I serve as a US Diplomat, specifically with the Foreign Service, so traveling and living overseas is a major part of my life. I believe I am one of those people who genuinely views life as an adventure. I figure you get one shot so you need to absolutely squeeze out every opportunity and experience, to include being a good family member and friend. My family tends to throw around the words enthusiastic, driven and dedicated when they describe me. I am very much an extrovert, but I enjoy the company of both outgoing and more introspective people. I love a good adventure or fun exploit, although I am extremely reliable. I take my responsibilities with work, my faith and my family seriously. I am highly ambitious in my professional and personal exploits, but I always try to temper that by being mindful of the most important elements of life. I genuinely love the outdoors and feel most at home when I can find an excuse to escape the city. Physical fitness is also an integral part of my life. This is an interest that I would like to have in common, as I'm happiest when I can incorporate exercise into my daily life and weekend activities. I tend to be a highly pragmatic, but I am deeply passionate about the things I find worthwhile.

Now that my love for Natalie Portman has officially died, I can join Catholic Match without guilt for my lack of fidelity. In terms of nationality, I'm a Texan; although I'm not much good at riding a horse or roping a steer and in general do my best to get out of the country as frequently as possible. I like reading books, riding trains, and taking pictures of far away rivers. I'm pretty laid back and fairly inarticulate.

Hi, I'm Liz! I am a big music enthusiast and I love to go to concerts (if you ask me genres, I will send you a massive list of favorite bands). My family and friends are super important to me and I love spending time with them. I also enjoy being active and visiting new towns on road trips, going to vineyards, playing almost all sports for fun but especially tennis, basketball, soccer and I really enjoy skiing too. As an English major, reading books, articles and poems and then discussing them comes naturally to me and I like to send interesting articles to my friends to read and ask for their thoughts. I am a big fan of Neapolitan pizza and wrote a blog post about the top 10 pizza places in D.C. Fun fact: I am an assistant basketball coach of 5th and 6th grade girls team! I just recently completed my masters degree in Acquisition and Contract management and am excited to have more time to start on new projects, read more books and plan more dance parties for fun.

Well hi! I'm a young woman living just outside DC- intellectual, active, and very centered on my Catholic faith. I'm looking to take things slowly for now as I'm just returning to the dating scene. I love rich conversations with friends and family, particularly related to theology, philosophy, politics, and the oddities of life! I tend to be more introverted at times but I also have a very mirthful and playful side. I love to indoor rock climb (1-2x/ week), sing (particularly sacred polyphony), take on art projects (like calligraphy), hike, and enjoy meals and fun times with friends and family. I feel very blessed to work for the Church in the field of theology and want my life to bear much fruit in the vineyard of the Lord!

I love to explore and I think of life as an adventure. I love to laugh, and I have a tendency to laugh at my own corny jokes harder than I should. I like to read. I'm always looking for book suggestions! I love Notre Dame, and pretty much everything associated with ND, especially college football! (Although that love was tested this past season...) I love making it back to watch the Irish (hopefully) dominate whoever theyre playing. I enjoy Midwestern kindness, but do not envy those winters. I love helping people. I used to be a teacher, and am still looking for a good way to give back to the community.

I'm passionate about education, especially youth missionary for a long time even since when I was a youth. Currently, I'm helping the religious education at my church, teaching 9 youth (age 14-20). When I was in my Junior year at University, I had a chance to study in Austria for half a year as an exchange student. During the half year, I travelled 9 countries. I met many friends there. The most unforgettable trip is the time in Rome during the Holy Week. It's a miracle that I got the tickets for all events (Papal Audience [VIP], Way of Cross, 3 Papal Mass...) by sending a request via email one week before the Holy Week. I like music. I play the piano and organ (learning organ now). Also, I like reading books. Of course, I enjoy spending time with my friends and helping those in need.

Hello! I'm a young Catholic who has only recently moved to the DC area after spending my entire life in North Dakota. I'm a pretty quiet guy overall, but I also love to joke around! I love the outdoors, but I am also just as happy watching documentaries about the outdoors on Netflix. Hiking is my thing, so if you're a hiker, I am in desperate need of a hiking buddy! Grad school has me spending most of my time reading, but when I do have free time I generally spend it either playing video games or messing around with a few coding projects. As a newbie to the DC area, I've also really enjoyed exploring the city a bit. I'm still very much a tourist here, so there's really nothing in this city that doesn't excite me! In terms of what I'm passionate about: I'm passionate about theology. I backed out of my career in IT in order to pursue my dream of becoming a theology professor, and I wouldn't change a thing. There is really nothing I love more than sitting down with someone like Joseph Ratzinger or Romano Guardini and working through their position on particular areas of theology.

I'm an ENFJ, outgoing, and fun. Born and raised in Texas, I make friends with strangers quickly. I like to laugh, am constantly cracking jokes, and I'm always up for new adventures. I also like spending quality one-on-one time with those I care about. Horror movies freak me out, and TV shows like "This Is Us" and "Parenthood" reduce me to a puddle of tears. I enjoy exploring DC's museums and outdoor scenes but also equally enjoy staying in reading a good novel or binge-watching Netflix. I'm definitely a foodie: I love trying new/unusual foods from all different parts of the world. and I also have fun experimenting with new recipes and hosting dinner parties or planning movie nights (like making dumplings while watching old Bruce Lee films). Coming from a family of immigration lawyers, I've been blessed to travel around the world and learn about so many different and wonderful cultures. I've spent summers abroad in Europe and China (for school, work, and family), and have also had the great fortune of traveling a lot as an adult. See below for my complete travel log! I love volunteering and organizing events for my young adult group to serve the homeless, the local pregnancy center, food banks, senior citizen homes, and community homes for adults living with mental disabilities (L'Arche). I've also been studying Byzantine iconography for the past couple of years.

I recently moved from San Francisco to Washington because I wanted a job that had more to do with politics. For the past six months, I've been in a rotational program at NBC News getting an up-close look at TV production during an election. I have a small group of close friends who mean the world to me. Laughter keeps me sane - I love anything and anyone who can draw it out of me. My mom says I would attend the opening of a shoebox, by which she means I like to get out and do new things. Hiking and playing tennis are my favorite activities. And, although I have not traveled as much in the past few years, it is really important to me that you have a passion for it too. My favorite trips so far have been to Italy and to Austria.

I am passionate about Charity, virtue and philosophy. I grew up loving good stories and other such things. I would say my family and friends are by far the most influential people in my life. In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, walking in nature, conversing about life and other similar things.
