66, Darien, CTI'm a widow with a young son in the 8th grade. My husband died of Cancer in 2004. I'm 60 years old. I work 20 hours/week as assistant to the Chair of Pediatrics at a local hospital. I love children so much and had always hoped to have a large family, but God made my life path somewhat different. Having gone back to work after 7 years home as a full time mom has meant giving up most of any "free" time I might have. My "free" time since then has been devoted to keeping his world as stable as possible since he was only in first grade when his dad died. Personally, I like to be outside as much as possible (as long as the weather is decent!). I have a good sense of humor, am artistic and kind. I have a master's degree and would someday like to complete a doctoral program. I love learning, lived overseas and speak German. I like a variety of music and reading. I like the simple things in life basically. Trust means a great deal to me and loyalty, faithfullness and hope are critical. I have a firm Irish Catholic faith which is more on the charasmatic side of things I suppose.

58, Sandy Hook, CTMost people would describe me as quiet but also genuinely interested in others, drawing out and enjoying their good qualities. I am a person of integrity, honest and straightforward careful in my decisions, very dependable and quick to make things right when I am wrong. I love humor...it enriches relationships and keeps me from getting too analytical. I am conservative and have traditional values. I am an engineer with a large aircraft company. I specialize in all the aspects of integrating the engine design with the aircraft design and do a lot of work with flight testing, the FAA and also aircraft safety and crash investigation. I have masters in engineering and in business. Recently I have been working at a slow pace on a bachelors degree in music. I love the outdoors...hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, waterskiing, downhill and x-country skiing. I enjoy swing and Irish set dancing. I love old classic movies. I also love to fix and restore things and improve my home. My relationship with God became very real when I was 14 and my family became involved with the Catholic Charismatic renewal. This led me also to participate with Protestant communities as I sought to learn more of the Bible and understand Protestants as the other side of the Christian family who had a similar experience of personal faith. I have been closely involved with a charismatic/evangelical Anglican community for over 25 years but did not give up my Catholic tradition. I don't always attend mass on Sundays because on many Sundays I worship with the Anglican community I volunteer with prison ministry and music ministry. I also organize the National Day of Prayer in my town and have a Bible study in my home
26, Danbury, CTI think I've rewritten this about a million times. I guess even with online dating the nerves still kick in. What can I say? I'm a simple woman. I'm loving, very outgoing and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I can laugh at corny jokes for probably longer than anyone should, but I really do get a kick out of them. I love to go out and explore the world- try new things- but nothing makes me happier than being at home, inviting a couple friends/family over and cooking dinner and just enjoying each other's presence. I'm actually pretty into football- everyone is always so shocked, lol. But nothing is better than some chicken wings and football after Sunday mass!
