38, Denver, COHello! Is it me you're looking for? First fun fact, I'm originally from North Dakota and have lived in Michigan, Idaho, Wyoming and Minnesota and yes, I'm a hockey fan. I'm looking to make many friends but only one lover. It all starts with a conversation, but I don't live in a computer and happen to like real world a lot, so say hello, let's talk, then try some fresh local brews, coffee or craft (beer). If you have 97 seconds, I encourage you to take my "interview." If you have 5 minutes, you might want to find something more productive to do. And now, onto my spiel. Cheese is one of the best things ever invented. They don't make things like they used to. Not everyone wins. Snow is hilarious. Romance is a lifestyle. Fall is for families and nostalgia. Love can not be wasted. There's always more to learn. You can never have too many friends. Being vague isn't deep. Success is earned. Life is best shared. Stews taste better in winter. Coffee should not distract from conversation.
52, Denver, COI'm passionate about my daily walk with Christ and my family! I enjoy being with the people I love, anything outdoors, dancing, reading, yoga, music, 4-wheeling and most sports. I thoroughly enjoy my career and giving back - especially to young people. I don't really like being on the computer outside of work hours and have never been on a site like this, so we'll see how this goes! I'm not real fond of 'messaging,' but enjoy talking face-to-face and getting to know people.
32, Denver, CONote: If you do not accept all of the Church's teachings then there's no point in reading any further. I'm new to Colorado. I moved out here to begin my teaching career. I love helping my students learn and grow. I'm so lucky to have a job that I love and that really does make a difference in the world. Seeing their expressions change as they start to understand something new is an indescribable joy for me. I don't just like teaching, I also enjoy learning. I'm an incurable bookworm and especially love history, theology, and classic literature. I enjoy being outdoors, whether that involves biking around the city or going for a walk in the woods. I haven't explored Denver too much yet, but I hope that over the upcoming summer that will change. I'm also a sci-fi geek. I will hardly pass up an invitation to watch shows like: Babylon 5, Cowboy Bebop, Stargate, Farscape, Star Trek, etc. Socially, I'm a bit of a contradiction. I can stand in front of large groups of students each day and teach them without the slightest bit of anxiety. And yet, I find it very difficult to get to know new people. I'm not sure why that is, but it's something I'm trying to work on.
24, Westminster, COHi! My name is Lauren. I am one of those people who likes many things, but mostly the good, simple things. You may find me being a lector at Mass, cantoring at Mass, playing violin in the choir loft, being a Eucharistic minister, singing in the backyard, dancing with my dad, teaching this or that child, taking a walk with my dog (cocker spaniel), reading my Bible or other books, making new friends, wondering at nature, etc. Swimming is my favorite sport and I love going when I can. I also enjoy diving. I swam before I walked and am very at home in the water. I took swimming lessons from when I was a baby until I was ready for swim team at maybe age 7 and then did summer swim team for 6-7 years. I also enjoy taking hikes in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Archery is fun as well! I have even done some cross-country skiing. I love people and often make it a point to go say "hello" to people I know and often enough go meet new people. Smiling and laughing are on my favorites list. I would definitely describe myself as someone who is "joyfully Catholic." I turn to God in joy, in trials, in thankfulness, in need, in awe, etc. I marvel at God's creation. I often look up and gaze at the stars, revel in the distant mountains, behold the color of the sky, delight in the flowers and in various shades of color, and wonder in the beauty of the people God made. I am very close with my parents. It is so important to me to live near my parents. My dad has always been my hero. Mother has long been my best friend. I have learned so much from my good parents. They have taught me how to know, love and serve God by word and example. I am so thankful for all that they have done for me. I am very practical and not require luxuries. I like beauty, but simplicity. I think thrift stores are great. Just the same, I like quality. Also, modesty in dress and manner are very important to me. I want Our Lady and St. Padre Pio to be pleased with what I wear and how I act.
