  • Steven, 32 from Washington, DC
    32, Washington, DC
I'm an attorney, military vet, and Knight of Columbus. I recently began a new job in the federal government. I'm always trying to keep up with current events, politics, and cultural commentary. Big fan of National Review magazine! Also baseball and Nintendo, generally of the classic Mario/Zelda variety. Friends would probably say I fell out of the 1950s. God, country, and the good fight.
  • Emily, 28 from Washington, DC
    28, Washington, DC
My faith, family and friends are the most important aspects of my life. I love volunteering, traveling, learning about new cultures, strengthening my faith, being active (playing sports, running, hiking, doing anything outdoors), going out with friends, and most of all, I love going on adventures and experiencing life to the fullest! I grew up in Portland, Oregon, so I am a West Coaster at heart, but I love exploring and living in DC.

What is there to say about me? I'm an old-fashioned guy who likes to have fun and try new things. I'm very outspoken and don't hesitate to say what I'm thinking ... This usually doesn't make for the best first impression, but people eventually come to find that I'm a pretty amicable guy. I have very strong opinions about many things, and respect other people who do, even if we disagree. I'm hoping to find someone who can hold their own and challenge me to be a better man. If you want to know more, don't hesitate to contact me!
  • Nick, 25 from Washington, DC
    25, Washington, DC
I have been living here in DC for 2 1/2 years now. I moved to DC after college to pursue a Master's degree at GWU and see myself here for the long-term. I am looking for someone to not only love, but to also be my best friend. I have tried many dating websites, including this one, but always get impatient and discouraged. I am putting my faith in St. Raphael to try this again. While I'm still working to update my profile, let me know what else you want to know about me.
  • Andrew, 23 from Washington, DC
    23, Washington, DC
I graduated from Georgetown University this past May with a double major in Government and Psychology, and just accepted a job on Capitol Hill as a Congressional aide. My plan is to work and eventually begin graduate school in the DC area. I enjoy singing (men's a Capella), skiing, playing baseball and basketball, working out, and socializing; the more friends the better!
  • Brett, 22 from Washington, DC
    22, Washington, DC
I'm a political science major who enjoys reading, writing, and movies. I grew up very religious and care very deeply about my faith. I graduated in May of 2016. I also enjoy Broadway and various songs of various gneres. Beyond that, my greatest influences have been my parents, my faith, and the people (both fictional and non) that I've come across in my life that have taught me about the world (there's a long list so I couldn't put them all here). Overall, I'm up for just about anything in life and love to learn.
  • Kristin, 26 from Washington, DC
    26, Washington, DC
Born and raised in Southern California, now working in Washington, DC. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading and writing (primarily science fiction and fantasy), watching and dancing ballet, and following politics. I'm also a big sports fan of NFL and college basketball and am always down to catch a game on the weekend.
  • Emanuele, 34 from Washington, DC
    34, Washington, DC
I was born in Italy, moved to the US six years ago. I lived in Boston, California, and recently moved to Washington DC. I enjoy walking or biking around the city, exploring all the free museums or just spending time outdoor. I am passionate about new technologies, science, theatre, food, traveling, airplanes, music.. I am extremely curious and interested in anything new to me. I like chilling out with friends, watching my favorite tv series, reading.
  • Michael, 30 from Washington, DC
    30, Washington, DC
Cradle Catholic. Looking for someone who can answer the questions I have about the faith. Every success I've ever had at my job or with the lady-folk has come from my ability to slowly and painfully wear someone down.
  • Mackenzie, 28 from Washington, DC
    28, Washington, DC
I love outdoor adventures, terrible pop music, and breakfast food. Not necessarily in that order. I grew up on Kentucky basketball and Notre Dame football--but otherwise root for the underdog. ;) I'm the first one on the dance floor--unless the Irish are playing. Then all bets are off. I'm looking for a man who can challenge me, laugh at himself, and takes his faith seriously.
  • Richard, 30 from Washington, DC
    30, Washington, DC
I am a Catholic gentleman trying to grow in holiness and imitation of Our Lord. I frequent the Sacraments, try to serve God in all I do, and love holy mother Church. Among my interests are literature, philosophy, and keeping up with American politics. My professional goal is to advance Catholic social and moral teaching in the world whilst augmenting and edifying Catholic culture.
  • Alex, 24 from Washington, DC

I am a very intense, passionate person, though that's more on the inside. On the outside, I am rather warm, gentle, sensitive to the people and things around me, and at times a bit shy. I may appear to be quiet and reserved, especially if I don't know you very well, but I possess a big heart that feels deeply for both strangers and those I love. I am quite protective of my loved ones and I am deeply concerned for their wellbeing. People often call the INFJ personality type, which is my type, the "people scientist". I find that this description fits me quite well! I am very interested in learning about people, what moves them, how they think. I enjoy spending time in semi-quiet, semi-populated places like coffee shops where I am able to explore a new book or listen to music, while also delighting in the presence and mystery of other people without always having to engage them directly, which is sometimes a bit challenging for this introvert. I also have a ravenous mind that's always picking apart some problem or stimulating question, trying to view it from every possible angle. I definitely think about things deeply. My imagination is often found roaming through hidden, leafy gardens or scratchy, sandy deserts, lost in adventures that even I can't keep up with! However, most fail to make it past my lips and out into the light. My imagination, when not rudely distracting me from something important, does enable me to wax poetic when I set myself to it. I love playing with images and language. Poetry provides me with a creative outlet for all of my deep, sometimes tumultuous thoughts and feelings. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, reading fantasy novels and other fiction, watching Netflix, cooking, and baking. Despite a serious sweet tooth, I try to eat healthily, and I would like to get into hiking and running. I may be rather intense, but I am also known to burst into silliness quite regularly when surrounded by my close friends, which tend to be few in number, yet held in deep love and loyalty. Finding joy in life is incredibly important to me. I believe that we should be deeply sincere in the pursuit of holiness, yet humbly at peace with our lowliness and inability to grow without the Lord's hand. A humble confidence, rooted in the knowledge of God's love for us, will give us the grace to tread the narrow way with a genuine smile on our faces. In the words of St. Teresa of Avila, "God deliver us from sour-faced saints!"
