I'm 66, never married and have lived in God's country(also known as Canada's Yukon Territory) for the past 19 years. I enjoy golfing/singing in a community choir/family history/Knights of Columbus/Habitat for Humanity/and other volunteer opportunities. I like people and conversation. I'm outgoing, friendly and still have a sense of wonder. I try to maintain an attitude of gratitude. God is with me every step of the way! I can be spontaneous and feel that life can be very good when one is fully engaged on a day-today basis. It c would be even better if that life is shared with someone special.

I grew up in a Catholic family and have always considered faith to be very important to me. I am very close with my family, I have 2 brothers, a sister and and lots of extended family. I'm a fairly easy-going person as long as I've had my morning cup of coffee. I love baking and cooking, especially for other people, there's nothing quite like a winter afternoon spend making stew and fresh bread :-). I enjoy the outdoors (camping, hiking, horseback riding, etc) but I also love a quiet day in, playing boardgames with friends or reading a book. I listen to most types of music though I'm partial to rock, alternative and country (no rap or hip hop). I would love to have a large family and look forward to one day homeschooling and raising children in the Catholic church.

My faith is very important to me, it is such a beautiful foundation, a premise from which my journey in this life I live and want so much to share with a kindred spirit, a soul mate . I have many interests , my background is in the arts and I love to travel and to see and experience God's incredible beautiful gifts of and in His creation and creatures, as He unfolds them all for all of us daily in every moment for us, nuance upon nuance . These are the most influential experiences in my life and my growing in them is my leisure as I share them with others is my joy .

My friends and family are very important to me and certainly been a huge influence in my life, they are who keep me grounded. During my leisure time I enjoy going for walks and spending time outdoors, catching up with friends and doing something crafty.

Hello! My name's Michael. I'm a recent graduate from McGill University working at a high-tech firm in Ottawa. I'm very passionate about the Catholic faith, and strongly believe in living a Christ-centred life. I was fortunate enough to live for several years at the Newman Centre, the Catholic chaplaincy at McGill University. giving me the opportunity to live and grow in faith with fellow young Catholics. I was deeply involved with the Catholic community at McGill; for example, I used to serve as president of McGill's Catholic students' association, the Newman Catholic Students' Society. I find the Church's intellectual tradition very appealing. I enjoy learning about theology and moral philosophy, and I'm currently reading a book on the thought of Aquinas, my favourite saint. I am fascinated by technology. I started programming at a young age and my interest only grew over time. My degree is in computer engineering and I will be working as a software developer after I graduate. I often work on personal programming projects in my spare time. I have a strong interest in politics and world affairs. I used to participate in debate, public speaking, and model UN in high school, and I still enjoy debating with others about, well, pretty much anything. :) I enjoy watching movies and television, especially science fiction (e.g. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Babylon 5, Firefly), witty comedies (e.g. Frasier), and action-adventure (e.g. the Indiana Jones series).

I am a simple, fun loving practicing Catholic looking for an honorable man interested in a serious relationship. I'm the oldest in a bilingual French-Canadian family of 6 children raised by devout, fun, and loving parents who took us to live in Germany, western Canada, Washington DC, and finally Ottawa. I've visited many places as a tourist in Europe and North America and I lived in southern France and in New Bedford MA for a period when I considered religious life. This experience and my family gave me a deep understanding of our beautiful faith. I love children and teach them catechism, love classical Church music and teach Gregorian chant, like to laugh and to keep active, and enjoy being with family and friends.

I'm a lifelong devout Christian and a convert to the Catholic Church, and I'm loving every minute I spend on this side of the Tiber! I'm working hard to live my faith in a proactive way, and if you like what you read here, I'd love to receive a message from you. My biggest passion in life is pro-life activism. I have helped create and organize several different pro-life groups and projects in my area, and it was getting involved with the pro-life movement that first put me into contact with all the amazing Catholic friends who helped me find the road to Rome. With so much important work to be done, I enjoy taking a hands-on role in trying to make the world a better place. When I'm not at school or doing pro-life stuff, I like to dabble in my regional political scene, keep tabs on the gong-show that is American politics (favorite media personalities include Ben Shapiro and Steven Crowder), and study Catholic apologetics in my downtime. I've even had a couple of opportunities to do some street evangelization, something which I hope to do more of in the future. I also love going to Adoration, as I find that praying before the Blessed Sacrament is one of the most intimate and powerful ways to connect with our Savior. When it comes to liturgical preferences, I definitely gravitate towards the more traditional end of the spectrum (I particularly love worshiping with the Anglican Ordinariate), though what ultimately matters most to me is whether a parish cultivates an environment of reverence and orthodoxy. I hope to develop a love for tradition and liturgy in a way that helps encourage other Catholics to seek piety and unity with one another.

I was born and raised in Northern B.C. Coming to Calgary has been a shock to the system. I thought I was a "city girl", small town city is probably more like it. I like making people laugh, laughing(which more often ends up being at myself), horseback riding, finding water to walk near, reading, movies, hanging with friends and also praying together. My relationship with God means the most to me, I'm hoping to meet someone who not only feels the same, but will also take the initiative to go to mass, adoration, praying together ect.

I'm a passionate educator who is very active in my parish. I love music and movies with friends. You would just as easily find me at a rock concert or an opera, going out on the town with friends or staying in for the night, climbing a mountain or swimming in the ocean. New to the lower mainland and looking for some Catholic friends to show me around. I'm pretty spontaneous, ask me about the time I moved to Asia with a week's notice!

I generally enjoy Cottage Country in the summer months as well as Wine Tasting, Dogs of all breeds, wildlife exploring and watching, attending various festivals, home renovations. I also really enjoy the City of Toronto which has always been my home. Looking for ward to meeting someone with a sense of humor, who shares similar values of home and family. I believe in honesty and commitment and hope to find a genuine connection who enjoys the same. The most influential person to me has been my sister and a few cousins . They have always advocated openness, character and generosity. They have always influenced me to help others and volunteer. For leisure I enjoy Jogging in parks, wine shopping, explore local entertainment areas and talent, when in town. Swimming, Canoeing and boating in the summer months.

Hi, I am not very familiar with how you can summarize 35 years in 2,500...But let's try. I am from Martinique, a French island (so English is notmy first language) and I have lived in Montreal for the past 12 years (now I am truly French and Canadian!). I love reading (it's now so addictive that putting aside my E-reader was my Lent objective) and travelling (I don't like all-inclusive trips to be honest, I am more a fancy backpacker). Since I love eating as well (and it shows), I also like working out (mainly martial arts, zumba and fitness). I dislike running (and I think running does not like me either) but this relationship is a work in progress. I have been blessed so far with a very wonderful life and great family. Including a wonderful mom and a cousin with Down syndrome (who I think is an Angel in disguise). My cousin was actually my first motivation when I decided to get involved with "l'Arche", an association which helps people with mental deficiencies 6 years ago. But now, volunteering there is part of who I am, like being from the French Caribbean or being Catholic. As regards my faith, it has been in my heart for as long as I could remember but it not as consistent as it should be. God is patient and merciful with me (well, with all of us) so I am not giving up on being a better follower of Christ.
