I am a 40 year old elementary school teacher. I grew up in New Jersey (Go Devils!), but moved to Connecticut in 2005. I live in my great uncle's house with my cousin...and I always manage to bring the fun. We are known for having unbeatable themed parties to celebrate our birthdays, New Years Eve, and the Office TV show--complete with costumes, games and, of course, prizes. I have six nieces and nephews who I live farther away from then I would like, but I have a lot of little second cousins that I love to spoil rotten. I enjoy teaching a great deal, but in my spare time I like to spend time doing pretty much anything with my family, read, watch TV or movies, going to hear bands and dancing. I have a large extended family and we are a pretty active bunch.

I have a great sense of humor and enjoy trying new things and seeing new places. I am a widow and have had a great career and family but would enjoy sharing my life with someone special. I would like to meet a guy who likes to have fun and is honest and kind. Sounds simple........

Dont be fooled by the photographs, Im only a beginner at skiing:) I posted the pictures because I skied once with someone who was a good photographer. Ill be honest because thats whats important to me I dont consider myself very religious, I was raised Catholic and thats what I believe but I dont attend Church regularly. I suppose if I were raising a family things would be different. I am more of a proponent of my countrys first amendment. I love the idea of an unalienable right to freedom of religion. I realize I am a home body, I see enough of the world having to travel for work that when I am home I feel very content to be here.

I am the managing editor of the CatholicMatch Institute and I write for many other Catholic publications. I received my undergraduate degree from Christendom College in Philosophy and received my masters in Dogmatic Theology from Holy Apostles College. I am currently the only single aunt with almost 30 nieces and nephews! Besides my faith and very close family, I love coffee, singing and snacking on chocolate all day long. Check out my posts (by clicking on the blog tab) and leave me a comment! I look forward to the conversation.

What I look forward to the most is spring time when everything turns green. The two most influential people in my life were my grandfathers, one was the kindest man I ever knew and the other was the smartest. In my leisure time I like to ride my motorcycles.I am looking

Hi! I guess I'll start by saying that I am Mexican and that I have been living in CT for almost two years. I love it! But if I could make a small request...can we have a shorter winter, please??? This Mexican blood of mine barely made through this past winter. Other things I love (besides CT) are dancing, reading (taut psychological thrillers are a big fave), traveling to new places or revisiting favorites, cooking for/with friends, good tequila, spending time with my family, and reading bedtime stories to my nephews and tucking them in. Some of the things I'm most grateful for are my faith, my family, my friends, and to have had the opportunity to live in different countries and cities throughout my life. I have been blessed to have met great people at amazing places doing awesome things. I'm easy going and fun-loving. In my free time I enjoy having a night out trying a new restaurant and dancing as much as spending an evening curled up with a good book and/or movie. If you have any good recommendations please send them my way.

I love being with others as we share a bit of food and drink, conversations full of laughter, and some great music playing in the background. My favorite activities are being with that special someone as we hike, kayak, play at the beach, or take a sail on the ocean.

I don't expect perfection, but a true soulmate sure would be nice. Someone who has mutual interests. The same passion for life, romance that never ends, laughter, learning, loving. I want someone who wants to give and receive respect and compassion. Someone who is honest, loyal, sincere, and who can make me laugh. My best friend and the love of my life. I want to share sunsets on the beach, live music concerts of all types, rock, blues, jazz, visit a winery or a brew pub, go for a hike, visit a flea market, cook a romantic candlelit dinner, share the newspaper on Sundays, go to see a new movie or stay in and watch an old classic. I want to travel near and far. I have three great grown-up children. I want to continue to watch their lives develop and spend as much time with them as I can. I want to share special times with family and friends who are close by. I want to do whatever makes us happy and live life to its fullest. I want to go to sleep every night looking into the eyes of the man I'll love even more the next day when we wake up together. I won't settle for less.

I like to travel, read, cook, and be outside. I am really passionate about philosophy, theology, language (I speak German fluently and I am going to Rome this summer to study Latin), and "Western art music."
