I'll start by saying that I am shy and quiet...I'm not much of a talker. I do tend to open up more and become a little less shy once I get to know someone. I enjoy people with a great sense of humor. Playing sports is one of my favorite hobbies. This past summer I played softball two nights a week. I am a huge sports fan. I love the Yankees and Giants football. I also enjoy others sports, but the two I previously mentioned are my top teams/sports. I recently just began taking Irish dancing classes. My musical tastes are traditional Irish music and country music. I'm member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It's one of my favorite places on the planet. Give me an iPod stacked with the Clancy Brothers, a hot dog, and a day at the Met... I'm all set :D I went to Catholic school my entire life, including college. I attended Mass every week until I was 22. When my grandmother (whom I was very close to) died, I stopped going. I go to Mass for holidays and special occasions now. I saw my best friend's parents recently and her father said something that resonated with me... He said that her mother "came back" to the Church. Not that she left, but after her daughter's death she was dealing with the stages of grief. And she got past the anger with God stage. I don't quite know how to explain what he meant. But after hearing that, I started thinking that maybe I am still in that anger stage...even though it has been quite a while. Anyway, that's where I stand as of now regarding attending Mass. My friends would describe me as passionate, caring, funny, athletic, awesome, and a good drinker. I'm a proud Irish-Italian Catholic woman who knows how to have fun but also when to get serious.Well, that's all I've got right now. If there's anything you'd like to know, just ask.

I consider myself to be a very warm and friendly person. I'm definitely goofy and sarcastic and I love to make other people laugh! But as much as I love to have fun I also highly value genuine and serious conversations. I will always be there for the people that I love. I have a lot of interests but I can pretty much have fun doing anything as long as I enjoy the company I'm with.
  • Jess, 24 from Bethlehem, CT

Hi there, Im Jess! My motto is, walk by faith, and live with passion. I use my faith as my compass through everything in life and work hard to put my passions to use everyday. Im a very laid back and fun-loving person. I like to show others that they're important and I aim to make others smile. I'm a very determined and hardworking person and love to help others in any way I can. I just really enjoy life and good times with great company. I swear I was meant to be a southern girl, but I guess I was just raised that way. I believe in southern hospitality even in New England, and I love my small hometown. My family means the world to me and I hope I can find someone one day that will have the same value. Children are a huge part of my life and they always will be. Im working toward becoming a child life specialist: my dream career! My biggest dream is to have a family of my own someday and raise them with playgrounds, bonfires, and church on Sunday mornings instead of phones, tablets, and televisions every night. Feel free to message me and spark a conversation!

I'm a pretty easy going person who loves to laugh. I love hanging out with my friends, and can be a bit of an introvert at times. My family is very important to me, and have seen me through some really tough times. My family is very small so I feel like my friends are my extended family. I was born and raised in CT but went to college on the west coast. I love to travel, though I don't do it as much as I would like. I love sports. Football, baseball, and college basketball are my favorites, but I'm always up for watching a game. I'm looking for someone I can laugh with, will challenge me, is driven, and love me for who I am.

I am a 6 foot tall opera singer. I love singing, acting, dancing, and sushi! I am the second of 4 children and very proud of my family (we're kind of awesome)! I received my Bachelor of Arts from UCLA in 2016. I am now in the process of receiving my Masters in Music from Yale University. I love reading and movies, but also being active and going on adventures and probably one of the nerdiest people you'll meet, lol! I am usually scheduled within an inch of my life in rehearsals as an opera singer, but I would love to meet new people! Oh! And my confirmation saint is Saint Bernadette.
  • Laura, 29 from Shelton, CT
    29, Shelton, CT
Hi there! The first sentence of these descriptions are always the hardest to write, right? I'm Laura and I work as a graphic designer at a nearby university and also as a freelancer doing all sorts from projects from invitations to t-shirts to beer labels. I love art of all forms-- music, visual, written, theatre-- and enjoy it every chance I get. In particular, my friends are constantly asking me to either be their photographer or for permission to just steal my photos after the fact! I used to work in both a photography gallery and contemporary art museum, so I've gathered a few tricks of the trade when taking shots (and later decorating my home)! I grew up in Connecticut and recently moved back to the state, but I left a bit of my heart in Massachusetts. I lived in Boston for 5 years after college and loved exploring the city, visiting the weekend markets downtown, and eating my way though all of my favorite restaurant. Seriously, in addition to the friends I have in Massachusetts, some of my most missed things are certain sandwiches and meals! You might be able to tell that cooking and baking are a top some of my hobbies. I volunteer as a youth minister with a local parish and it is actually the same youth group that I was involved with in high school. I surround myself with a warm, compassionate, and truthful community and I'm glad to call some of those I met in youth group back in high school my very best friends. I didn't grow up with a large family, but my friends have taken on part of that role. Besides for them, I'm very close with my mom, so much so that we have a dinner date/ tv night every week. I love to laugh, celebrate the small moments, send mail, go exploring in a city, celebrate with friends, and relax at the bar with a board game. Each day is new so I intend on spending it to the best of my abilities! What's the current top item of my list of things I'd love to do? Be a balloon holder in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
