59, Englewood, COAfter reading about the Church for several years and attending Mass for two years, I entered the Church on the Easter Vigil 2007. My friends and family, mostly evangelical, are having a hard time understanding this, but I hope they will come to understand it soon. On to more mundane things. Some of the things I like to do are read, play golf, and play tennis. (Mostly I read Catholic stuff: Ratzinger (now Benedict), Hahn, Ronald Knox, John Paul II, etc.)
69, Crowley, COI am a young at heart guy and have always been a practicing catholic. I am looking for a woman who also values her catholic faith. I do attend Sunday mass regularly and believe my faith is an essential part of my life. I would have to say my faith is my passion. It would be great to find a woman which we would find common interests and discover new interests we both could enjoy. I would appreciate a photo. I am retired U.S. Navy and lived on both coasts and in Mansfield, Texas, when I was stationed at Navy Dallas. I am divorced with two sons who both enlisted and served in the U. S. Navy. I am currently employed with the same job for over 25 years, and plan to work just another year, and retire. I work to stay fit and have done so over the years. I jog, work out with weights, and love to swim. I like working in the yard and eating out, as well as cooking sometimes. I listen to mostly country and western music; but enjoy listening to blues, easy sounds and music of the 70's, 80's, and 90's. I am not afraid to get on the dance floor., although it has been some time since I have done so. I like to be somewhat spontaneous. I will act on what appeals to me, weighing sound sensible factors, as I am a cautious person. I try to find the best of in people. I like going to movies, browsing in the book store, and talking about current events. I like walks, the mountains, camping, fishing, as well as the beach. I like to play golf also, but am not a fanatic about really anything. My faith guides me as man who believes it has worked for me personally, and try to read the "Word," daily. "The Word" gives me a calming reassurance, and strength of faith for my day.
23, U S A F Academy, COHey! I'm Brent and I'm currently attending the Air Force Academy (West Point, but way better). What am I passionate about? That's a pretty broad one...But I guess I can give a little taste of what I like to do! Firstly, I'm passionate about new experiences. I've moved 12 times before college and have seen a lot of the world. However every time I return to a place years later, I notice things I'd never noticed before. That "wow" moment never gets old. I'm passionate about photography (although I'm still new to it). I'm passionate about cars. I live and breathe cars! However, I'm most passionate about my family. They are the world to me and are responsible for all my successes. Alright all done with the sappy stuff... What do I enjoy for my leisure time? Well, I'd have to have leisure time in the first place! On a more serious note, I find working out clears my mind. So too does a long drive in the mountains! I mean, HAVE YOU BEEN THROUGH INDEPENDENCE PASS? My baby (the car I just bought) will be helping me out with that no problem. I love to fly! I've dreamed of being a fighter pilot since I was very young and there's no stopping me now! Just imagine Tom Cruise without the bad haircut and the cheesy lines. Well...okay maybe just without the bad haircut. I joke around a lot but only in good company. But I consider myself to be much more mature for my age. I easily spot the immaturaties and bad habits many of my peers have....so that's why I'm here!
38, Denver, COHello! Is it me you're looking for? First fun fact, I'm originally from North Dakota and have lived in Michigan, Idaho, Wyoming and Minnesota and yes, I'm a hockey fan. I'm looking to make many friends but only one lover. It all starts with a conversation, but I don't live in a computer and happen to like real world a lot, so say hello, let's talk, then try some fresh local brews, coffee or craft (beer). If you have 97 seconds, I encourage you to take my "interview." If you have 5 minutes, you might want to find something more productive to do. And now, onto my spiel. Cheese is one of the best things ever invented. They don't make things like they used to. Not everyone wins. Snow is hilarious. Romance is a lifestyle. Fall is for families and nostalgia. Love can not be wasted. There's always more to learn. You can never have too many friends. Being vague isn't deep. Success is earned. Life is best shared. Stews taste better in winter. Coffee should not distract from conversation.
49, Loveland, COI am blessed to be a mother and grandmother. I enjoy spending time with my family and visiting friends and family. I love the outdoors, living in Colorado, and the Broncos. I am a cradle Catholic, left the Church briefly in my late teens and found my way home shortly after. Thanks be to God! I am very active in my Parish and attend Mass weekly (would go every day if possible). My beautiful Mom is the biggest influence in my life and I feel very blessed that I was adopted thru Catholic Charities, raised in a Christian home and continue to learn and grow in my spiritual life. My biggest challenge is my older children don't have the same passion and zeal I have for the Church and are no longer attending or have a desire. I look forward to a new year, new experiences and possibilities.
