Hi, I'm Mike! I am a single, christian man, never married with no children. This wasn't a choice, just a matter of fate. I look at it like it wasn't my time to be married at an earlier age. That being said a little about me: I am 57 y.o., about 5'-8", medium build, I try to eat well, exercise and I am a non-drinker. I am a professional with a good full time job. I have many interests, I won't say I "like to have fun", but just say I like everything from local craft fairs to site seeing and learning new things, most important is I am interested in hearing what you are interested in. I like to listen and learn. You might be thinking "this guy must be real picky". Well truth is I am first and foremost looking for a honest, straightforward, woman with traditional moral christian values, that's it. But, with culture today the way it is I guess that would be considered being picky or even strange. Finding someone for a long term relationship, someone well grounded, someone with good values, someone that likes to laugh, someone with a variety of interests and someone who wants to walk the pathway of life together are reasons for me being here. I am a down to earth, a good listener and have a nice sense of humor. I love the outdoors, biking, long walks, nature, being active, antiques, fairs, day trips, site seeing and trying new things I'd like to hear about you. I'd like the chance to tell more about myself and I'd like be begin our journey together. Hope to hear from you soon! Mike

Hi! I'm Mark. First, let me say that being on an online dating site is very unlike me (yes, I know everyone says that, but it's true)! I'm hoping it will give me a means to connect with some people of good character who are proud of their Catholic faith. I feel I don't have enough people like this in my life. A few random factoids about me: I have always lived in Stamford, CT and still attend mass weekly at the same parish where I was baptized as a baby. My entire education from kindergarten through college has been at Catholic schools, for which I am most thankful. Cars are my passion, and I probably have a few too many "toys." I'm an animal lover. I've continued my family's male tradition of being vertically and follically-challenged (sigh). I wear my Mets cap even when they're underachieving, which sadly is most of the time! Family is very important to me and I think my parents are the best! I REALLY don't like to dance. I'm a bit of a workaholic. I'm good with kids, and would love to have my own some day. My taste in music is varied. I have a B.S. in Computer Science, but strongly object to being labeled a computer geek. I like to travel and have been very fortunate to have been able to do quite a bit already. I'm often accused of being too quiet and/or too serious. I'm more of a home-body, but I try to be sociable. To know me is to love me, so get to know me!

Hey, I'm Mark. I manage a high-end landscape company, and take a lot of pride in what I do. I really enjoy my work and jump at opportunities to share my interest and knowledge. I like to keep busy and I enjoy spending time outdoors doing just about anything from hunting to playing golf. Although I'm not one to sit around the house for hours doing nothing, I do enjoy time relaxing as well. I also enjoy going to breweries and trying different beers. I'm far from a beer snob, but I do prefer a stout to a hoppy IPA. I'm a country music fan, but I can't stand most of the new pop-country. There are some good small bands from the West/Midwest I'd be happy to introduce you to if you miss real country music. I value the time I spend with my friends and family. I am a firefighter/EMT in my town, and some of my best friends are those at the firehouse. Integrity is important to me, and I work hard to follow through on my commitments and stick to my word. I'm honest, easygoing, and get along well with most people I meet. I'm looking for someone I have things in common with, as well as things that I don't; I like to learn new things and share new experiences. If you think we'd get along well, I hope to hear from you. Hello and thanks for visiting my profile! First of all, a warning: I am super shy and not good at writing about myself... Some things about me: - Lived most of my life in CT - I would like to travel and see more states - My family is from Poland and I've been to Poland many times - I'm Catholic - my faith is very important to me - I have three siblings - I speak Polish and I am trying to learn Spanish - I finally got Netflix last year and I have been binge watching a lot lately - I recently started watching The Walking Dead and can't wait for it to come back in February! - I don't do a lot of outdoor activities but I would like to do more of that - I'm not a very outdoorsy person (maybe some not too difficult hiking) - I like to read. It's hard for me to go into a book store and not buy a book. - I'm strongly pro-life. I went to the March for Life a few years ago and it was very encouraging to see so many young people there! I asked my friends how they would describe me and here is what they said: Compassionate, sweet, loyal, down to earth, genuine, and honest. Some things that I enjoy include reading, spending time with family, watching movies and TV shows, traveling, walking/hiking and visiting museums and historical sites. I'm interested in and try to keep up with current events. I always try to see the good in every person and look at situations from different points of view because there is always another side to every story. OK, hopefully that was at least a semi-good introduction. Like I said earlier, I'm not good at writing these types of things.

  • Ann, 55 from Newtown, CT

    55, Newtown, CT
I work as a manager for a local software company, spend time coaching kids in international competitions (problem solving and engineering) and love to read, go to country fairs, have friends over for dinner, hike, camp, ski etc.... normal daily life is fun! I also like to travel very much, and would like to visit Rome and Lourdes as well as go back to the peace and majesty of the Swiss Alps again sometime soon. I am hoping to be an RCIA director for a parish who needs help and wants someone who will pursue this work with excellence as the goal. Breeding mediocrity in the midst of something as vitally important as conversion is unthinkable (preposterous and dead wrong) - and as this is currently my experience, it must not continue.
