77, Honolulu, HII am a widow, happily married for 50 years. Having a very busy profession helped when my husband went to be with our Lord. I have 4 wonderful grown sons who are all thoughtful and have their own successful professions and blessed with 11 grandchildren. (including step and foster) I had two scholarships to college, one in opera and one in medicine. I started doing choreography for plays, having choreographed Fiddler, Man of LaMancha etc. and teaching dance (cha cha swing and rhumba) but my profession now is far from that. I handle investments in Real Estate. I have lived many places the Micronesian islands and now Hawaii but, as beautiful and perfect Hawaii is, I believe Home is where the heart is. One of my sons lives in Hawaii (on another Island), others in Calif. Texas and Colorado. I travel often. I love music and collect musical instruments, often having friends come over who can play those instruments. I play piano but not perfectly,I just love it! Hula and Hawaiian music is also very important to me. My hula (group) also performs at church. I call church hula "Holy Hula". Some of the songs are scriptures written into a Hawaiian song. I think it must be hard to picture hula in church for some who are not familiar with it, but it's a beautiful dance and tells wonderful stories. We even had dancers at the Cannonization of St. Damian and Marianne. Some dances of course, are not appropriate for church. Hula is the dance of the soul. I'm asked to dance at funerals ...my sons say it's like a wedding singer but not as much fun. The popular dance to do at a funeral is "Kanaka Wai Wai" It's about the man in the bible who asks how to get to heaven. It's very touching.. Our (group) dances with live musicians. We also perform for people in care homes, and Waikiki. We are mainly women who have grown up in Hawaii with this music and dance as part of their life. I guess because I have done dance most of my life, it has become part of me. When I lived in Texas I danced with the Balle Folkloric. I'm always the token Italian.!Love people and cooking for those I love. Entertain often it's so much fun to have people around my table eating and laughing. Before building my client base, I volunteered for the Judge of the ICA court and helped him with his briefs. We had some heavy discussions! I'm a very happy, energetic person. Everyone thinks I am a lot younger than my age. When living in Micronesia I helped the Jesuits with their work, Giving talks in the US.

The nuns who taught me at school were very influential when I was growing up and also my parents. I enjoy meeting with family and friends during my leisure time.
62, Kailua, HIWalk with me. Anywhere. In the sand along Kailua beach. On a trail somewhere. Down Kalakaua Ave. Anywhere. You say things and I say things back to you. Guess we'll find out things about each other. We might stop to have a bite to eat or just keep on walking. We'll pull up and sit somewhere. Maybe talk and laugh a bit. Say things about passersby and all things life. Don't know how long we will be. We might go our separate ways. Or we might just continue our walk.....

70, Waipahu, HII would enjoy finding someone to build a foundation of friendship and then see what develops. I am not looking for perfection. It's more about what's in your heart that interests me. I would like to meet a woman who loves to laugh, has a good sense of humor, someone who likes to have fun, is trustworthy and who takes care of herself physically and mentally. A soul mate that I could connect with and be best friends with. A life partner to share a committed, loving relationship. I am an incurable romantic. Honesty, trust, fidelity and respect in a relationship are important to me. I am not looking for a clone as differences energize and enhance a relationship. If you can't open yourself up, You can't appreciate the wonder inside. I will accept you for who you are. I am looking for someone that is secure with themselves and is a good communicator. I'm still optimistic about finding a true love. Good love is hard to come by. A companion I can talk with and relate to. I am younger than my chronological years. I am not extravagant and do not live beyond my means. I have a comfortable life and do not flaunt what I have. I am 70 years old, been widowed for 5 years, have a daughter. I am up front, honest, don't like playing games. I have a good sense of humor and can even laugh at myself, don't do the bar scene, enjoy exercising to keep myself in shape physically and mentally sharp. I like to go to restaurants, but I am also just as comfortable at home. Children and animals are drawn to me. I enjoy the comforts and coziness of staying home, but also enjoy a night on the town. I am laid back and easy going. I am more comfortable in jeans, but enjoy getting dressed up for an occasion. I am missing one thing, a partner in life. I'm shy, or maybe the word is "protective" at first until I get to know someone. As the Foreigner song says - I want to know and feel love again". I am looking for someone with some of the same interests that I can share these experiences with and enjoys life. My pictures on my profile are all within the last three years. Be yourself in your profile. If your interested, let's take a chance, meet and see where it goes. Dating these days requires faith and risks. Forgiveness, second chances and hope keeps us searching for the right person.
