I am a cradle Catholic who has come a long way in my Faith. I am now a Traditional Catholic, meaning I attend exclusively the Traditional Latin Mass. I love the Catholic Faith and love learning more about its rich history, traditions, the great men and women it has produced. I am the oldest of nine so I have a deep love of family and especially children. I have changed allot of diapers in my time. I am bright, a good onversationalist, fun to be with, involved with a variety of activities. I am moving to the countryside to live a life closer to the land, grow most of my own food, live close to and work, pray and be neighborly with fellow Catholics.

I am a long-time Washingtonian, having worked on Capitol Hill and in Public Relations, and am now enjoying working for myself in the real estate market. It's great! Socially, I've thought about taking the big step, but have learned that I want to spend the rest of my life with someone with whom I can share a similar religious/spiritual philosphy. As I am trying to continue to grow and be a better Catholic, I look forward to finding someone who can help me along the way, and I him; a partnership where we will help each other get to Heaven. I believe that when two people share their spiritual lives it provides a strong foundation and enhancement to their marriage -- something that a lot of people do not have today.

I'm a creative professional, never married, seeking someone similar. I enjoy being around individuals who are irreverent, fun, have a good sense of humor, and make me laugh. I tend to be animated and talkative, and respond to those traits in others. I am also quiet and introspective at times, too.

I like being of help to people who are less fortunate. I believe that we are all here for the purpose of doing God's will with the talents that God has given each of us. I believe that family is very important even though I don't have any close family members who are alive. Faith guides my life although it can be very difficult sometimes.

For fun, I like hiking and talking and taking road trips. I truly love my work serving seniors who wish to age in place. Family dinners are more enjoyable if we can cook together and talk. Love watching movies on Friday nights and going to the farmer's market on Saturday am, coffee in hand.

I'm on this site today because it's my third anniversary of having converted to Catholicism during Easter Vigil in 2014. And it's still very beautiful and humbling, and I am grateful every day to my fellow parishioners and RCIA classmates. But I am alone, when none of us should be completely to ourselves. I want a committed Catholic woman who's smart, funny, well-read and really easy on the eyes. The "funny" part is most important, and please have a side of you that's spontaneously affectionate, because I need to be touched a lot and have my hand held. It's not, as an ex thought, a sign of neediness or weakness. It is human. As for me, I am a successful lobbyist in DC for a Fortune 500 energy company. I have two adult sons, who think that I'm nuts for doing the "whole Catholic thing." I am Ivy-educarted and politically conservative. That said, I think that I have a big and loving heart. I read lots of history and biography, and classical music is always in the background. Kennedy Center? Ah, but will you go camping and fishing with me in Maine and New Hampshire? I am a New Englander, and it's a big plus if you find appeal in that sort of thing.

For the last wonderful 36 years I have lived and worked in DC. I love the city with all it has to offer from long walks to shopping to the arts. I like to plan trips and to be spontaneous as well. Sometimes I take a trip or have a cocktail party on the spur of the moment. I also do this with attending lectures as well as last tickets to the NSO, sporting events, etc. I very much enjoy taking acting classes at Studio Theater as well as Bridge lessons (playing too).

I have a complex character and somewhat unusual range and depth of talents. don't mean to brag, just want to describe myself. Strongly humanitarian in outlook, tend to be an idealist. Am deeply concerned about relations with individuals as well as the state of humanity at large. I have found I can only be emotionally intimate and fulfilled with a chosen few/. I alternate between detachment and involvement in the lives of people around me. I am loyal. I am a listener. I am an introvert but often mistaken for an extrovert because of my empathy and interest in people I like traveling to natural places - hope to go to Costa Rica in a year! I am influenced by university types and also social service types. I like lots of communication. Would like to travel to various national parks. Friends first.
