Vivacious, outgoing, effervescent and bubbly are a few adjectives to describe me. Also, generous to a fault at times & kind as I often put others before myself. When not at work, you will most often find me enjoying the company of family & friends. Mixing & mingling the two is one of my fortes, whether at Eagles' tailgates (yes, I'm a season ticketholder & attend every home game in Philadelphia with my brother & parents!), or at fundraisers/local happy hours which I'm often running for college alumni or one of the charitable organizations I'm involved with. Love to snow ski, scuba dive, swim, travel, attend the theater, concerts & sporting events, & even sing. I'm rather versatile with my music selection whether it be rock, country or classical too as I played the latter on the piano in my younger days.

Hi! I am a 5'8", 170 lbs., fun loving single dad with a beautiful little 8 yo daughter. I live and work in Washington, DC.....my residence is just up the street from the White House, and my offices look out over the Treasury Dept & the White House. I have a great sense of humor & love to laugh......it is the best 'medicine' in life! I have my daughter every other week. In my free time, I like to go to my house in Rehoboth Beach, DE in the spring & summer, spending time relaxing & looking out at the ocean and beach, playing golf, or just enjoying the company of friends. I have an upbeat positive attitude, and attribute that to my faith. Prior to my wife leaving my daughter & I in Oct 2008, I attended Mass almost every day for years; since then, my responsibilities with my daughter have restricted my schedule to Sunday/Holy Days. I might get to noon time Mass very less frequent than what I was able to do. I love being a parent & have gladly taken on those responsibilities with my daughter. Having her was one of the best things that ever happen to me. But I am pragmatic too, and know that Dad misses the interaction, laughter, and conversation that a fine woman can add to a relationship......just the thought of planning 'the future together' makes a relationship all that more fulfilling! I know that sitting on the beach with a glass of wine watching the sun set, enjoying the company of a best friend makes life really worth it. To me, it is all about 'sharing the moment'..........an unexpected 'laugh to you cry' spontaneous moment; a glass of wine in front of a big fire; cooking a romantic dinner together; or skiing down a snow covered slope 'in & out' of the pine trees.....are all those 'moments' that make the 'relationship' that only 2 people can share. Life can be as mundane as it can be chaotic at times...........but I believe it is the simple things in this life that contribute on a 'day-to-day' basis to building a connection of love & respect that can last a lifetime.I certainly have been blessed to have had that in my past relationships.

I would describe myself as a loving, generous and loyal person. As an Irish American, my family and friends are very important to me. I have seven beautiful God children, who bring a lot of joy to my life. My Catholic faith is a big part of my life and something I would like to share in a relationship. I also love to travel and experience other cultures. After grad school, I lived in several developing countries and have finally settled down in Washington, where I have been for over a decade now. I own a small business that allows me to combine the challenges of running a business with being able to work on poverty issues. It is nice to do something that I feel passionate about. In terms of sports, I like to ski. I also enjoy hiking and walking and have just started doing yoga.I love reading and ideas. I enjoy being challenged intellectually and I am open to learning and trying new things. I think I have a fairly wry sense of humor. I would like to meet someone who shares my faith and values and who enjoys life.

My passion are my three children, and I have paid close attention to them from birth till now. We still do as much together as their new adulthood allows without my interfering with their development into mature adults, given my years of "tutoring" them thru early childhood into their teenage years and now into their early adulthood. one of my passions is the outdoor shooting and fox hunting sports, and of course, my children, young as they are, are trained by me to use firearms, ride well and fish, since I have dedicated part of my life to teaching my children how to participate in sports and the outdoor adventures. My family, beginning, of course, with my dear mother and father plus my two sets of grandparents have nurtured and guided me thru my early years, adolescence and into manhood.

My faith, family and friends are the most important aspects of my life. I love volunteering, traveling, learning about new cultures, strengthening my faith, being active (playing sports, running, hiking, doing anything outdoors), going out with friends, and most of all, I love going on adventures and experiencing life to the fullest! I grew up in Portland, Oregon, so I am a West Coaster at heart, but I love exploring and living in DC.

What is there to say about me? I'm an old-fashioned guy who likes to have fun and try new things. I'm very outspoken and don't hesitate to say what I'm thinking ... This usually doesn't make for the best first impression, but people eventually come to find that I'm a pretty amicable guy. I have very strong opinions about many things, and respect other people who do, even if we disagree. I'm hoping to find someone who can hold their own and challenge me to be a better man. If you want to know more, don't hesitate to contact me!

I was born and grew up in Europe but have been living in the States for about 25 years. My life goal is to serve God in everything I do and hope to find a soul mate with this same goal. I have a wide range of interest: reading, cooking, traveling, biking, hiking, running, kayaking, sailing, boating, playing tennis, dancing (mostly ballroom), opera, symphony, museums, theaters, movies, lectures. I like exploring different cultures and ethnic restaurants. I love nature, especially the water and mountains (if I have to choose between the two, I go for the water though :)). I have traditional values and am comfortable with different roles for women and men, as it is described in the Bible. I believe that it takes three to get married and I strive to have a marriage that is God-centered and friendship based. Edit

I'm a political science major who enjoys reading, writing, and movies. I grew up very religious and care very deeply about my faith. I graduated in May of 2016. I also enjoy Broadway and various songs of various gneres. Beyond that, my greatest influences have been my parents, my faith, and the people (both fictional and non) that I've come across in my life that have taught me about the world (there's a long list so I couldn't put them all here). Overall, I'm up for just about anything in life and love to learn.

When I'm not working, I enjoy reading and writing (primarily science fiction and fantasy), watching and dancing ballet, and following politics. I'm also a big sports fan of NFL and college basketball and am always down to catch a game on the weekend.

Hi, I'm a simple but joyful person who has discerned out of religious life but who has Jesus & the sacramental life at the center of her life. My relationship with Jesus permeates everything and because He saved me in so many ways, I am compelled with an interior desire to share this joy and my faith with others. I attend daily Mass, spend time in prayer hanging out with Jesus and pray the Rosary each day.I received a lot of Catholic education and have a lot of background in theology, philosophy but I have a special love for what is the most practical in the spiritual life. A long-time spiritual director has really formed that in me. It's just part of the fabric of who I am. I have a very playful spirit!!!! I laugh and smile quite a lot. I don't like to talk about deep things all the time. I did that for many years, now I just want to put it all into practice...love each other, love the Lord. Not that I don't want to share or learn more of the truth...I just spent way too much time reading and listening to talks for 20 years. I enjoy getting out with a few friends or just one friend to do things together...doesn't matter what so much as who I am with. I do love nature and would love to meet someone who could lead the way in some things like kayaking, etc. I especially like being on or near the water. It's not a necessity...just a deep fondness. I love to find little and big ways to make those around me happy. I especially like to make them laugh...and I've had a lot of success in this in my own little way :) I am now learning all sorts of things about organization and home decorating because I want my place to be more homey and efficient. I'm always pinning things on Pinterest for organization ideas, tips on living (like good work habits, cleaning tips etc.) and Home decor ideas . I have 2 cute parakeets and a fish. I love animals & beauty. I actually have no TV, but I watch a few things on the internet and I'll watch a good movie occasionally. I'm pretty goal oriented when I have to be and like challenges. I really believe in being courageous for the Lord...going out of my comfort zone. I would be a great companion for someone who loves the Lord & who wants to be encouraged to love Him more each day, someone who will see me as a teammate and a best friend to confide in, who likes a good dose of cheer, humor and litte jokes in the home, who doesn't mind someone who gets silly when she is tired, who loves quite snuggle time and little adventures.
