I would really like to find a woman who I can go to Mass with, share and grow in faith with, and hopefully everything else will fall into place but that's the thing I want most in a relationship. I think piety and reverence are what make a woman beautiful. I'll cherish her when I find her. As long as she's not a trump supporter. At 45, I FINALLY learned how to do a cartwheel!! I worked a summer camp and a 9 year old girl taught me. For some reason, I drink with my pinky out. Don't judge, I'm already self conscious. Personality type---> ISFJ I make rosaries, I am an aspiring evangelist, I like watching EWTN. I sponsor a child through unbound, its a great catholic charity. For the most part I am a homebody. I want to learn to write icons I discerned the priesthood (i love the Salvatorians, thats the order i wouldve chosen) for many years but am going back to school for something else. If I marry I would definitely look into the diaconate. I have thought about fostering teenagers. I am pro life- the unborn, against the death penalty, pray to end gun violence, and respect all God's creation, I don't mind hunting but hate to see majestic animals dead in pictures with a smiling person above them. What does that prove? I would like to help people getting out of prison find housing, jobs, and the Church. I get choked up during Mass, certain hymns, prayers, or whenever I feel Christ's mercy or grace or the holy spirit. I put this last so only those who read the whole thing will know I'm a wuss, uh, I mean sensitive. In certain instances.

I am passionate about surrounding myself with people who build each other up. I believe that though life can be unbearable, surrounding oneself with those who inspire, support you, then happiness follows. I am influenced by family members & friends who embrace the outdoors. Can't turn down hiking, biking, running at Wash Park, slinging a frisbee if you have good hands, or banter with peeps at outdoor rooftop patio socials. I happen to attend Immaculate Conception cathedral on Sundays when possible & that Salve Regina rendition is not bad at all. It can give you goosebumps at the end of mass, until you open the front door. Socializing at happy hour or a more intimate setting works both ways for me, basking under the Colorado sun, absorbing vitamin D or watching the sunset together.

Hmmmm, 58 yrs...not old, not young. Just right. Life is good at this point and I would love to find someone to share it with. Since my wish list includes someone who shares my faith, I thought I would give this a try. My faith is important to me, I am doing my best to live my life with the Lord guiding my way. I go to church weekly and believe in the golden rule. I come from a large Hispanic family with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. My parents and sisters live in Denver and they keep me grounded. I live in a small town north of Denver and commute in to Thornton for work. I love the Colorado outdoors, the mountains, hiking, a good book, the beach, live music, good food, good wine and traveling. I chose to see life as a glass half full. I am blessed and will do my best to share what I have with others.

I love learning new things, especially the Faith. The outdoors is my favorite place to be, both hiking and driving around in my car. Family and friends are very important to me because they are the ones who will help you the most when things are bad, and are the best people to share the joyous times with. Something that I look forward to the most is celebrating the different feast days that our Church offers with friends. I was in the Army for 8 years and learned a lot about how to get through difficult situations and the whole experience made me a better person. After the Army I entered a Carmelite Monastery in TX and was there for two years. My experience in the Monastery really rounded me out so to speak. I left after becoming a Novice because my grandmother needed extra help handling her arthritis. I also needed to use up my GI Bill at the time I was not interested in going to school online and campus was the better option for me. Not so much for the cloister. The people who influenced me the most are; Sister Mary Grace and my Grandma Lydia, who I took care of the last three years. In my free time I like to study politics and religion, listen to and play music, watch crime shows, and go hiking in the various areas of Colorado Springs. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.
