I was raised in a traditional Catholic family, but was a typical cradle-catholic until my early 30s. I am the youngest of 3 children. My parents are alive, my sister is married with 1 child and my brother has passed on. Since my early 30s I have taken my faith more seriously with the Bible as a central point to this. I have graduated from a 4-year Scripture course and have since been trained to lead one of the popular Bible study courses. I am shy and reserved by nature. I enjoy a good joke. I tend to eat healthy. By trade, I am a computer programmer and have been working for the same company for over 20 years. Hiking, biking, golfing and strength training are done when possible. Traveling to Franciscan University (Ohio) for the Defending the Faith & Applied Biblical Studies conferences is a yearly joy for me, which I plan to continue for years to come.

I am at peace with myself and I live in the present moment. I bind myself to no material thing and seek harmony with all. Life should be simple and remain free of ambition, I do not advance myself but endlessly become myself. I see the interconnectedness of all people bound together by God's compassion.

Hello! I reside in Southeastern CT, just recently moved here from PA and would like to meet someone who practices the faith seriously. I am a nurse and grandmother and have family in CT. I value a person who likes the simple things in life and enjoy children, music, theatre, cooking, baking, prayer, decorating, boating, playing piano, . Internal characteristics are of greater importance to me than external, although I place great value and respect on a clean, handsome, professional appearance. . I enjoy life as a gift each day to have the opportunity to experience and be grateful for. I am a caring people person, of service, active in serving in past parish ministries, and someone who would like to grow in faith and lifetime goals based upon a professional background. I also enjoy living, working or vacationing near the water, especially in the New England area where most of my family resides.

Widowed 11 years, 2 adult "children" who live in No. Stonington & Philadelphia PA. Golden Retriever (11 mos.) and I walk the parks of SE CT daily. Living on beachfront ( Niantic River, 2 years now) is spectacular -- 3 levels of floor to ceiling glass looking down river -- feels like I'm living on a cruise ship. Reilly Fiona will be introduced to my skiff this spring -- too young and restless to do so last summer.

I am intelligent, hardworking, a good mom and try to be a good person, and I have a good heart. I am a scientist, therefore a geek-lol! I have a good sense of humor and love to laugh. Some of my hobbies are going to the theater, going to comedy shows or watching stand-up routines, reading, watching movies, and ballroom dancing. I believe in living by Christian values and that through life's trials God teaches us many lessons if we are willing to learn.

I was born and raised in Salzburg, Austria and lived there until I was 11 years old. I then moved to the US where I went to high school and college. I'm back in Salzburg now, living with my brother, but frequently visit my family in the States. Interests After studying abroad in Spain for two semesters last year, I fell in love with Spanish culture everything from speaking the language, to the food, to dancing salsa and merengue. Even though Im back in Austria now, I try to keep up with those things with me wherever possible. I'm very into music. Ive been playing the piano on and off since I was 6. Drumming I picked up along the way, and I sing when I get the chance, such as in open mics. Lastly, I love sports. This past year I played semi-pro in an Austrian national league.

The most important and influential people in my life have always been my family. I love my parents and two siblings to death, and more than anything I wish to one day experience that same love and closeness in my own family that I build with my future wife. I was lucky enough to also be brought into church and a life of faith from the very beginning by my parents, and for that I am extremely grateful. This too I absolutely want to continue with my own family, as I believe it is this common faith and way of life through Christ and his word that has kept us together and so happy in our lives. I have always been an athlete and very passionate about sports and exercise and have a teaching degree as well. Two other big passions/hobbies of mine are traveling and dancing. I really try to love life and be grateful for all God has given me while trying to be the best person I can be with the help of God's word, and I am very happy and lucky enough to say that I am already living out several of my life-long dreams. :)

I am told that i should be able to get an annulment, but just haven't met anyone yet that would motivate me to apply for the process. I am a musician who taught vocal music in the public schools, gave piano lessons privately in my home, and have been serving as a church musician (organist, singer, and pianist) more on than off for many years. I also work as an administrative assistant when I have the opportunity. Besides music, I enjoy interacting with people, reading, the arts, cooking & baking, gardening, walking, being at the ocean and much more. Given the opportunity, I would like to travel some. Although I was not blessed with children, I am from a large family and love children. My family and friends have referred to me as gentle and compassionate. Hopefully the sense of humor comes through also. I am not a big TV watcher, but like many programs on public television. Along the journey of life faith, family, friends, and music have sustained me. If you are interested in knowing more, please email or chat with me.

I've truly come to believe Christ's assurance that He wants to give us life in abundance. In Him, and in the years since my conversion, I have found more joy, excitement, laughter, and reasons to get choked up than I dreamt possible. My faith is the most important part of my life and I'm praying God to introduce me to a woman who wants to grow together in Jesus Christ. I'm looking for a partner and best friend who will be part of that three-person relationship with God. I'm also a fifth-year, high school history teacher and have worked at a summer camp for the past eight years. I love what I do. I get to work with kids and form meaningful relationships with them in our discussions about history. They've already made me want to be a father in many ways. Most of all, I am essentially paid to learn for a living, and this is what I am happy to say that I spend my time doing inside and outside of the classroom. When I'm not at work, I am learning about my faith, and my friends, and family as we spend time together. Aside from Christ, my relationships with the people in my life are my top priority. I choose my settings and relationships as carefully as I can, and the people who I keep close to me are loyal, live with integrity, and yet, are some of the craziest individuals I have ever met. They inspire me in more ways than I can share by typing. When I'm not hanging out with people (and sometimes when I am) I have a few hobbies. A few are road tripping on my Kawasaki, bee keeping, skeet shooting, reading Mark Twain and Tolkien, brewing kombucha, cooking, enjoying a good drink and a conversation with a friend, hiking, swimming, and trying things that I think might push me out of my comfort zone (usually good for some laughs and a healthy dose of humility). I'm also fairly involved in the Church, helping to lead a "Young Adult Group" for adults 18-35 years old.

I grew up in a sorta big family, and they are super important to me... I'm close to my two younger brothers and two younger sisters and parents and try to spend time with them all, which is getting harder to do now that I live in CT and they live on the other side of the country! I love doing things outside.. Snowboarding, kayaking, sailing, mountain biking... You name it. Also love music--especially piano. I try to keep my faith central in my life and it's a huge part of who I am... Faith is definitely a roller coaster ride for me but Christ always brings me closer to him through everything. Currently a senior at the Coast Guard Academy, studying marine and environmental science with a focus in biology and oceanography. I also love Spanish and I'm always looking to practicing speaking it... I guess I'm also a foodie/beerie (word?), I love making/eating food and going to breweries... And I love to travel... My best bud is from Ecuador, so I sort of have a second family there! I'm a fan of dogs, nice people, and the ocean... I hate lines, traffic lights, horseflies, and my inability to grow respectable facial hair.
