This is not the first time I've tried using CM. I'll be honest, I haven't had the best experiences on here. I've learned that are some disadvantages to the online forum, but there are some good components as well. So why am I back? Good question. Leave it to say that God hasn't given up on me, so I am trying to act in kind. Second, I live and work in a small town setting. There are definitely pluses and minuses to living and working in a rural area (I have lived in both the country and city). That said, it is rather difficult for me to meet single women, especially practicing Catholic women. I will be upfront and just say that I am first and foremost, looking for like-minded friends. If romance blossoms, fantastic, but that isn't the end all be all for me. I am at least committed for a year or two to my current geographical location for employment purposes. Third, a little about me: I am a Southern California transplant living and working in Southern Colorado (Southern Colorado was not my first choice, I was trying to move to the Denver/CO Springs area, but God has a funny way of only opening certain doors. However, I have been pleasantly surprised living 40 miles outside of Alamosa). I decided to move to Colorado for several reasons, one of which being my passion for the great outdoors. Hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, etc. I plan on starting fly fishing soon. I've never hunted before, but that is next on my list. I grew up in a small mountain town then later on a vineyard. I attended college in Los Angeles where I majored in English (so yeah, I'm an English nerd. But hey, it's better to be a witty fool than a foolish wit, right? haha). After college I attended law school in Orange County. Some other random facts: I have a Basset Hound named MacDuff, I brew beer, and like to work on muscle cars. I taught guitar lessons professionally while in college and still like to play today. I also enjoy cooking, especially Italian (Ok, I admit I am also Italian but cooking is one of the best stress relievers out there!) There is always more to say, but I think that is enough for now. Cheers!

I'm a fun loving guy. I'm serious at work, but I know how to have a good time otherwise. I like to be spontaneous. I enjoy all types of activities Movies, sports, music and have a rich social life. I enjoy playing sports especially baseball, and played for a semi-pro team in years past. I lead a healthy life style by that I mean I go to the gym, and like to stay fit, and for the most part eat healthy. I do indulge every now and then on special occasions, or on those free for all/everything goes kind of nights with my beautiful daughters! Over all I am down to earth, easy to talk to, and a great listener. I have been working on my self for a while and feel like it is time to meet someone that shares similar interests and goals. I like a person who knows what direction they are headed, but realizes that the trip is always better with company.

When I imagine my ideal life, I picture a family gathered around a cozy fire on a cool fall evening. My husband is stretched out on the couch reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to a gaggle of children draped across various chairs and corners of the floor. Left overs from dinner are put away and the dishes are washed, but a faint scent of roasted chicken and homemade apple pie lingers in the air. I am sitting in my rocking chair quilting a baby blanket to donate to the local pregnancy center and enjoying the story quite as much as the children. When the chapter is ended, we light the candles and pass out the rosaries. About half an hour later, when the Rosary and night prayers are concluded, the children are tucked into their beds, my husband and I will slip out hand in hand for a peaceful walk under the stars. (Don't worry, by this time, the oldest is more than capable of babysitting.) What does life look like in reality? Well, I do sit around the fire on fall evenings, but its the disembodied voice from a book on tape that reads the Chronicles of Narnia. Sometimes I sew, but you might also find me working on illustrations for my sister's beginning reader series. The smell of homemade apple pie may be in the air, but you may not always find the dishes washed and put away, and I usually say my Rosary on the way to work in the mornings. Instead of being a stay at home mom who makes cheese and butter with fresh milk from the family cow and cans hundreds of quarts of fruits and vegetables each year, I teach third grade during the winter months and grow a modest garden in the summer. I do always manage to feed the chickens, cows, and foster kiddo's, but I must admit that I occasional resort to frozen pizza. I have a secret ambition to run a marathon, but I mostly only make it to the gym two or three times a week. Weekday nights are filled with appointments for my foster kiddo's and sometimes volleyball or basketball games for me. I reserve Sunday afternoons for relaxing things like fishing and hiking in the summer and watching football with Dad in the winter. I like entertaining friends with brunch or dinner every so often, and I enjoy their dry subtle humor as well as their silly jokes. Ask me to tell my favorite joke sometime. i will laugh, and you will roll your eyes.

I'm a graduate from CU Boulder. Go Buffs! I love the academic world and learning. I am helping build a house and am having a wonderful time doing it. I love to push myself to do new and exciting things. I love to laugh and smile. I'm looking for a woman who is in love with her faith, is honest, and wants to have a meaningful relationship. I pray for my future wife a lot. Mostly that she is safe and growing in her faith.

i truly believe that we have made life to complicated and have lost appreciation for the simpler things. I learn everyday from my 9 year old son that true happiness for him is us spending time riding our bikes to the river and skipping rocks. I value more than anything this time with him as I know how fleeting it is and in no time he will be going off to college. I also know that sharing those moments with someone in my life who has the same values of family and community will only bring my life full circle.

The pleasures in my life are simple ones I like to listen to music and dance and sing. I enjoy spending time with my pets. I wouldn't miss Sunday Mass for anything, Father Ben is the best. I live my life as a Catholic and see it as the best part of me. I have a sense of humor and can be quite entertaining. I can also appreciate a quite moment. I wish I had someone to go for a walk with or share a meal or stargaze.

First I'd like to say that I have a beautiful, sweet and loving 12 year old daughter who is the air that I breathe. When we're together we'll take in movies, go out to have lunch or dinner, go rollerskating or hang out at the local parks along with other fun things to do. My first passion is my's my first love and my second income. I do graphite or color pencil drawings of mostly western themes, which are my favorite. I also consider myself to be a good human being. I've never been in trouble with the law, I'm respectful towards others and their space, a good listener and very empathetic...instilled by my former Paratrooper father who believed in God, country and family. In that order. He was a tough man but raised his kids according to how the Bible says you should raise messin' around on that man's time! Besides hanging out with my daughter every other weekend and my aforementioned drawing, I love to fish. LOVE. I also love to watch movies , especially a good comedy.( I should've mentioned earlier that I have a crazy sense of veers off to the left sometimes!) I'm one heckuva cook too! I can throw down with the best of 'em, no kidding! I'm a blue collar guy...what you see is what you get. I have no hidden agendas or baggage. Doesn't take much to make me happy. I think the best things in life are the simplest things that we sometimes take for granted. Put God first and everything falls into place. Wouldn't you agree?
