62, Bristol, CToutgoing, caring, down to earth... good listener, loyal friend... active church member, family oriented... lifelong learner, lifelong teacher... interested in meeting others whose faith is important to them...
29, Hamden, CTHi! My name is Blair. It's nice to "meet" you! I recently read an article about how to introduce yourself in an online profile...so here is my best attempt to follow what was suggested... Rather than tell you things that are obvious (like my faith and my family are important to me) or describe myself solely based on what I do (teach high school theology)...I will try to describe the real me... I am passionate about teaching and not just high school theology. I love to help others learn and I love to learn too. I think the classroom has truly become a part of who I am - as both a lifelong student and teacher. I love to listen to other people tell their story. I am an attentive listener but oddly enough I do not have a very strong memory. I am a good mediator and I have a strong counseling capability. I love to work with teenagers. I am very organized and I enjoy helping others organize. I think I am pretty artsy/crafty (I hand painted two corn hole board sets as gifts) and I find tremendous joy in making creative gifts for people. Gift giving and acts of service are definitely two of the ways I best show my love. I am athletic and like competition. I love to laugh although I am certainly not the funniest in my family (that award goes to my older brother or my younger sister). I come from an Italian family and I greatly appreciate the traditions I have been raised with. I am strong in my convictions and I am passionate about the truth. I am confident in who I am though I know I am absolutely a work in progress...
55, Avon, CTI am now annulled but I have not figured out how to change my profile. I am a charismatic, born again catholic who enjoys the Mass, the Sacraments and reading the Bible. When I became born again, many years ago, I studied the Bible and our faith and although I heard many preachers talk against the teachings of the Catholic Church, I was able to learn from both and to reconcile the two together. I love to study and discuss the Word and how it affects our lifes. However, I am raising my beautiful children and I do not get to devote to time to study as much as I would like. I have learned that I do not know everything and God is continuing to work with me. I enjoy my relationship with the Lord and I have come to know Him better through the tough years. I also enjoy the many blessing He has given me. I listen to books on tape and discuss those books with my friends throughout the country. I have listened to Matthew Kelly and embrace his advice. I also loved The Help. I am originally from Kentucky and most of my family are now living in the south. Although I have lived in the northeast for more than thirty years, I consider myself a southerner. I also enjoy walking, coaching wrestling and fishing. I love having fun and playing with my children. I also enjoy watching them play
27, Columbia, CTThe most important and influential people in my life have always been my family. I love my parents and two siblings to death, and more than anything I wish to one day experience that same love and closeness in my own family that I build with my future wife. I was lucky enough to also be brought into church and a life of faith from the very beginning by my parents, and for that I am extremely grateful. This too I absolutely want to continue with my own family, as I believe it is this common faith and way of life through Christ and his word that has kept us together and so happy in our lives. I have always been an athlete and very passionate about sports and exercise and have a teaching degree as well. Two other big passions/hobbies of mine are traveling and dancing. I really try to love life and be grateful for all God has given me while trying to be the best person I can be with the help of God's word, and I am very happy and lucky enough to say that I am already living out several of my life-long dreams. :)
69, Vernon Rockville, CTI am told that i should be able to get an annulment, but just haven't met anyone yet that would motivate me to apply for the process. I am a musician who taught vocal music in the public schools, gave piano lessons privately in my home, and have been serving as a church musician (organist, singer, and pianist) more on than off for many years. I also work as an administrative assistant when I have the opportunity. Besides music, I enjoy interacting with people, reading, the arts, cooking & baking, gardening, walking, being at the ocean and much more. Given the opportunity, I would like to travel some. Although I was not blessed with children, I am from a large family and love children. My family and friends have referred to me as gentle and compassionate. Hopefully the sense of humor comes through also. I am not a big TV watcher, but like many programs on public television. Along the journey of life faith, family, friends, and music have sustained me. If you are interested in knowing more, please email or chat with me.

21, New London, CTI grew up in a sorta big family, and they are super important to me... I'm close to my two younger brothers and two younger sisters and parents and try to spend time with them all, which is getting harder to do now that I live in CT and they live on the other side of the country! I love doing things outside.. Snowboarding, kayaking, sailing, mountain biking... You name it. Also love music--especially piano. I try to keep my faith central in my life and it's a huge part of who I am... Faith is definitely a roller coaster ride for me but Christ always brings me closer to him through everything. Currently a senior at the Coast Guard Academy, studying marine and environmental science with a focus in biology and oceanography. I also love Spanish and I'm always looking to practicing speaking it... I guess I'm also a foodie/beerie (word?), I love making/eating food and going to breweries... And I love to travel... My best bud is from Ecuador, so I sort of have a second family there! I'm a fan of dogs, nice people, and the ocean... I hate lines, traffic lights, horseflies, and my inability to grow respectable facial hair.

24, New Haven, CTI am a graduate student at Yale Divinity School! I love liturgy and biblical studies. Full disclosure: I'm not Catholic, but I have a great deal of respect for many of the Church's teachings and many of my close friends are Catholic! Anyhow, I thoroughly enjoy my studies and exploring the riches of our common Christian tradition. Besides studying theology, I majored in clarinet as an undergraduate and toured the country with both the St. Olaf Band and Orchestra. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing soccer and engaging in word play (i.e. puns). Some the most influential experiences I have had include teaching kids about Jesus working as camp counselor in Colorado and traveling to the Holy Land with some of my ministry colleagues. My friends tell me that I'm very thoughtful, loyal, and passionate about my beliefs and faith.
