I am a long-time Washingtonian, having worked on Capitol Hill and in Public Relations, and am now enjoying working for myself in the real estate market. It's great! Socially, I've thought about taking the big step, but have learned that I want to spend the rest of my life with someone with whom I can share a similar religious/spiritual philosphy. As I am trying to continue to grow and be a better Catholic, I look forward to finding someone who can help me along the way, and I him; a partnership where we will help each other get to Heaven. I believe that when two people share their spiritual lives it provides a strong foundation and enhancement to their marriage -- something that a lot of people do not have today.

I like being of help to people who are less fortunate. I believe that we are all here for the purpose of doing God's will with the talents that God has given each of us. I believe that family is very important even though I don't have any close family members who are alive. Faith guides my life although it can be very difficult sometimes.

For fun, I like hiking and talking and taking road trips. I truly love my work serving seniors who wish to age in place. Family dinners are more enjoyable if we can cook together and talk. Love watching movies on Friday nights and going to the farmer's market on Saturday am, coffee in hand.

For the last wonderful 36 years I have lived and worked in DC. I love the city with all it has to offer from long walks to shopping to the arts. I like to plan trips and to be spontaneous as well. Sometimes I take a trip or have a cocktail party on the spur of the moment. I also do this with attending lectures as well as last tickets to the NSO, sporting events, etc. I very much enjoy taking acting classes at Studio Theater as well as Bridge lessons (playing too).

I am passionate about my family! Love art , photography ( especially) reading, yoga , walking and nature. I am a first time participant to catholic match . I enjoy having intelligent conversations yet also enjoy riding carousels, watching the moon and stars, feeling wind on my face and having snowball battles. I was a realtor for 20 yrs and an office manager for the last 4 of those years I have 4 children and 10 grandchildren ( three of them are triplets)!! How blest I am! I lost my husband of 47 yrs to cancer last July. We also dated for two yrs before we married. A loss that pierced your heart and soul. For those of you that have had to go through that experience my thoughts and prayers are with you daily.

Back after quite some time! Outgoing, principled, enthusiastic and affectionate. I love this time of life. Such freedom to do and explore and learn. And how wonderful to think it may be possible to find an enthusiastic partner! I'm looking for someone who wants a devoted relationship of laughter and deep affection - something fine to bring kindness and sheer delight into every possible moment of this last and wonderful part of life. I've had a varied career - higher ed, strategic planning, social change design and now, painting. I like to dress stylishly. Love to read biographies and history (and decorating / gardening mags). All things Fawlty Towers, Black Adder, college football, golf (watching or driving the cart, but I truly love that), theatrical, choral, ballet and all the rest I've yet to experience. I enjoy traveling to learn; not a big shopper; pretty intrepid, actually. Like to swim and canoe; interested in getting back on a tennis court and in learning to fly fish. You'll find me an easy laugher at smart humor, earnest, comfortable in an intellectual conversation and in creating simple family memories. More likely to be thinking about ways to fix injustices than complaining about them. I have terrific friends and two grown sons with welcoming, warm families. I want to find someone smart and curious and accomplished and openminded/tolerant. It's important to me that you are kind, energetic and a person of warmth, integrity, intimacy and ready wit. You should probably know that if you love a staid life (mostly home in a favorite chair) or enjoy country clubs, cocktail parties and destinations where everyone is old, I'm glad you've found a rhythm and routine you love, but I'm not likely to be your girl. I'm so glad you stopped by. If you find my profile interesting, please email me.

I am a single woman who wants to begin a new chapter in life. I have two internationally adopted children, both in their 20's now, and I do child advocacy work in addition to my job as a government lawyer. I love to read, to travel, and listen to live music. I would give anything to find a man who is interesting, emotionally available, and financially secure, who cares about me.
