Hi, I'm Matt. I'm a multifaceted guy. I am generally a pretty open-minded guy and have friends from many different walks of life. I like to do just about anything. For example, my weekend could easily encompass (in no particular order) Latin dancing, a movie, dinner with friends, a trip to the museum, Frisbee golf, church, watching a game and a trip to the target range). I will try just about anything at least once. I like to learn. I was raised a catholic as a child and as I have grown it is now a choice. I am one of the lucky ones when it comes to my family. I love them dearly. We are all pretty close. Mom and Dad are very happy together, (35 years), brother and sister (twins), and another younger brother. I am the oldest. The extended family is very close as well; Think "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," but done Portuguese style. My Polish side is also very close.

Hi! Thank you for taking a few minutes to read my profile. I'm trusting and trustworthy. Respectful, loyal and honest. I enjoy good company, friends and especially being with my family. I'm outgoing, energetic, positive, and very young at heart and passionate about life. My faith in the Lord will always come first. I believe in living life to the fullest. Don't let my travels or zest for life scare you away, but rather motivate you to get to know me. I love being outdoors, going to the beach and going to baseball games. I went to so many games last summer! I'm a true blue Dodger fan. Think Blue! Love baseball and by default I'm an Os fan too. I expect (hear my optimism) that the Dodgers will win in the playoffs. My intentions are sincere. I would enjoy hearing about yourself......start with a message, but the let's talk in person over coffee or a drink. (I'm old school) Don't be shy. Send me a message. I'm open to meeting at a cafe or a baseball game.

I like to read, write, and think. I want to become a truly loving person and learn to trust God completely. I was forever changed by living in Japan for six years and I'm still contemplating the mystery of the humility and gratitude of the Japanese.

I'm a pretty simple, laid-back person, whose greatest passion is the Faith. As a medical student, I currently don't have much free time, but when I do, I love to learn! I firmly believe that learning ought to be a life-long endeavor! Some of my favorite topics are history, ethics, and biology, but I try to keep myself open to learning from anyone and everything around me! When I do have time, I love to read or watch movies, and discuss books and films with friends and family. Some of my favorite movies are: A Man for All Seasons, Rob Roy, The Mission, and the Last Castle. My favorite books include: Paradise Lost, The Power and the Glory, Heart of Darkness, and All Quiet on the Western Front. Having been raised with four sisters in a small town in rural California, faith, family, friends, and community are the principles I've learned to live by.

I just finished RCIA and am happy not to have been married prior to this but I hope that I have finally found my church home. I am really enjoying classes very much and hope to meet a lot of great people in the church. I have been trained as a lawyer and have prestigious degrees but it doesn't seem like the typical path is what God has in store for me now - so I'm hoping to find out soon :) - whether that is finding the right person and having a family or something completely different, vocation-wise. Other than that, I really enjoy things like traveling to see my favorite things, whether church-related, food and exercise-related, or something artistic or cultural. NYC or even London is an aspirational home, but DC is fine too. I would really like to visit the Holy Land, Italy generally and Greece but have not before as I was concerned about my safety.

***Found my best friend and my soon-to-be-spouse using this site. He is beyond my wildest dreams and brings me daily closer to Christ. Blessed be God in His abundant gifts!, yeah, discernment of my vocation is officially over.*** Passionate about my faith, I always love to learn more. Learning is an absolute joy for me. I am an outdoors person that loves to camp, fish and hike. Dancing is also a real joy for me. While I am serious about faith and life in general, I am also a big kid. Simple pleasures are my cup of tea. A bit of a contemplative, I've spent several years in a religious community and enjoyed every minute of it. Although I am unsure of where the Lord is leading next, I'm ready for the next big adventure he brings my way.

Philosophy graduate of CUA. Currently working at NIH as data analyst. Enthusiast of classical guitar, baseball, and swimming. Spent 2 years in seminary formation. I feel in twenty years I will be more disappointed by what I didn't do that then what I did. Enjoy traveling and the city life.

Rare Liberal Catholic seeking a like-minded individual. Hi! I'm a borderline introvert/extrovert. I prefer to have time to myself to unwind at the end of the day/week, but I need to get together with people too and socialize. Do fun things. Go to the zoo or for walks around the city. Have a game night. Go to the movies. Etc. Not up for partying or clubbing, per se, but socializing. If I could describe myself in three words, I think it would be responsible, practical, and independent. If I get a fourth, I'd add honest too. I've been told by others that I'm also brave and caring. Not very flashy, I realize. But I can certainly have fun, as well. I love to travel! I've been all over the world, and there are so many more places I want to see and experience. I also enjoy martial arts. I practice Taekwondo at least three times a week, and often more than that. As for other interests, I tend to pick up random hobbies as they interest me. Most recently I've tried my hand at guitar (I can now play Angels We Have Heard on High) and since the election I've been studying Spanish with the hope that I can more easily connect with immigrants in the area and possibly volunteer with organizations around here. That's a long way down the road, though. I'm at a VERY basic level right now. Career-wise, I'm a former Peace Corps volunteer turned Healthcare analyst. I've been back in the states for a year and a half now. My family has a long history of civil and military service, and I think it's important to continue that trend. I'm really happy to have a job I love that let's me use my skills to help people live healthier lives, albeit indirectly. In my leisure time, when I'm not practicing taekwondo, I like to read and watch netflix. I love to go to the movies. I don't know what it is about it, but I love it. I also just got a Zoo membership. Yes, I realize the Zoo is free. But I think the 'free' parking that comes with the membership will be a great incentive to get me out there more often. Plus it's a good cause.

I am passionate about Charity, virtue and philosophy. I grew up loving good stories and other such things. I would say my family and friends are by far the most influential people in my life. In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, walking in nature, conversing about life and other similar things.
