Hi! I am often shy and quiet when I first meet someone, but once I get to know you I am very outgoing and fun (at least that's what my friends tell me). Being somewhat quiet also makes me a great listener and observer of the people around me. I enjoy meeting new people and seeing how the Lord is at work in their lives. I believe that God has a plan for everything and I want to find the man that He has planned for me to share the journey toward deeper holiness and live out the vocation He has planned for both of us.

I'm and old soul who loves lounging on the beach in the sunshine or going on hikes! I converted to the Catholic church and my faith is a very important part of my life. I'm active in my church family, helping with the RCIA class and singing in the choir. I also help teach the second grade religious education class (what a bunch of rascals!). I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio and was so blessed to attend such a holy and spiritual college. I got my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a certificate in Christian Counseling. Currently I work as a therapist for a large charity and will soon be working part time in a private practice. I have a pretty dark sense of humor from my job, but it's all in good fun, and it's a good coping skill! My dog is also important to me. I *adore* dogs! My boxer Rumble is my angel, and I love playing with him and being around him. A dog lover is an absolute must and be ready, because he can be a little rough on the edges too and it's gonna take a committed guy to not get scared off by someone as protective as him! In my free time I love curling up with a good book and reading. I enjoy gardening through spring time and summer and going to the beach when the weather is agreeable. I really enjoy horseback riding and ballroom dancing. Both are something I very much would like to play bigger parts in my future. I like to spend time crafting and making handmade gifts. I'm an old soul in the sense sitting curled up somewhere with something to knit and some old timey music playing on the record player doesn't sound like a bad evening in! I love tea and coffee and like to throw the occasional tea party with friends and family.

My faith is the center of my life. Without it I wouldn't be capable of doing even a quarter of the things that God has graced me the will to accomplish. I'm a special education teacher, a volunteer youth minister for middle schoolers, a lector, a devoted daughter of God and a seeker of His truth: constantly seeking for God through prayer in every area of my life. I am far from perfect, I wear my worst sin on my body, am a bit of a nerd who has recently started playing DND with some friends from college online, a Star Trek junkie, a medieval faire fan, and I have not yet been to a comic con. I am an avid reader, a board game aficionado, a card game enthusiast (only for fun though), a cross-stitcher, and a constant learner- right now i'm trying to learn how to quilt and Spanish, neither of which I'm proficient at yet. I love puns and dry British-style humor. I am getting better at pursuing my goals and have taken to doing a 5k race every month as well as having joined my local Life Runners group. I am slowly paying down my student loans so that I might one day stop working for the public school system in order to home school my own children, when I have some, but I don't see this as a reason not to get married. I am busy with my work and volunteering, but I will make time for what is important- finding the man God wants me to marry that I may fulfill my vocation as a wife and mother. (That sure sounds like a great deal of duty and honor and not much romance, but it's a joy to do what God has in store for our lives, not simply a duty.... and I think I made it worse... should I delete it? ehhh... nah I'll leave it... someone might find it humorous!)

I'm a interested in finding a man who will be my best friend in life. I'm a romantic and at the same time I can be silly and a kid at heart. I am very close to my family and a relationship would include them also. I have two beautiful daughters who are the loves of my life; one of which is engaged and lives out of state. I look forward to finding my best friend to have fun with throughout our lives together.

Artistic interests are an important part of who I am. I am not competitive and I am a peacemaker. I will stand up for what is right. I notice the butterflies and birds. My humor is dry and silly. Coming with a lifetime of baggage, I am not one to open up my heart quickly, so don't expect a "spark". Whomever finds themselves with me will have to be determined to win my heart. That doesn't come from presents or flowers, but sticking with it . I like people. I think this journey to find companionship and true friendship to be harsh. I teeter between being alone and finding someone. My personality needs some idealistic cause to believe in to reach outside of myself. I am an observer, a listener. Now I am uncertain as to find my place without it. My newest attempt at adventure is camping. Beach camping is one of my next adventures (although, I am uncertain about how I will hoist a hammock there, still trying to solve that one with some kind of plan. I love the sound of the water on the shore, it has been the surefire thing for relaxing a busy mind.

God is good all the time and all the time God is good!

Hi I'm Amanda!! I was born and raised in Pensacola and am happy to be back close to family! I graduated from Florida State with a masters in Special Education. College was an amazing experience that formed me into the person I am today. I am a teacher and I am very passionate about children with special needs. I love spending time with my family and friends, watching college football, going out for a drink with friends, quiet nights at home with the puppy, and am always up for a new adventure. I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor and love to laugh. I am very optimistic and try to find the silver lining in every situation. I will try just about anything once, I have even been skydiving. I am pretty outgoing and love meeting new people so please say hello and lets chat :)

  • Lee Ann, 23 from Tallahassee, FL

Hey y'all! I enjoy good discussions that make me think (often religious or political), TV shows (Breaking Bad, Law & Order: SVU, or Frasier, anyone?), reading, testing out new restaurants, board/ card games, and traveling. Online dating is not my first choice for meeting people, but I recognize that it opens me up to a lot of people with whom I would not normally cross paths.
  • Claire, 25 from Tallahassee, FL
    25, Tallahassee, FL
Hello. I'm Claire. I like dogs, Netflix, intelligent conversation, and guys who can make me laugh. I'm pretty chill/easy to please. I live dolce far niente in a way most people cannot understand. I appreciate the simple things in life. I get nostalgic over the 90s. I work at a Catholic non-profit. It's a great ministry that serves women and the unborn in difficult situations. I love my job. I am challenged daily and constantly growing in my relationship with the Lord. The job can get pretty heavy, so I like my life outside of work to be as light and stress-free as possible. I like to have fun. But usually in ways that may come across as boring to others. But I don't mind. I'm very content in who I am. On that note, I'm a genuine good girl. No sex, drugs, cursing, or apologies for choosing to live that way. I will drink socially, and have been known to have a cigar or three under the persuasion of the right priest or seminarian friend. (I believe in Holy Smokes.) Praise and worship adoration is my favorite thing on the planet, so if that's going on somewhere in town, you can probably find me there. Devoutly Catholic. FSU alum. Food lover. Military brat. Honest. Realist. Shy. Sarcastic. Content. Very self-aware. Artsy. Musical. Nerdy. Night owl. Netflix addict. Hopeful. Wholesome. Wallflower. Wanderlust. Empath & expert over-analyzer. ISFJ. I'm new to this, and very skeptical. So to say I'm hesitant, but open to meeting someone worthwhile is an accurate assessment. I may not always answer my messages, but don't be afraid to say hi. I have no expectations of this. "Just browsing" is totally okay, too. I feel like that's part of the process. Please don't get upset/offended if you message me and I don't reply. It's nothing against you, personally. Chances are, I'm probably just not feeling it, and it's easier to just not respond. I don't want to waste your time or mine. In my experience, there's no good way to tell a person you're not attracted to them, unfortunately. And honestly, it's just too much work to go about it the polite way every time, but still have people either try to sell themselves better, guilt me, or be rude to me about it. (It's actually happened enough that I feel the need to say all this.) I know it's not ideal, but that's just how I do things now. =/ Sorry!

I have a wide variety of suits so I also make a great wedding date. Also can provide an in depth biography of Fulton sheen upon request. Jk but seriously I'm a huge fan of reading bishop sheen and st. Josemaria escriva. When I'm not reading I'm either exercising, playing sports with friends, or trying to pick up something new. I enjoy cooking but I've also been known to scour my local area for great places to eat! My faith is extremely important to me and I'm looking for someone to share that with.
