I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, and I grew up in a solid, Catholic, family environment. It's an integral part of who I am and what I look for in others. It's the preferred basis, to one degree or another, for all of my relationships. I have what amounts to what I believe is a simple faith, growing day by day; but my friends would say I'm a pretty strong Catholic. I enjoy being around others who are strong and lead in their faith: it's inspiring, and it continually encourages me to be something more. My friends would also say I'm a good, conservative, principles oriented, fun loving, "southern gentleman" who is spontaneous and adventurous and knows how to have a good time, yet keep it all within reason, for the most part!

Blessings to you all on this journey called life! I relocated about three years ago to the Knoxville, TN area from the true dairy state of Wisconsin to take a job as a leadership instructor in the Air Force. In my free time I enjoy many things such as socializing with friends, hiking/camping, boardgames, road trips, volunteering, movies, working out, etc.. I am pretty "chilax" individual as I like to say (mix of chill and relaxed). Also, I am very active in the church community as small a group leader for Confirmation classes, teaching 2nd graders religious ed. preparing them to receive Holy Communion and Reconciliation, and I am also a leader in our local Young Adults group called "The Frassati Fellowship". My current goal is to complete a marathon in April, 26 miles here I come! If you would like to know more just ask!

You: Just a big-city girl living in a lonely world (and not married or separated). Me: Born and raised in San Francisco and taking the midnight train. Us: Haven't stopped believing. Enough Journey lyrics. I am a political and financial reporter, am working on non-fiction book that I'm pretty sure will be made into a major motion picture (!), am an ENTJ, and have become more of a realist than a romantic, although I prefer being the latter. Are we a good match? I have thought a lot about this and think you would get five things from me: being an active listener, trying to make you feel safe; affection mixed with curmedgeonliness, a commitment to caring for kids, and romance. I am at the point I would need five things from you: attractiveness, smarts, commitment to physical exercise, faith, and adventure. Warning: I am divorced and have two young daughters. But the kids make me appreciate the beauty of this life.

I love philosophy, the fine arts(especially literature, poetry, good film, symphony concerts, museums), nature, healthful living, Catholicism. I spend spare time reading, conversing with friends, exercising, appreciating nature. I try regularly to read The New Yorker and The NYRB. I am pursuing a PhD in Philosophy at CUA. My faith is at the center of my life, and my fundamental formative years in the faith occurred in St. John Fisher seminary in Stamford, CT.

In my free time, I love reading. Most of the time, I read theology, philosophy, or history, but I am always open to reading a good novel or poetry, if someone recommends it! My taste in fiction is pretty eclectic: J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, and Jim Butcher have all found their way into my reading list at one time or another! I also enjoy hiking and walking. That is the main way that I stay active; getting together with a friend for coffee and simply exploring a neighborhood or taking in the hustle and bustle of the city is my idea of a good time! I have lived near a large national park with plenty of hiking trails; I love walking in the woods, as it reminds me of home. I am a fan of all sorts of cultural activities. I enjoy visiting both art and history museums, as well as going to various cultural festivals. I enjoy any sort of music concert, whether it be REO Speedwagon or an intimate jazz performance at a club. I am always looking for someone to join me for an evening at the theatre: plays make for great conversations, both before and afterward! Although I was educated in theology, I am currently beginning a major change in career focus. For the past several years, I had been working toward a doctorate in theology, hoping eventually to teach at the post-secondary level. That may still happen, but I don't envision myself working as a college professor anytime soon. I am instead making my start in legal services/paralegaling. Currently, I am working at a small international trade law firm and, after a few years, hope to return to school for a Masters of Library Science. Ultimately, I dream of working as a law librarian who both conducts research and maintains legal resource collections for a team of lawyers. My most meaningful life experience was my time studying at Catholic University of American in Washington, DC. I moved there in 2011 to study. During that time, I discerned a monastic vocation, started my current job, and set down roots in a vibrant city filled with intellectual life and culture. I came for a degree, but now find myself pursuing something very different: to make a home in this area and meet other Catholics with whom I might enjoy spending the evenings and weekends with.

I had an awesome upbringing as one of seven in an Italian catholic household. We were raised to respect others, work hard, take responsibility and enjoy life! As a kid, I thought it was cool to have a glass of wine with dinner. Today, I still enjoy a nice glass of wine with good food and great company. I recently moved to DC and stay pretty busy with work and everyday life. Fitness has always been part of my life, so oddly enough I don't mind going to the gym, go figure? But If the weather is nice you might find me bicycling or golfing. I've traveled to many awesome places and love to travel whenever possible. Only way to get to know someone is in person - so let's schedule a time to meet for a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

Hello catholic women. I feel blessed to have a loving family and nice life that is pretty normal. I enjoy my line of work and am still learning new things. I keep in touch with childhood friends and I also have many new friends. I am not big into nightlife but I do enjoy going out to dinner often. I play music less than I would like to but it is a priority to me. I also like shopping and watching NBA. I am looking forward to meeting women that share my catholic faith.
