I'm an architect who works in a residential design firm in Georgetown. I work on additions and renovations, and an occasional new house. I also have graphic design, IT and business experience which I bring to the firm. When I'm not working I like to play tennis or ultimate frisbee, run, walk or swim. I like to explore new places whether it's a city I've never visited before, or whether it's a local stadium or museum that I haven't been to. I also like hiking and going to the beach.

Hi! I am a 5'8", 170 lbs., fun loving single dad with a beautiful little 8 yo daughter. I live and work in Washington, residence is just up the street from the White House, and my offices look out over the Treasury Dept & the White House. I have a great sense of humor & love to is the best 'medicine' in life! I have my daughter every other week. In my free time, I like to go to my house in Rehoboth Beach, DE in the spring & summer, spending time relaxing & looking out at the ocean and beach, playing golf, or just enjoying the company of friends. I have an upbeat positive attitude, and attribute that to my faith. Prior to my wife leaving my daughter & I in Oct 2008, I attended Mass almost every day for years; since then, my responsibilities with my daughter have restricted my schedule to Sunday/Holy Days. I might get to noon time Mass very less frequent than what I was able to do. I love being a parent & have gladly taken on those responsibilities with my daughter. Having her was one of the best things that ever happen to me. But I am pragmatic too, and know that Dad misses the interaction, laughter, and conversation that a fine woman can add to a relationship......just the thought of planning 'the future together' makes a relationship all that more fulfilling! I know that sitting on the beach with a glass of wine watching the sun set, enjoying the company of a best friend makes life really worth it. To me, it is all about 'sharing the moment' unexpected 'laugh to you cry' spontaneous moment; a glass of wine in front of a big fire; cooking a romantic dinner together; or skiing down a snow covered slope 'in & out' of the pine trees.....are all those 'moments' that make the 'relationship' that only 2 people can share. Life can be as mundane as it can be chaotic at times...........but I believe it is the simple things in this life that contribute on a 'day-to-day' basis to building a connection of love & respect that can last a lifetime.I certainly have been blessed to have had that in my past relationships.

Well hi! I'm a young woman living just outside DC- intellectual, active, and very centered on my Catholic faith. I love rich conversations with friends and family, particularly related to theology, philosophy, politics, and the oddities of life! I tend to be more introverted at times but I also have a very mirthful and playful side. I love to indoor rock climb (1-2x/ week), sing (particularly sacred polyphony), take on art projects (like calligraphy), hike, and enjoy meals and fun times with friends and family. I feel very blessed to work for the Church in the field of theology and want my life to bear much fruit in the vineyard of the Lord!

I love literature and music (I write sonnets for pleasure, and I used to translate the Second Vatican Council from Latin). Favorite authors: Marcel Proust, Jacques Lacan, San Juan de la Cruz (St. John of the Cross). Runner.

FYI - this whole profile is a work in progress, so you never know what new thing I am going to write.. oh boy! Also I kind of don't want to answer some of the profile questions... honestly, aren't we suppose to do a little work to know more information. I can't put all my eggs in the basket! You're either giggling to yourself (win) or haven't even gotten to the end of this paragraph (failed at 1st impression). A bit skeptical of online dating, but let's try it anyway. I always try to share the love God has for me with others. Most of my friends would say I am kind, lovable, compassionate, genuine, simple, empathetic and joyful. I love myself as whole and I know I have so much to offer not only to my friends, family or a stranger, but also to my future partner. I try to make myself better spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally. Of course, I have flaws. I don't like to be poked, I hate silverware scratching a plate/bowl, I have a loud laugh (if you don't think it's loud.... you're not funny) Hahha... I make myself laugh too. I have an extremely high tolerance level and I rarely get angry, but it does happen and most people are surprised. I tend to be shy at first, so you should probably make the first move. Once, I am comfortable around you or others I wear my heart on my sleeve. I am an extroverted introvert. I am passionate about social justice issues and helping my fellow being. I work for a nonprofit and enjoy my job and the mission of our work. Curious? Message me to find out more.

My faith is at the center of my life, and my fundamental formative years in the faith occurred in St. John Fisher seminary in Stamford, CT.
  • Annie, 26 from Washington, DC

I'm a southern girl in DC for grad school and I love being in the city! I'm excited about finishing school and beginning a new season in my life. According to the Myers-Briggs test I'm an INFJ, but I'm sort-of an outgoing introvert. I'm a little sassy, but my friends get it--it's all in good fun. I love bourbon cocktails, dramatic movies, dry humor, and sunshine. I almost never send a first message, but I always respond. What's keeping you busy lately?

I graduated from Georgetown University this past May with a double major in Government and Psychology, and just accepted a job on Capitol Hill as a Congressional aide. My plan is to work and eventually begin graduate school in the DC area. I enjoy singing (men's a Capella), skiing, playing baseball and basketball, working out, and socializing; the more friends the better!
