I have a quiet and simple nature. A devoted love is what I can offer and seek for. I like to go out from time to time although I also like to spend time reading and relaxing at home. Some say that I am a bit of conservative in thinking. But I am open to decent modern trend, I would say.

I am a widow, happily married for 50 years. Having a very busy profession helped when my husband went to be with our Lord. I have 4 wonderful grown sons who are all thoughtful and have their own successful professions and blessed with 11 grandchildren. (including step and foster) I had two scholarships to college, one in opera and one in medicine. I started doing choreography for plays, having choreographed Fiddler, Man of LaMancha etc. and teaching dance (cha cha swing and rhumba) but my profession now is far from that. I handle investments in Real Estate. I have lived many places the Micronesian islands and now Hawaii but, as beautiful and perfect Hawaii is, I believe Home is where the heart is. One of my sons lives in Hawaii (on another Island), others in Calif. Texas and Colorado. I travel often. I love music and collect musical instruments, often having friends come over who can play those instruments. I play piano but not perfectly,I just love it! Hula and Hawaiian music is also very important to me. My hula (group) also performs at church. I call church hula "Holy Hula". Some of the songs are scriptures written into a Hawaiian song. I think it must be hard to picture hula in church for some who are not familiar with it, but it's a beautiful dance and tells wonderful stories. We even had dancers at the Cannonization of St. Damian and Marianne. Some dances of course, are not appropriate for church. Hula is the dance of the soul. I'm asked to dance at funerals sons say it's like a wedding singer but not as much fun. The popular dance to do at a funeral is "Kanaka Wai Wai" It's about the man in the bible who asks how to get to heaven. It's very touching.. Our (group) dances with live musicians. We also perform for people in care homes, and Waikiki. We are mainly women who have grown up in Hawaii with this music and dance as part of their life. I guess because I have done dance most of my life, it has become part of me. When I lived in Texas I danced with the Balle Folkloric. I'm always the token Italian.!Love people and cooking for those I love. Entertain often it's so much fun to have people around my table eating and laughing. Before building my client base, I volunteered for the Judge of the ICA court and helped him with his briefs. We had some heavy discussions! I'm a very happy, energetic person. Everyone thinks I am a lot younger than my age. When living in Micronesia I helped the Jesuits with their work, Giving talks in the US.

I am just a simple person who is passionate about life and most definitely about God. Well....I try to live simply anyway, but life is life! I can write about many many things but often find it difficult to write about myself. So I'll just say what comes at the top of my head. Im not a prude but I am old fashioned. I am interested in making friends from the opposite sex, but let this be understood that I do follow my faith and therefore I am not interested in modern day relations. IM NOT THAT KIND OF GIRL! I like distance!! hahaha. Let's just say that I know what I am and what I am not, therefore I don't need anyone's approval or liking. I believe that a woman should bury her heart in Christ, so that if a man should ever seek it then he must first find God. I also think that a man who calls a woman 'hot' is likely not a man I'd like to have a conversation with. I don't even understand how that term can be considered a hip thing. I believe that love is not just a flood of feelings and emotions, it is a DECISION!! There will always come moments when things aren't perfect and when you may well not feel love for another person. You may actually desire to punch them in the face! True and real divine (agape) love is telling the other person you love them even when things are at their worse. I got extremely serious there. Whoa. Last things last. Id like to say Im sophisticated and worldly but my closest friends will say......."Kats goofy but endearing!" Darn!! Must I be honest here? I'll admit that it is not out of the ordinary to see people rolling on the floor laughing at something I said, but more often than not, it wasn't intentionally funny.
  • Frederick, 45 from Honolulu, HI

I'm a bay area native who moved to the Sacramento/Folsom area. I am looking to fellowship with like-minded Catholics and hope to meet the right gal who shares my ideals on family, religion, and career. I also believe in living a balanced life and living each and every moment. I am getting more active in my faith again and hope to become closer with understanding my spirituality a little better every day. Overall, I value my personal time, working out, creativity, innovation, intelligent and religious conversation and empathy to those less fortunate...
  • Michael, 39 from Honolulu, HI

Hello! My name is Mike, thanks for checking out my page. I just moved to Hawaii and started my own law firm. It is my dream job! When I am not working I enjoy being outside in paradise. I love to scuba dive, run, hike and I'm learning how to surf. I'd also like to learn how to sail. I also love to sit on the beach with a good book. I am very involved in my parish. I'm a Eucharistic minister, and a Knight of Columbus. I also do a bible study and help out at the homeless shelter. I come from a big family. I have 5 younger sisters and 18 nieces and nephews!
  • JP, 34 from Honolulu, HI
    34, Honolulu, HI
Officer in the US Coast Guard, currently working as a civil engineer. I will be transferring to Honolulu this summer and will be there for the next four years, longer if I can swing it. Sort of a jack of all trades, doing what needs to be done. If I don't know how to do the job, I can figure it out pretty quick and normally end up doing it better than those before me. I have done or tried a lot of things and am open to try just about anything at least once...sports, games, travel, whatever. I do have some geekier tendencies at times...think of a toned down version of Big Bang Theory. (I have seen the Star Trek shows, Star Wars, Firefly, LOTR, etc, but couldn't tell you the minute of what episode someone said something and don't speak the languages). Definitely love baking. Cleveland winters gave me time to perfect some recipes. I have an office of very willing taste testers who aren't afraid to provide candid feedback...luckily, most of the time it is very positive. In general, I'd rather be a little goofy & have a good time than be serious, but know when it is time to be serious and can act accordingly. I can be a bit sarcastic, but normally because I am trying to get a laugh out of someone and never intend to be cruel. Love pointing out things that just don't make sense in a comical way and have a tendency to answer rhetorical questions. Why ask the question if you don't want an the reactions I get are usually priceless. I've got pretty thick skin, so I don't get easily offended by others who are sarcastic. It's always fun getting into a good back and forth with someone else who has thick skin and knows that nothing said is personal and it is just meant to make the other laugh. I believe that if you can make others happy, and keep them in a good mood or make their lives easier somehow, you will have a friend for life that will return the favor if they can or pass it along to someone else. If they aren't able to, then you'll just bank some good karma for another day. I can be loyal to a fault and family always comes first. If I commit to something, then I commit fully. Because of this, I normally don't rush into anything unless I have done the research and am sure. I am a flexible amiable soul & can usually fill the void in any group/relationship. Whether that means leading it, assisting heavily to achieve someone else's goal, or just sitting back and letting them run with it. This is all just a rough idea of me.
  • Micah, 33 from Honolulu, HI
    33, Honolulu, HI
Born and raised Catholic although I was not properly catechized in my youth, three years ago I decided to dedicate my life to one of Gods will instead of my own. Truly feeling blessed and constantly amazed by all the beauty within the Church. Why didn't anybody teach me this? I LOVE LOVE LOVE being Catholic and I also like to nerd it up in my spare time by watching Our Journey Home. * I am most passionate about becoming a man after Gods own heart. I look forward to my personal growth towards Christ, and my life converting to one of Gods will instead of one of my own. *Everybody I meet probably has played a role; however, a homeless man almost died in my arms which has ultimately influenced me the most. *In my leisure time I currently like to surf, help the homeless, and work towards advancing my career. I'm basically an open book but not really good at these introductions etc....any questions feel free to ask.

  • Kamea, 38 from Honolulu, HI
    38, Honolulu, HI
I would like to meet people who share the same views and faith. People whom I could talk with about the goodness and greatness of God. I would like to share the everyday miracles I receive from our loving and merciful God. I would also like to hear stories on how God has changed and inspired their lives. I have been a Catholic through out my life and I am truly greatful of all the teachings and the sacraments that we have in the Catholic Faith. I would like to share the presence of God in my life and also learn from what other Catholics have to say... and if in the process I meet someone whom God will bless me with... someone who could give me a better understanding of The Word and someone who will be there to remind me to hang on and keep the faith in times of weakness and struggle... someone who could be a friend and someone who would be there just because............ to share jokes and funny stories... and make interesting conversation ... that would be an answered prayer!!!
  • Kevin, 28 from Honolulu, HI

Hello I'm Kevin! I'm an Officer in the Army. Currently living in Augusta, GA but the duration of this stay is entirely contingent on the whims of the Army unfortunately. Was raised in Elkhart, IN and attended Parochial Schools in that area for all my formative years. Enjoy traveling and seeing as much of the world as I can. Small note: a lot of my pictures have me in glass, I got LASIK a few months ago and no longer wear them. Sorry to disappoint those of you interested in the intellectual look haha.
