I am not really comfortable talking about myself. I am almost done raising my 4 kids and am a widow with the rest of my life to live. I am not sure I want to do it alone. Not really sure what I am looking for as far as relationship, I just feel we should take it one step at a time. I like to have fun and laugh. I try to find the humor in all the stuff that life is throwing at me instead of letting it bring me down. I am a intelligent woman that would like to find someone that can laugh and carry on a conversation. Someone to do spend time with and see where life leads.

Hi, I'm Kathleen! I feel like I'm a pretty relaxed person; I enjoy reading and writing, watching movies, and listening to music. I'm into comics and sci-fi so I'm a bit nerdy, but I feel like that also makes me interesting.I love to travel and do so as often as possible. My ideal day is a gray, rainy day where I can curl up with a good book and a cup of tea. My family have been a huge influence on my life, especially my mother. She has been an exceptional model at how to be a child of Christ. She is the person who started me volunteering and helped me to find God everywhere I looked. I have a younger brother and two older half brothers. I'm an avid blood donor and I was given the opportunity to be a bone marrow donor to a young girl with leukemia last summer. I'm excited to see what the future holds!

"Human beings "plan", and God laughs" -- Do you believe that statement is true? It seems to be my experience so far, so I'm sure willing to work with Him going forward. I have good, close relationships with my two adult sons, a job that challenges me daily, very good close friends, and the world's best dog, Sometimes though, I'd very much like to be half of a "couple."

HI I am an energetic lady who looks forward to sharing what life has to offer with that special gentleman. A great night out would be meeting that special gent and doing what we love together, whether it is going for dinner, movies or visiting friends. The key is we enjoy each other and have some great belly laughs. Even staying in and cooking together is a blast. It really won't matter because the look in our eyes when we speak with each other is one of total caring and wanting to know what the other person is thinking. Really caring about how was your day :) The most influential people in my life are my parents. They are my heroes. They raised 6 children in a time when the mother stayed home to prepare life for us. She was always there whether it was when we got off the school bus or when we feel and cut our knees. My father was a police officer who valued time with his family and wanted the best for us. Vacations were simple, day trips with a loaf of bread and peanut butter and jelly ... We never felt lack and we always felt loved and cared for. I look forward to finding out about you, Donna

I am passionate about Italian cooking and The Mediterranean Way of life. I lived in Italy for 8 years teaching ESL and studying Italian and massage therapy and I fell in love with the way of life there. I am working on a lifestyle website presenting the The Mediterranean way of life to people because I just think it so much healthier than our lifestyle here in the US which has become has become so fast paced and stressful. So I'm looking forward to getting my website up and running hopefully by Springtime! My parents' divorce when I was 9 and being raised by my father has definitely been one of the most influential experiences in my life, that and living in Italy for 8 years after college. What do I enjoy doing with my leisure time? Cooking and eating, spending time with my family and friends, reading and watching movies. I like traveling when I can afford it.
  • Anne, 51 from Bethel, CT

Hi. I am a single mom, intelligent, enthusiastic, who loves adventure. Originally from Manhattan, I still love the City and taking day trips. I love to travel when I can. I love to read, cook, bake. I enjoy gardening, running, dancing. My favorite thing is to have a nice dinner party for a few friends. Family is important to me. I enjoy painting in my free time to unwind and relax. I am looking for someone who enjoys children and likes to enjoy life. Someone who is youthful at heart with a good energy level and open minded and adventurous. I enjoy taking care of people and especially the man in my life. I am pretty old fashioned when it comes to dating and values. A great sense of humor is also appreciated as humor helps to get through some of life's tough times. I am looking for someone who is interested in finding their best friend and love. Chemistry is very important but it is also important to realize that relationships take a commitment and have to be built up over time through honesty and trust. And they need to be continuously worked on. I enjoy a good conversation on ideas beyond our everyday existence. I am looking to meet someone around my age so if you are much younger or older I will not reply. Same goes for anyone further than an hour's drive. Good luck to everyone.
