and have been busy getting settled. I am now ready to find that special someone. I work in education so I have evenings, weekends and chunks of time off throughout the year. Looking for someone with a lighter schedule too. I live with my 17 year old son and have another 2 sons and 1 daughter, grown and out on their own. It's my time now! :-) Please send a message if interested.
46, Thousand Oaks, CAI'm smart, creative, nice, cultured, well-mannered, funny, a little weird, a little loud and kind. I've been through a lot in my life and have developed some wisdom and patience when it comes to life's hiccups. I try not to take things too seriously. I love to experience new things but love the comfort of what's old and well-worn too. I'm also really sarcastic, funny and mischievous. I'm an artist and can have that artist-stuff going on but I've found that the people in my life really even me out. People are the antidote to my problems. I end up being pretty drama free. My big vice is coffee. I'm into more intimate social gatherings with friends rather than going out to clubs and such. I don't take the small stuff seriously and I'd like to think I know what's important. And what's important usually boils down to God and the responsibilities you keep toward your fellow man and woman under any circumstance. I've seen a lot of life and been forced to live through a lot of hardship but I think its made me a better person. I have lived in three countries, traveled a lot and that has widened my perspective and increased my wisdom. I enjoy... well, everything -- as long as I'm with good company. I find myself leaning toward traveling, hiking or walks, movies, theater, art and deep discussions. And good food. In person, I come off as well-spoken, intelligent, very intense and confident. Don't let it fool you. I'm a big teddy bear. I've got some interesting facts about myself that I'm not sharing. I'll only tell in person.

72, Thousand Oaks, CAI follow the ---Golden Rule---I would love to meet somebody that I can trust, is respectful, attends church at least once a week. A person with dignity and loves the outdoors. I am a devoted person who values my family and home. On my leisure time I enjoy walking, visiting friends and family, but most of all attending seminars on topics that will enhance my health and life.
44, Thousand Oaks, CAHi, I'm Mary and I have to say I'm new to any type of online dating and a bit apprehensive about the whole concept. But, I am willing to try and hope for a positive experience. I am a single mom of three daughters, ages 21, 12, and 8. They are the most important part of my life and I am trying so hard to be a good mom and role model to them. I was married in 2002 and my husband left us just about 2 weeks shy of our 10th anniversary. Needless to say it has been a difficult 4 years. That being said, I am so ready to move forward with life, which never seems to go the way we have planned it would. I guess that is where faith comes in, although I still have a hard time accepting that. Our plans and God's plan differ a lot, it seems. I do struggle to accept that fact. I was a stay-at-home mom for about 8 years, and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 2012. Getting back to work and finding a job to support us has proved difficult, but I am starting a new job and hope this will be the one that works out until it is time to retire many years from now. I'm not quite sure how to "introduce" myself. I guess with putting out in the open what I hope to do in life from here on out and what my expectations or hopes are in a relationship. I do believe that a strong friendship is first and foremost in a good relationship. I also believe that each person needs to put an effort into getting to know and respect what their partner needs and wants in their life. When children are involved it can certainly complicate a relationship, but I believe they are worth it! I also need to be with someone who loves dogs...I love and respect animals, and that is something I want in a partner as well. I have three dogs, one for each of my girls. They keep us laughing to say the least! Things I would like to do over the next few years are to travel to different states and countries...I've always wanted to do that, although it's a bit more scary these days. I guess that is an opening into political views and what is happening in our world today. I will just put out there that I have been raised as a Democrat and a liberal democrat at that. Meeting someone with the same political views would be an amazing thing as we are Catholics here.
26, Thousand Oaks, CASome of my interests are philosophy and theology. I enjoy hiking. I am discerning if God is calling me to the vocation of teaching. I love children. I cannot type much at the moment because I have tendonitis in my hands, but i hope to write more in the future.
