  • Pat, 58 from Chicago, IL

My Catholic faith is the most important part of my life. I have a great love for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, have been on some life-changing pilgrimages, attend Catholic conferences, submit myself to the authority of Holy Mother Church, and embrace all the tenets of our Faith. Yet this spirit is walking around inside the body and mind of a lawyer, who is passionate about life, still twinkly and cute, with a quick wit. I keep up on current events, news and governing (as distinguished from politics). My great passion is travel; I hope to see many more places. I love the movies, and all the arts. I am a writer, and appreciate other writers' work. I like sports because of the good they can do for us and the lessons they teach us. I love trying to make life beautiful for everyone around me.

Hello, brother in Christ. If you voted for Trump, I'm sure you had your reasons, but you can stop reading now because we're just not the right match for each other. If you voted for Hillary, or didn't vote at all, unless you were in a coma at the time, the same is most likely the case. I have no interest in debating anyone about this; I just don't want to waste your (or my) time. Just trust me, I'm not the one for you. But I wish you joy, happiness and many blessings on your journey. I am analytical yet highly emotional. I'm pretty serious, get easily frustrated with shallowness, and crave depth. I am very pro-life. I love worshiping the Lord through Christian music (Rich Mullins and Todd Agnew are my favorites). I'm warm and tender, nurturing, extra-sensitive and emotional (at my best); but impatient, intolerant, lazy, extra-sensitive and emotional (alas, at my worst). My life goal is to use my gifts to bring glory to God. I have tremendous love for the Bible, and am very committed to promoting a culture of life (I worked full-time in pro-life ministry for several years). In some ways I'm pretty intense in the sense that I am easily frustrated with shallowness and crave depth. Familiar with the Myers-Briggs personality profile? I am ISFJ. I am a big Chicago Bears fan (the team is owned by some devout Catholics) and was over the moon when the Cubs won the World Series! I am an ex-vegetarian (was a vegetarian for 14 years), and I may go back! I enjoy history, Scrabble, thoughtful film and hiking. Finally, I firmly believe we need to allow the Church to change us; and NOT concentrate on how we can change the Church. (After all, we ARE the Church, and as each one of us submits to her teachings and disciplines, the Church becomes that much holier herself.)

I am a 30 year old practicing Catholic from Chicago looking for a practicing Catholic women. Someone that I can have a relationship with centered on Jesus Christ. I would describe myself as a pretty easygoing, fun loving and intelligent guy. Most people say that I am funny and I think that's true, especially once you get to know me. My family and I are very close and we often spend time together. I love to read, hangout with my friends around Chicago and I am open to try new things. I work out often and I am a huge fan of the Chicago sports teams. Often I look for challenges in life that will help me grow as a person becasue I am always trying to improve. I know that I can always be a better Christian and I try to be active in the Church. Yet I accept the limitations that our LORD has given us and I tust in His providence and mercy.

  • Marco, 23 from Arlington Heights, IL
    23, Arlington Heights, IL
Hello! My name is Marco. I am currently a doctoral student at Rush University in Chicago. I would describe myself as the type of person who likes to ponder a good intellectual inquiry and laugh with family or friends in a good conversation. Although I am, technically, an introvert, I do like to be quite adventurous. I like to try new restaurants, meet new people, and have new experiences. My family and I often drive to the National Parks to site-see and hike. I have a bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Saint Louis University, a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Rush, and am a certified member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). I very passionate about science and believe that it is "God's fingerprint" in our physical world. Other than that, I enjoy playing tennis, cooking, and taking walks. I am very dedicated to my Catholic faith. It is my faith in Our Lord, His Church, and Our Lady as well as the intercession of the saints that gives me the graces to live out my daily life in a spirit of service and sincerity.
