35, Simsbury, CTHi there! I am a hopeful romantic who is searching for a Catholic gentleman. Maybe... you? "A stranger is just a friend waiting to be made..." So don't be a stranger! ;-) I think a relationship that develops naturally from a shared faith and friendship is the recipe for something incredibly special. I've made some lovely friends at CM events and in the forums, but I am still holding out hope for something more... Just as life is full of surprises- I try to be the same way. I enjoy surprising people, whether it be by injecting some unexpected humor, usually of the goofy and silly sort, sharing some home-baked goodies, or with a "thinking of you" card/present. I am a good listener; I try to be a voice of reason, comforting shoulder, or cheerleader for friends in need. I have a soft spot for Hallmark movies, the silly antics of kids and puppies, and holiday socks. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, whether it be trying out a new recipe or perfecting an old favorite.
35, Stamford, CTI'll start by saying that I am shy and quiet...I'm not much of a talker. I do tend to open up more and become a little less shy once I get to know someone. I enjoy people with a great sense of humor. Playing sports is one of my favorite hobbies. This past summer I played softball two nights a week. I am a huge sports fan. I love the Yankees and Giants football. I also enjoy others sports, but the two I previously mentioned are my top teams/sports. I recently just began taking Irish dancing classes. My musical tastes are traditional Irish music and country music. I'm member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It's one of my favorite places on the planet. Give me an iPod stacked with the Clancy Brothers, a hot dog, and a day at the Met... I'm all set :D I went to Catholic school my entire life, including college. I attended Mass every week until I was 22. When my grandmother (whom I was very close to) died, I stopped going. I go to Mass for holidays and special occasions now. I saw my best friend's parents recently and her father said something that resonated with me... He said that her mother "came back" to the Church. Not that she left, but after her daughter's death she was dealing with the stages of grief. And she got past the anger with God stage. I don't quite know how to explain what he meant. But after hearing that, I started thinking that maybe I am still in that anger stage...even though it has been quite a while. Anyway, that's where I stand as of now regarding attending Mass. My friends would describe me as passionate, caring, funny, athletic, awesome, and a good drinker. I'm a proud Irish-Italian Catholic woman who knows how to have fun but also when to get serious.Well, that's all I've got right now. If there's anything you'd like to know, just ask.

65, Westbrook, CTI am seeking a companion who would enjoy building a relationship around common interests and the desire to find support in the day to day pastimes with one another. I live in a mobile home by the sea and have had challenges with depression which is mostly under control. I am passionate about pro life interests, our faith, and writing. I enjoy yard work and going for walks. Pleasant moments include reading by the sea late in the afternoon. I enjoy gathering with groups and traveling to places like the Divine Mercy Center. You could also find me enjoying an occasional journey back to Boston, where I loved living for ten years or New York which is like no other place I've ever been. Did I say I like writing?? I did self publish a book of poetry. Participating in pro life work has been extensive in my life but these days, I tend to provide prayer support and behind the scenes support. Yes, watching and cheering for Boston sports teams is something I enjoy very much. I love the Traditional Latin Mass and find reverently praying the Mass reveals refreshing spiritual gems reverberating inside nearly every Sunday. I find, in following the teachings of the Magisterium of the Church, great solace in this day and age when our culture is aimlessly following the precepts of our fallen nature. Please respect this request. If you are divorced and your marriage has not been annulled, I hope, in charity, you will seek your annulment. We cannot seek a relationship if you do not have an annulment. God bless you and guide you and thank you for your interest in me.
