I'm a French Canadian, and the youngest of 3 girls. I just moved to the Ottawa area in March of 2007. God has the 1st place in my life which is important. I participate and am also the co-ordinator for the French churches for the 40 days for Life. I spend time every evening with God reading my Bible and praying. I recently joined the choir at church. It is a special blessing to be able to attend mass in the choir loft up above and to sing for God. I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I find it hard to complete this section because it's impossible to say exactly who you are. I believe that the best way to get to know someone is to talk to them. If you would like to get to know me then send me a message

I was born in but I now live in Canada. I come from a big loving family (I'm the 6th of 7, but the only single one, I'm uncle to 17 nieces and nephews), so even do I'm away from them, family is very important for me. I'm a very religious guy, Catholic, and it's an important part of my life, most of my friends and things I do have to do with my faith. I love sports and I try to play them as much as I can, I'll do anything, from football and soccer, to tennis, golf, even paintball. I also like nature, spending time outside, going on hikes or bike rides. I love food and enjoy eating out, cause cooking for one, it's to much of a mess and it's not fun. But cooking for two its different! For the past couple of month I've been living in an acreage and I have to say I really enjoy it. The quietness, the beautiful nights, taking care of the animals. I am still close enough to the city, but living out in the country is just awesome.

Hi, I'm Matt. I'm new to this website, and thought I would check it out. It seems to be very hard to find girls who are Catholic, and share the same values as I do. This seems like a good place to start looking. :)

I am an avid reader and I learn a lot by reading. I am a good cook and love to do it. Exercise is important to me I go to the gym four times a week. My church life is very important to me _ I go to mass every day and am involved in my parish activities always. I am a lector on week days and when I am scheduled on week ends. I teach the Cathechism classes for First Communion and Saturday mornings. I am the Chair person of the Food Bank - but I have cut back on this a bit because of health reasons. I really loved doing this. I walk a lot and live an active life style. I play bingo on Wednesday mornings at church with the seniors and sometimes we go on trips. I love going on Pilgrimages with the Italian group. I have traveled a lot over the years but since I am a widow I do not enjoy going alone so have cut back. I am of mixed descent - part Portuguese and East Indian. I was born in Trinidad. and migrated here in 2007 after my husband went to be with the Lord. We ran an insurance brokerage for over 38 years and I really enjoyed my job and it allowed me freedom to do all my church activities because of the flexible schedule I had. There is so much more to me - I guess on meeting a suitable person - they can get to know me better as meeting is so much more revealing than just reading.Eyes are the window to the soul and I believe that a person's eyes reveal so much as to character. I have two grown kids who are happily married with their own families and live on their own. I look forward to finding someone with whom I can grow old and do a bit of traveling. Two of the most influential persons in my life have been St John Paul, Blessed Mother Teresa - these were during my own life time. There were so many others of whom I have read who have been a great source of spiritual strength to me, So much more that cannot be written here Have to leave some mystery to be unfolded.

Christ first in all things! (But since there's specific field for talking about the faith, I guess I'll wait to talk about that further along.) St Iranaeus said, "The glory of God is man fully alive!" I believe that maxim with my whole heart. To start with, I'm a voracious reader. Great literature, philosophy, mysteries, history, theology, children's literature, spiritual - I'll welcome it with open arms into my already bursting bookshelf. My love of ink doesn't stop with reading books, however - I love writing novels, poetry, and plays. Although I really struggle with shyness when I am getting to know someone, I'm an extrovert behind it all, and love long conversations about anything everything. I love a good debate or Socratic discussion, but also love joking around or comparing notes on a good movie. I enjoy going on long, rambling walks with others. I love working with youth. Theatre is a passion of mine, on either side of the footlights. I'm also fond of dancing (ballroom, swing, English and Irish country dancing) and you can sometimes find me informally DJing at dances thrown by my family or friends. Singing makes me happy. I like getting together with other Catholics for prayer, and am one of the organizers for a Catholic singles/young adults group. I do like watching a good show from time to time, and I must admit I enjoy reading articles on the Internet, though I try to make sure I'm balanced about it. I like boardgames as well.

Hello everyone! I live my life as best as I can in the way that God wants, and I try to be like Christ, however, I struggle with mental illness. I'm Manic-Depressive bi-polar, I have anxiety and panic issues, I have borderline personality disorder, narcissic personality disorder, as well as ADHD, and a few other co-morbidities. I love people but I cant stand large crowds, they tend to make me really uncomfortable and irritable. Perhaps you've read enough and want nothing to do with me, thats ok. I get it. It's not an easy thing to deal with. But trust me, its a heck of a lot worse living with it everyday, knowing that you don't want to feel the way you do, but you can't help it. Medicine helps, but its no cure. Thank you for understanding if you've made it this far! :) I'm passionate about good food, good friends, and a good book. I'm old fashioned, I love to visit museums and art galleries, go check out different historical sites, and hang out at Stella's enjoying a London Fog. My Grandfather was the singles greatest influence on me, alas, he passed away last year, and I miss his counsel terribly. In my free time, I like to work on my family tree, hang out with friends and play board games. I've also come to enjoy doing my daily devotions and getting up to speed on remembering my rosary, its been years since I used to do it on a regular basis. I love sports, teams I like are in no specific order, Montreal Canadiens, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, Dallas Cowboys, Winnipeg Goldeyes, St. Louis Cardinals, Winnipeg Blue bombers. I used to play touch football, but it has been a few years now. Everybody is busy with work, so it is hard to organize a proper team. I prefer Tea over coffee. I love animals but I am allergic to them. I love all kinds of food. If you put it in front of me, it will disappear. I really enjoy East Indian, Italian, and Eastern European food. I speak English and French. Chocolate is my achilles heel. If you ever feel like trying to bribe me, thats probably the best thing to offer me, haha. :) Other than that, I just take things day by day, because of my condition, its the best that I can do!

I'm a lifelong devout Christian and a convert to the Catholic Church, and I'm loving every minute I spend on this side of the Tiber! I'm working hard to live my faith in a proactive way, and if you like what you read here, I'd love to receive a message from you. My biggest passion in life is pro-life activism. I have helped create and organize several different pro-life groups and projects in my area, and it was getting involved with the pro-life movement that first put me into contact with all the amazing Catholic friends who helped me find the road to Rome. With so much important work to be done, I enjoy taking a hands-on role in trying to make the world a better place. When I'm not at school or doing pro-life stuff, I like to dabble in my regional political scene, keep tabs on the gong-show that is American politics (favorite media personalities include Ben Shapiro and Steven Crowder), and study Catholic apologetics in my downtime. I've even had a couple of opportunities to do some street evangelization, something which I hope to do more of in the future. I also love going to Adoration, as I find that praying before the Blessed Sacrament is one of the most intimate and powerful ways to connect with our Savior. When it comes to liturgical preferences, I definitely gravitate towards the more traditional end of the spectrum (I particularly love worshiping with the Anglican Ordinariate), though what ultimately matters most to me is whether a parish cultivates an environment of reverence and orthodoxy. I hope to develop a love for tradition and liturgy in a way that helps encourage other Catholics to seek piety and unity with one another.

I am a revert, and reverted 2 years ago. I am Extremely passionate about the faith though I also enjoy history, music, art and languages. I look forward to mass when I'm able to go and connecting with other Catholics that are traditional and serious about their faith. WYD in Krakow was an extremely influential time in my life that provided an excellent opportunity for discernment. I am also incredibly thankful to all the priests that have helped me along this path. In my spare time I enjoy reading, learning, keeping up to date on current events and socializing in online circles or in the real world.
