I am a friendly, patient, reliable, easygoing and trustworthy person. My Catholic faith is very important to me as well as my family. It has helped shape me into the person I am today. I go to church every Sunday and pray. I have a pretty wide variety of interests and things I like and things I like to do. I also like animals. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I am looking for a nice guy who has values similar to mine and takes his Catholic faith seriously as well and shares some of my interests and who can love me for who I am because I would do the same. I've been taught to treat others the way you would want to be treated and I live by that. If you like what you see and read here and would like get to know me, feel free to send me a message. I'd love to hear from you.

Hi there! :) I routinely participate in patriotic events, one of my most favorite and rewarding is, during the week of Veterans Day, giving presentations in grammar and middle schools. The staff and students have been are wonderful!! In 2012 I had the honor to do five of them in Shelton, Newtown and Amity. I was a volunteer for "Swim across The Sound" for eight years, a Symphony on Ice volunteer for six years and have been a Special Olympics volunteer for thirty years. Do a litte volunteering for TEAM as well I am retired from the Navy as well as a position in engineering at Sikorsky Aircraft. I try to swim 13 laps each weekday energy is taken up in working on my house and yard which there never seems to be enough time for. I can fix most things.(getting to them might be the problem!) (Sorry if this sounds too much like a resume, but I believe it gives one a basic idea who I am.) Schools: City University, Bridgeport Engineering Institute, Many military technical, management and leadership schools. I enjoy spending time with people and am friendly, sensitive to others feelings, respectful, supportive of friends and family, witty, philosophical, humorous (puns are my forte) and down to earth. At this point in life I'm letting God drive (He always did anyway) and I'm taking my hands off the wheel (for the most part) :) There are a lot more things I would like to do but would enjoy the company of a nice lady in doing them... the restaurants, social events, days trips, site seeing, boat rides, wine by the fireplace and so forth. (I have the wine ,the fireplace and plenty of wood. :) I enjoy just about any wholesome activity. (Casinos and sports are not in my interest as well too much opulence- don't get me wrong, I like the Newport mansions.). I even enjoy shopping with a woman. (To me, that is part of having a lady in one's life!!) FYI, I have no immediate family but know many people who bring much joy into my life. I was brought up by wonderful, loving parents who I am eternally grateful for. My Dad treated my mother with respect, always opening the car door for her even when they just went shopping, and walking down the sidewalk on the outside . He was a good role model for me. I am traditional and believe in old time values. Currently reading "Rediscovering Catholicism". Thank you and wish you the very best! (PS: I return all respectful emails.)

Hi! Outgoing, funny kind of science nerdy but love to play and watch sports Into arts and photography Music as well - play guitar and love to go to shows! I love long legs. Girly girls, tall for the most part - but all women possess beauty of their own. I love to caress and be caressed. It's important. Smell your perfume on me after you've left, waiting for your return. Strong yet feminine. Many say the same things. Likes what I like, chemistry, spending time together, cuddling. I love all that too! Oh and I know a lot about 'chemistry '! :) Do I believe in a soulmates? Yes! But soulmates at first meeting are very rare. I don't think we're born soulmates - but we become them. Sometimes at first sight, sometimes easily, but it takes work. I firmly believe the soulmate feeling starts with 'I've got you, and no matter what life throws our way, WE will get through it together'. Love - the only unstoppable force in the universe. Nothing can defeat it. I suppose this quote sums up my soulmate thoughts, simply but powerfully; Whats the difference? I asked him. Between the love of your life, and your soulmate? One is a choice, and one is not" Tarryn Fisher, 'Mud Vein'

My faith is extremely important to sustains me... I consider myself a very warm and gentle-spirited woman with high moral and ethical standards. I am a romantic, and enjoy simple pleasures such as holding hands, spontaneous hugs, a "just because" message or card, etc. Honesty, kindness, respect, loyalty and compassion are important values that I live by, and what I hope to find in someone who would like to share the same with me. I am low-maintenance and find joy in the simple things, though I do enjoy being treated like a lady! I am as comfortable in jeans as I am in the "little black dress"! Though not the "outdoors type", I truly love and embrace the beauty and warmth of spring and summer, but I'd rather cuddle indoors by a nice fire during the cold winter months! I enjoy many, theater, dancing, a visit to New York City or Boston, and fine dining are some of the things I'd like to share with a companion who enjoys similar interests. The simpler things....a walk along the beach, a good movie, socializing with good conversation and laughter, and quiet times at home are also enjoyable to me. Family is extremely strong Italian roots are a true testament to the importance of family time! I am seeking companionship with someone who has values and interests similar to mine. Someone who believes, like me, that no matter how much we are challenged in our daily lives, there is something each day to be grateful for. And someone, who like me, believes that it is always important to end day with a kiss good-night!

Hi there! The first sentence of these descriptions are always the hardest to write, right? I'm Laura and I work as a graphic designer at a nearby university and also as a freelancer doing all sorts from projects from invitations to t-shirts to beer labels. I love art of all forms-- music, visual, written, theatre-- and enjoy it every chance I get. In particular, my friends are constantly asking me to either be their photographer or for permission to just steal my photos after the fact! I used to work in both a photography gallery and contemporary art museum, so I've gathered a few tricks of the trade when taking shots (and later decorating my home)! I grew up in Connecticut and recently moved back to the state, but I left a bit of my heart in Massachusetts. I lived in Boston for 5 years after college and loved exploring the city, visiting the weekend markets downtown, and eating my way though all of my favorite restaurant. Seriously, in addition to the friends I have in Massachusetts, some of my most missed things are certain sandwiches and meals! You might be able to tell that cooking and baking are a top some of my hobbies. I volunteer as a youth minister with a local parish and it is actually the same youth group that I was involved with in high school. I surround myself with a warm, compassionate, and truthful community and I'm glad to call some of those I met in youth group back in high school my very best friends. I didn't grow up with a large family, but my friends have taken on part of that role. Besides for them, I'm very close with my mom, so much so that we have a dinner date/ tv night every week. I love to laugh, celebrate the small moments, send mail, go exploring in a city, celebrate with friends, and relax at the bar with a board game. Each day is new so I intend on spending it to the best of my abilities! What's the current top item of my list of things I'd love to do? Be a balloon holder in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
