65, Manzanola, COIt may not be as important what describes my likes, dislikes, experiences, and accomplishments as much as it is that, through the course of about six decades of life, I, as you, have survived the ups and downs of this Journey! Most of my adult life was spent in the service of others as a therapist in a psychiatric hospital, on an acute, locked evaluation team. (Have been hit, bitten, spat upon, lost teeth from being assaulted, and have had every bodily fluid one can think of thrown at me!) " Retired" now, just trying to stay afloat in these times. As a child, 'army brat', I traveled and lived with my family from Colorado, to Germany, to South Carolina, to Missouri, with several returns to, and grounding myself in, Colorado. The rhetorical question of the day, 'Do I wait at the top of the Empire State Building, hoping for my Love to meet me there? . . . Do I have the patience of St. Monica to know Cary Grant finally ended up in the arms of Deborah Kerr? . . . Or, not?' Not in the habit of taking pics of myself, so may update with some more later. Although starting as a blonde, hair color now is a mix of blonde, gray, dark, and 'balding'! For-the-record, if I haven't noted before, if I don't answer any messages asap, do not think me disrespectful. My monthly budget determines my active/paid status herein. So, emotigrams are not a sign of carelessness, but rather that I'm not currently paid up. Thanx and Prayers!
30, Denver, COHello, and thanks for reading my profile! Here are a few things I find interesting, exciting, or fun. If you find any of them interesting too then perhaps we could start a proper conversation. 1. Spring and summer, living out of doors (i.e. camping ;-)) sunlight, hikes, the ocean. I went on the Chartres pilgrimage in France three years ago, and can't wait to do something like that again. It's a great feeling to awaken at dawn and put your boots (or sandals) on and just start walking, and walk and walk..... 2. Country life. I grew up on a farm. I love growing plants and raising animals...I actually even like the smell of cattle and horses ;-) 3. Languages. I study French with a passion, and would love to master Italian also. 4. Books. My most prized of all books is "The Diary of a Country Priest" by Georges Bernanos. I read it every year and I learn more every time. But I also read a lot of modern European history, classic mystery stories, spiritual stuff (e.g. "Introduction to the Devout Life") and kids' adventure stories. 5. Gardens! I once had charge of a rose-garden with thirty seven rose-bushes in it, climbing roses and tea roses and old-fashioned roses, all with their own special scents. My favorite was a climbing rose called "Joseph's coat" because as it blooms it changes from red to pink to orange and yellow. It is madly beautiful. 6. Philosophy....I'm an Aristotelian. All them Platonists and Phenomenologists and what-have-you can go stand on their heads and spit wooden nickles.... Actually, I'm kidding ;-) I'm getting my feet wet with Dietrich von Hildebrand right now, and it's great stuff.

20, Rifle, COHey! I am a Cowgirl with a love for all animals but horses in particular. I currently own horses, dogs, a cat, a chinchilla and a parrot. Honest, hardworking and not afraid to try new things. I grew up in a family of 10. My mom homeschooled us all. Reserved and quiet at first but once I know you I can be quite silly. Always happy and laid back and up with the sun. I absolutely love to ride horses and currently work on a ranch. My make-up is dirt sweat and blood. I greatly enjoy dancing. Swing dance is my favorite but I know a bit of everything. I also took Irish dance for about 10 years. Other hobbies of mine include: sewing, archery, cosplay, reading, listening to country music, riding my sport motorcycle and most recently learning about guns. I love to have fun and try new things. I get along with everyone I've ever met. I'm always smiling or laughing at something. I'm hardly ever serious but can be if the situation calls for it. I'm very caring and would never do anything to hurt my friends. I have a soft spot for animals especially wounded or frightened ones. I always have ever since I was young. I am a tom boy. Comes from growing up surrounded by brothers I guess. The majority of my friends are guys. I just hate drama and I find less of it with my guy friends plus more common interest.
30, Colorado Springs, COI am passionate about my faith, pray the rosary daily, and meditate on scripture. I look forward to sharing my spirituality with someone who is also passionate about Christ. Obedience is important to me. I do not believe in pre-marital sex. My most memorable and best experiences in my faith were during RCIA classes. During the re-newing of my baptism, while kneeling in front of the Eucharist, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace as the deacon blessed me. It was the most natural, relaxed, true peace I have ever felt. Another pivotal experience is when I took a stone, which symbolized my life, and placed it at the feet of Jesus on the cross (also during my RCIA class). That day is when I wholeheartedly decided to obey God, do away with my sins, and trust that his will will be done. In my free time I like to go hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, traveling, and snowboarding. I love sports and music. I also love to play the drums. I could stay at the beach all day. Sunsets are my fav.
46, Avon, COIm honest, open mind, I love mountains, I like to cooking, hiking, camping, and expend time with the family. I really like to live in Colorado but I love the ocean too.
52, Arvada, COHello, I grew up in a small town attending Catholic schools and our parish had a large impact on my upbringing. I feel very fortunate that my parents sent us and look back and attribute much of my professional and personal successes to Catholic education and teachings. I was married for about 5 years when I was in my 20s (seems like a lifetime ago) I recently built a home (still have boxes all around me!) in Colorado after moving here from the Midwest several years ago. I have spent most of my career in healthcare, including working at Catholic hospitals, Catholic Charities and Catholic Hospice. I am currently in management at a large health care organization based in Denver and am financially secure. I enjoy hiking and the mountains and taking full advantage of all Colorado has to offer. I try to walk several miles daily (all year round) outside... I joined Catholic Match because as I look at my four closest friends who have successful marriages they all married men of great faith who put God first and that has helped them weather difficult times and the ups and downs of marriage. I really prefer to connect with others who live in Colorado and have strong ties here as I am not open or interested in relocating at this time. Mainly interested in a companion to attend activities with and share some fun times.
24, Westminster, COI am passionate about acting. I work two retail jobs and with a high school theatre program. I am always in a show. I have a St Bernard who is bigger than me and I enjoy taking care of my 18 month old nephew. I am a dancer and will dance anywhere. I am a Rapids season ticket holder and try to schedule around home games. I graduated from a Catholic High school and graduated from a private college in New Jersey.
24, Tuam, IEMy faith is a part of my daily life and has defined who I am today. I have been a Catholic my whole life, however it was only a couple of years ago when through the grace of God I was introduced to the Latin Mass and all things traditional. I am looking for someone who is well formed in his faith and knows what it takes to be a good holy man of God. Someone who has God as number one in his life. Someone who shall continue to lead me on the road to Heaven and allow me to do the same for him. You simply must have a preference for the Latin Mass and all things traditional. Regardless of the confusion out there by the liberals and heretics, the Church is actually quite clear on the teachings of Jesus especially regarding marriage and family life and I intend to follow them every step of the way. I am just not interested in anyone who wishes to date simply for the sake of it. The Church encourages Courtship for a reason. I believe it's the little things in life that are such blessings from the hand of God and they can be the things we really take for granted. Life is a long journey home and if we want salvation we must fight for it and it does not come without its crosses along the way but we must be Joyful because at the end of the day, If God is with us, who can be against us? Viva Cristo Rey!
28, Denver, COI am an introvert and extrovert. I love meeting new people and having conversations of all types, but I also value space and time with myself (usually reading) or with a smaller group of close friends or family. I am a huge reader and read all types of articles, news, nonfiction and novels. I am exploring my career options and considering going back to school. I value good conversation and my family/friends are an important part of my life that I hope any potential partner can value as well. I think of relationships like Ven Diagrams, 80-90% a relationship should be shared together with your partner but 10-20% can be space for the individuals to cultivate and maintain other interests that may not find an intersection in the relationship. I like to travel and some people would call me a free spirit.
