63, Wallingford, CTI'm the middle of three children. . I enjoy the simple things in life, which I feel has been blessed in so many ways. Humor and laughter (which is very important) give me a sense of balance that I could not do without. A walk in the evening, watching the stars and the moon or just listening to the gentle sounds all around me, I find soothing. Though I must admit thunder storms tend to lull me to blissful sleep at night. Love the water ever since I went to the Thimble Islands, just can't get there as much as I would like (no one to go with). I guess I'll just have to make do with sunrises and sunsets. I strive to be a gentleman as opposed to being a man. The phrase "How is this pleasing to God?" is the basis for whatever I do. The Cloister in Guilford holds a special place in my heart as well as the Lourdes shrine in Litchfield. I love working in a seminary. I meet people from around the world, learn about different cultures, customs and food. In my small way I help mentor these young men toward their goal of being ordained into the priesthood. I enjoy the celebrations put on by our spanish community during the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Am I perfect? To be honest with myself I would have to say no. I do try to learn from my mistakes. If I'm wrong about something I'll admit it. Did I mention that I enjoy singing in the choir?
74, Bethany, CTMy interests are legion. I enjoy my profession; I am an Accounting Professor. I like interacting with people, especially students who challenge me intellectually and keep me young in mind and heart. Oil painting, and the arts in general, appeal to me. I enjoy watching my oil paintings develop - from the mental inspiration to spreading pigments covering the blank canvas with colors, shapes and forms as I seek to tell a story with my paints. A widower who has raised to adulthood three boys and one girl since my wife's death, I really like kids. I enjoy spending time with my family, and with my two grandsons. World traveling appeals to me greatly. I have travelled all over the USA and Canada. Western and Central Europe have become my second home. On average, I travel to Europe at least twice a year. Life in the woods of Bethany, CT, is great fun. I love watching the wildlife that parades through my property: the deer, the wild turkeys, the squirrels, chipmonks, and rabbits; and the birds that fly overhead: the hawks, canada geese, crows, robbins, cardinals, blue jays and the birds that visit in winter. An academic, I like to write and to read. Good and great literature provide me with intellectual stimulation and challenge me to expand the world of my thoughts. Attending plays and music performances, visiting museums, hiking in the woods. These I enjoy. Perhaps, the thing I like most is a quiet evening with a good female conversationalist who enjoys life and is full of enthusiasm.

64, Windsor Locks, CTHello there! I'm glad you chose to find out a little bit more about me. WYSIWYG pretty much sums it up (What You See Is What You Get). We're all looking for someone to love and be loved. Making ordinary moments that much more special by sharing it with that certain special someone. If you're a man who believes in the church's teaching of chastity before marriage, and be willing to make that sacrifice with me, I promise you won't be disappointed. My faith is very important to me, and I would like to meet a man who can appreciate this side of me. Being near the ocean watching the waves break on the beach, walking hand in hand in the moonlight or just having fun kidding around with each other are some things I'd like share with you. I have a good sense of humor and certainly can laugh at myself! Life is too short for games and heartaches. I'm looking for the "real deal!" If you believe good things are worth waiting for, then I'd love to hear from you. Ready to take a leap of faith?

63, Meriden, CTLife is an adventure! Life lived from the perspective of the Catholic Christian faith, for me, frames this adventure. There has always been so much to learn, to experience, and to practice, that I have never yet found the right man to whom to commit in married life - - although I believe that if it is in God's plan for me, it will come to pass. The most influential persons in my life have been family: four grandparents (all living either upstairs or just down the street), Mom and Dad, two brothers, and the extended clan. Besides this lot, there are a few good friends, and, throughout all the years, always one or two very special friends whom I most admire. My interests range from ongoing learning (currently in philosophy) to fishing and beachgoing; gardening and cooking to bicycling; music (especially baroque and sacred classical) reading, classic films, travel, and more stuff than I can squeeze into this little space! I prefer understatement in this forum, so I'll close here, for now...
