I am passionate about travel especially road trips, passionate about family., I only have two grandchildren 14 and 17 yrs of age. Leisure time is spend in anything I desire within reason. Unfortunately most friends are either still working or unable to get away, forward to spending time in and with nature.(second nature to me) I was a member of Colo. Mountain Club. The most influential people in my life have been my parents and the experiences they offered us. I love nature ,I grew up with it, was my way of life. Among other things I enjoy spending time sharing my life with a man who has an open mind about life.

I'm a dedicated professional living my life according to old fashioned morals. I'm an Eagle Scout so I love hiking, and camping and basically anything outdoors. I'm also a writer and I write poetry, along with some short stories. I'm physically active doing MMA workouts several times a week and going out swing dancing when time allows for it. I'm also a geek as I love Lord of the Rings (LOTR) and Star Wars, and Japanese animation (the clean stuff like Princess Mononoke). I enjoy getting together with friends and playing board games, or watching movies. I'm a fan of the Marvel Studios movies and collected comics when I was younger. Right now my main drive is to get into the best shape of my life so I can really hit the mountain trails around Denver and hike to my heart's content. I feel God's presence most keenly surrounded by the majesty of nature.

My name is Ian and I'm from Golden, Colorado. I'm an alumni of Benedictine College I'm quite reserved at first but once getting to know people or events I warm up and can talk about things. Even though I'm reserved, my friends say I'm outgoing since I know everyone. I'm not a naturally born leader but friends and family say that I'm a leader by example in my actions. In my spare time I enjoy watching TV, staying up to date with current events, writing, reading, video games, photography and video, and having an active lifestyle.

I am happiest when everyone around me is happy. I love cooking for/feeding people as much as your average grandmother. I enjoy activities that require being in good shape. Oreos are my secret weakness. I never buy them, because I just eat the whole bag in a single go. I like my vacations only loosely planned, to leave plenty of room for improvisation. I am probably better than anyone else you know at baking pies and making paper airplanes. I'm more introverted than extroverted, but fall nearer the middle of the spectrum than either extreme. I used to be completely terrified of public speaking and of dancing, but find I am enjoying both more and more as I get older (still terrible at dancing, though). I love trying new things. My favorite hobby is collecting new hobbies. Amongst others, and in no particular order, here are a number of hobbies I really enjoy: - Skiing (downhill and water/slalom) - Running - Hiking - Backpacking - Playing Board Games - Reading (especially classic literature, non-fiction, and science fiction) - Cooking/Baking - Mountain Biking - ALL Racquet Sports - Helping Plants Grow

I'm a fun loving, spontaneous, and have an adventurous spirit. There are days where I loved to get dolled up, and then there are days where I really want to wear sweatpants. I'm not too concerned about impressing people unless they have my up-most respect, like my parents and teachers. That being said, it's not my prerogative to be rude to anyone. I may be sassy at times, but I ultimately find myself caring a lot about other people and dogs. I absolutely love dogs! On the more descriptive side, I'm a Civil Engineering student, daughter, sister, friend, and Catholic. I enjoy travelling, trying new things, and working out (although I may be bad at a few things i.e. swimming and running). I'm currently working hard to improve my swimming time, and I'm on an intramural dodge ball team. I love movies, books, tea, hammocking, camping, sleep (engineering student), and I really want to start gardening. I'm very passionate about school, and it is my intent to save the world one day!

Hello.........I moved from Montana to Denver 21/2 years ago, shortly after I retired, to be nearer my three kids who all settled in Colorado after their college years. I love living here in Denver and am here to stay. Being an active, on-the-go type person, I would love to meet an active guy who enjoys doing some of the same things I enjoy. My latest craze is Pickleball. Check it out if you haven't tried it. I'd like to say I golf, but actually, I'm more of a "hacker." I do like golf though, and I especially like golf course settings. At any rate, I walk, hike, or participate in some type of exercise almost daily. I love movies, theater, concerts, and musicals, and I enjoy Denver's museums and beautiful botanical gardens. Of course, I love dining out at the latest eating establishments. I rarely miss a Bronco's game (tv), and I like attending Rockies games. Love to travel too. My family and friends are very important to me. I feel certain they would tell you that I am a loving, caring, and loyal mother, family member, and friend. I am definitely a people-person. My health is good (luckily!), and I take pride in my appearance. I would like the same in a partner, but I am reasonable and realize that "age" catches up with everyone, sooner or later. I think Calvin Coolidge says this profoundly: "Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent." - Calvin Coolidge I like these ideas about HOW TO LOVE: 1. Listen without interrupting 2. Speak without accusing 3. Give without sparing 4. Pray without ceasing 5. Answer without arguing 6. Share without pretending 7. Enjoy without complaint 8. Trust without wavering 9. Forgive without punishing 10. Promise without forgetting

I have a particular humour that makes me unique, you'll just have to ask if you want to know more about that. I'm a gentleman and hopeless romantic... yes we do exist :-), I listen to every song though I'm more into old school. Love to cook sometime and dancing, anything that keeps me active. Also enjoy going to parks and lakes, on the other hand a night in on the couch cuddled up with that special someone watching a movie would be just as nice too.

Sunrise and sunsets are my thing..I simple love watching the sun set.. God's own painting and it is so relaxing. Music and singing and laughing and hugging people. Yes...love that now!! Interacting with people, friends, but..if they are not around.I love reading or writing..or cooking and baking. To see friends and family enjoy the different tastes makes my heart soar! Walking in the country or just watching the ocean..if ever near the ocean. So peaceful. My father (RIP) had a great influence in my life. He was kindhearted and always saw to it that others' had. He taught me what humility was about and always said that my faith is what I had to always hold on too, no matter what. He often told me that I had to reflect on things that I am grateful and thankful for. It can be difficult when one has lost it all..but, God is good and never forgets as He does grant us our tiny miracles..in His time though! This might sound awful..but I enjoy going to Mass..to close my eyes and know that I am in His presence... Christmas time for me..we await the birth of Christ..yet there will be so many many lonely people out there.. including myself. but..God is good...and we will get our miracles..even though surrounded by friends at times, one still feels lonely. I guess I am just weird!! lol..
